Also, some witch will visit your house, and you need to provide some vegetables like onions, if not they will do some sorcery and haunt your immediate relatives then one of them will die eventually. It was around mid-end 2000s if I can recall correctly. I as a child was shit scared of that. I don't know if it was everywhere in Nepal but this myth was quite popular in my region (Gandaki Pradesh) at that time.

2025.01.23 14:40 Merlin509 Struggling with health obsession around food.
I’ve struggled for a long time with obsessing about the foods I eat and it’s gotten worse with the constant barrage of social media videos and ad’s saying this food is bad, this food is good, don’t eat this, do eat that. This on top of being inundated with pharmaceutical commercials on TV and health warnings everywhere. I’m in pretty good health and at a good weight. I workout 3-4 times per week and have for decades. I’ve never been significantly over weight, but I’ve been prone to hypochondria and worry about heart health, cancers, etc. I’ve had several heart work ups over the decades that have all been fine. My cholesterol is good and I eat pretty clean. All that said, I still am paranoid about eating anything with much fat, especially cheese, or processed foods and sugar. I imagine it clogging my arteries as soon as I eat it or contributing to some sort of cancer. I rationally know it doesn’t work that way, but the thoughts nag at me to the point that I can’t enjoy eating outside my controlled clean diet. Normal people can sit down and have a beer and pizza or a burger and enjoy it without obsessing and I wish I could be that way. Unfortunately, most of the ads that seem to pop up everywhere continue to warn of all these threats, which doesn’t help. Has anyone found a way around this? Is this unusual?

Industry meaning medtech, medtech, social media, transportation etc. Does the type of design you do matter more (such as Enterprise VS consumer facing design)?
When I interview, I realize interviewers are looking for a case study in the same industry (eg. E-commerce) they are in. If that's the case, is it even possible for me to make sure I have a type of case study that fits their bill, or is the design prowess more important in what theyr looking for?
I'm not really sure what industry I'm interested in too, so how did you guys find out what you were interested in, and has an experience in one industry stopped you from being in another?

2025.01.23 14:40 kastiak D&B R1 issues
I have an issue with connecting my d&b R60 to my R1 v3.36.2 software.
I have two windows laptops, and both have the same issue. I connect my R60 to my amplifiers, launch R1 on my laptop, plug the R60 into the laptop but the software doesn't see it.
The only way that I am able to make it work is a single one of the usb ports on only one of the two laptops seems to let it connect to the R1.
Both laptops are on windows 11, both have an AMD processor. I've even tried to use a dongle on the usb-c port to try additional ports, but nothing seems to work except this one single port... All usb ports are 3.0.
What could be the issue, is there a trick that I don't know of which could resolve this? Please help
