2025.01.23 14:36 baddestfawn Upgrading from S21 - should I pick S24 or S25?
So like most of you, I want to upgrade my phone and I'm really split.
The S25 doesn't seem significantly different from S24. I don't care about AI, I really don't need advanced Gemini that later will be under a subscription.
Currently I could get an S24 for ~750 Euros, comparing to 770 Euros for S25. I could get S25 down to ~670 Euros with a trade-in.
However... what is really unclear to me is the "search your whole phone with AI" function - is this considered to be Gemini and is this the feature that will become a service after the trial period?
I am also considering other brands, but I have no idea how my Buds3 and Galaxy7 will work on other devices.
I would really love to hear your thoughts and experiences with S24, especially if you switched from S21, or about device compatibility if you've decided to go with other phones.

For instance, I just watched a youtube video that mentions some of the things the youtuber (also gamedev) improved on his game, some of them are:
- Allow opt out from screen shake cause people with motion sensibility - Diatonic mode - Have a FPS limit to avoid the game gets a crazy/unnecessary high FPS rate - Always add smooth transitions/animations to better gamefeel
But these things make me think, what other things we should keep in mind? Based on your experience, what should we have on a game to make it better for the users in general? Something that we should always have/keep in mind when developing a game, kinda no matter the genre or something.

So i was rewatching ertugrul season 1 and my dad happened to glance over.He liked the show and binged all 5 seasons along with my whole family.After finishing ertugrul,he was ready to move on to Kurulus Osman and he was utterly disappointed.He sort of got attached to the characters and stuff in Dirilis Ertugrul and he did not like the new show at all.The show isn't bad at all but all the actors just leaving is sad.LMAO he had to cope so bad that he just put on the finale of ertugul once again.Gems are rare for a reason

To beat this fucking game to the good ending, you need to collect all the parts of Zero's body and this does not cause problems until I came to the Bubble Crab level. To get to the hunter, you need to kill the damn fish, which is almost impossible without a charged slicer. But the arm upgrade is in a place that you can't get to unless you're a masochist. You try to hit this pixel with a chain, and then you constantly run towards the enemy to recharge it. Worst game experience.
And the worst thing is that you cannot return to the hunter. Completed the level - that's it, he disappeared and you can no longer get a good ending. The exit button doesn't work until you complete the level. It's just foul
