So, me and my partner are picking up a german shepherd puppy this weekend. I’ve been obsessed with GSDs ever since I was little, and I’m very excited to be getting one.
I’m more than aware of how they’re naturally prone to becoming dog reactive, even if socialized well. Now, my previous dog (border collie/aussie mix) was also dog reactive, and I handled it fine as we had a backyard that he could take his energy out in. But now I live in an apartment, with a big park that’s a two minute walk away and has hiking trails. It’s known to be very dog populated, so I want to try and combat this reactivity as much as I can while she’s young.
Was there anything specific you guys did while your GSDs were still in their puppy phase to help ease or avoid reactivity, especially with other dogs?

Hi everyone,
I’m 27 and currently working as an operations manager at a BPO in the Philippines. I oversee an account with over 200 employees. While I’m grateful for my job and the opportunities it’s given me, I’ve been feeling really burnt out and stressed lately.
I make around 80,000 PHP/month, and my company covers my rent, so financially, I’m doing okay. But I’m starting to think more and more about trying something different—something that gives me more control over my time and energy.
My partner works from home, and honestly, seeing how much they enjoy the flexibility and work-life balance makes me want to try freelancing. I’ve read so many posts about people setting their own schedules, avoiding commutes, and just having a better quality of life overall.
The thing is, I’m scared to take the leap. My mom is a senior now and is dependent on my HMO. She sacrificed so much for me and my siblings growing up, and I don’t want to risk losing her healthcare coverage. That’s been the biggest thing holding me back.
I’ve tried applying for freelance roles before, and I’ve even gotten a few offers, but I always end up turning them down because of this fear—and maybe a little bit of doubt about whether I can actually make it work.
Has anyone been in a similar position? How did you handle the transition, especially with things like healthcare for dependents? Should I try freelancing on the side first, or is it better to take a more direct approach?

Hi, I'm living in Lagos and I would like to know if there is a shop where I can have a small number of custom toys made.
For the toy itself, I need a small soccer ball with the classic black and white pattern, like this ⚽️. The ball itself has to be as small as a pair of dice, and made from similar material.

Ne znam kako bolje formulirati pitanje. Ne volim ići u teretanu jer ide puno ljudi s posla i bivša ide isto tamo i ne treba mi to. Doma imam dva utega na kojima mogu težinu mjenjati i onu šipku šta ide na vrata ali dosadi s vremenom samo to sklekove i trbušnjake raditi. Jel ima neko nekakvu preporuku za nesta šta bi mogao uzeti a da je zapravo korisno?
Nemam dovoljno prostora u stanu da uzmem neku veću miltipraktik spravu
