So I've been intensely listening to AIC for a year now and got more into their history too.
Has anyone been incredibly saddened by the passing of Layne Staley that wasn't around at that time? I can't seem to get a grip on why it breaks my heart so much. I wish someone could have saved him. Has he had a profound affect on you? Or has AIC music in general had an affect on you?

Hey redditors. I really don't know what to do and have no one to say this to.
I live in a economically not-so-ok country. I'm in uni and i have a bf of almost 2 months. My family doesn't know about him since it's still too early. I love him dearly but it's still hard to know him truly as it's not been even 2 months yet.
My dad works at a factory and he is very cloce with his boss. His boss has a son same age as me (I'm a girl). You probably know where this is going.
Today i was sitting watching tv with my mom and grandma. I was looking at my phone whilst listening to my mom and grandma's convo. My mom said smt like "i said to him (my dad) why not make her (me) meet with his son?" And i didn't say anything. Later today, my dad came from work and started talking about him. He didn't say it directly to me but i knew what was happening.
Now, as i said, i love my bf but i also know not to be blinded by it. I don't think i can leave him but i also don't know if i know him well. Also there is a possibility that the boss's son will not be interested in me. I know he is not a bad person as i've heard about him from my dad for years (from when i was a little child).
What do i do? Will i be regretful? What would you do?
Since it's still my first year in uni, i will obviously not be married for at least 3 years (until i graduate) and I don't plan on marrying right after uni as well.
I have 3 years ahead of me but i know my mom will not give up on this idea. This sounds so fake but it isn't 😭 I'm scared of my mom's reaction if i say i have a bf. Please help 🙏🏻😭

I have Caryota Mitis (Fishtail Palm) that I identified having spider mite. However, I also see these white dots on some leaves. What is this? The spider mites themselves (in the webs) seem to be brown. I’m already treating it with predatory mites. Thanks!

Hey Reddit, I was contacted yesterday on TikTok by a small crypto-trading advisor account offering to handle some trades for me for absolutely nothing in return. I accepted, thinking it would be through something like Robinhood or some other reputable application but instead he asked me to use XTB or SyncExpertTrader. I said XTB since there was literally 0 info on SyncExpertTrader, then we continued on as he was walking me through the process of signing up and everything, and now I'm at the point where I'm being asked to transfer $500 of BTC to XTB, initially I told him I only wanted to do $200-$300 but he insisted that I do $500. Furthermore, there is a page that should enable me to place funds in XTB directly from my bank; however the services were down for that hence why I am transferring BTC to the site instead. I haven't done this yet because it seems super sketchy to me, he mentioned that the trading management would be done through Copy Trading tools which are automatically connected to him once I registered which makes me feel like this may be his site or his firms and hell have direct access to my bank info? But once again I could be to skeptical, help?
