hi!! a few weeks ago i started volunteering at a food pantry. tldr, i love all of the staff, other regular volunteers, and all of the people i've met who have come through. one of the men working there is a man living across the street in a shelter - he has been incredibly kind and has helped to psuedo train me. we've shared stories about out lives, and yesterday i explained how i commute an hour back and forth to volunteer and while getting gas sometimes is a pain, i enjoy it too much. he then gave me $40, and refused to take it back. i would like to repay the gesture by using his money to put together a small care package for him, but wanted input to make it reasonable and genuinely helpful.
so far, i have: -a pack of thick socks -nice thick winter gloves (he has some, but they're very thin) -a 4 pack of lighters, and 2 packs of his favorite cigs (do shelters allow these inside? i've seen mixed answers) -working hands hand lotion (i noticed his hands were dry and cracked) -a loaded bus card (he mentioned he enjoys riding around to different cities during his free time)
his shelter and the food pantry provides him meals, and he is not allowed to bring outside food or snacks into the shelter. i would include cash, but i have a feeling he wouldn't accept.
any feedback is helpful!! i've never really had the financial means to help someone in need, but want to repay his kindness.

I always want to re-experience Elden Ring, but I just can't play open world games without quitting within fifteen minutes. I don't think I even completed the base game without exorbitantly checking the wiki map. I love Dark souls 3 and can't stop coming back to it, but I can never do the same with Elden ring. I've considered mapping a linear route to follow throughout the whole game, but are there other ways to play the game but convert it to a more linear, traditional dark souls experience?

I’m in my last year of college, and about 4 months ago, I started talking to a girl who’s a classmate. We didn’t talk much before, but it all started with casual chatting and now we end up talking on the phone all night. She shares everything with me—by everything, I mean everything.
Recently, I found out she’s having issues with her long-term boyfriend. She wants to end the relationship, but he doesn’t want to, and now she’s feeling confused about what to do. She’s told him it’s over, but he keeps asking to meet up. Every time I ask her how she feels about it, she says she doesn’t know. On one hand, she wants to end it, but on the other, she feels bad for him.
Our relationship has gotten really close over the past few months. When I ask her about us, she always says it can’t happen because she doesn’t want another relationship. We’re kind of like best friends, but honestly, it feels like a relationship without the physical intimacy. We talk and care for each other in a way that feels more than just friendship, but she always brushes it off and says we’re “just kidding” and that it’s not serious.
I play along and say “Yeah, it’s just kidding,” but the problem is, I think I’m starting to fall for her. My heart races when I don’t talk to her, or when she says something harsh. I don’t understand what to do. I just can’t stop talking to her, and I’m struggling to slow things down.
I try not to assume anything, but sometimes it feels like she might like me too and just isn’t admitting it. But then I think, why would she act this way if she’s not interested? Maybe I’m overthinking it.
I’m feeling really confused, as you can probably tell from this post. Any suggestions on how to deal with this situation?
