2025.01.23 14:26 zjr-13 Possible animal tracks?

Possible animal tracks? Not the best pictures to ID with since it’s been raining constantly here but I wanted to try to at least narrow it down based on size or something? They’re really far apart compared to anything I’ve ever seen 🫠 I woke up and saw these in my yard. It’s hard to tell in the picture but the dirt that’s outlined in slide 5 is “mounded” behind the track, like whatever it was took off very quickly. Size 11 shoe in slide 2 for distance reference since I don’t have a tape measure (Ignore how dirty they are, they’re my outdoor shoes literally for stepping in crap and mud lol). Trying to figure it out because I have chickens. I do have a large dog but she doesn’t go in this part of the yard- she’s leash walked, so I know for sure. Im in rural south Florida. If there’s any other info that would help, let me know. Like I said I know this isn’t likely going to be solved but I wanted to try for the sake of my hens :)

I plan on pursuing my love for psychology after high school and am simply weighing my options.
I’ve seen the mixed feelings for online programs, and their pros and cons.
However, I just want to ask about whether or not this route will screw me. I’ve seen people say that earning a bachelors online is possible, but won’t open doors to a masters.
With IU online, the diploma shouldnt say online as well.
Indiana University provides online programs for a masters in social work, and online entices me the most because I don’t know if I can motivate myself physically to commit to another 6 years of physical in person school.
Campus life never sounded fun to me, I don’t want to really go out and do the things they advertise, and the flexibility and the time saved through an online course sounds so much more appealing to me and my preference.
Juggling a low pay job, papers and homework, a social life, a healthy sleep schedule, time for myself and others just doesn’t sound appealing.
What should I do? Have any of you guys gotten a masters in social work through online? Also the uni I want to attend online has a bachelors in psych, but no bachelors in social work, can i do a masters in social work with a bachelors in psych? The program is accredited with CSWE
And how do I earn experience for a job as a clinical social worker if they all require 1+ year.

The game has around 2000 players live and I have trouble finding anything besides some lame Push games (I hate Push).
I played Sandstorm a lot a few years ago, we loved to play Firefight and Ambush with my friend - now it's impossible to find a game.
I understand that they were never the most popular to begin with, but no games at all??
My second favourite - Frontline, is very hit or miss. Sometimes I won't find a game at all. Sometimes after I'll find a game after a couple of minutes, but if they vote for a map I'm not interested in playing (Crossing for the hundrendth time) and try to join another game it turns out I join the very same server back.
There was skirmish for a limited time, no luck there too and you'd think that people would be interested in it.
Server browser looks pretty empty when it comes to PvP too.
All there is is Push and PvE.

2025.01.23 14:26 swarthmoreburke One Small AI Change I'd Love (But Maybe It's a Bigger Problem Than I Think)

So I've now played through (rather obsessively over a few weeks) all the way through the Skelmar DLC, having stopped in a previous play because I disliked the swamp region.
The game definitely scratched my itch for tactical wargaming with a slight RPG element to it. There are a lot of things that could be improved and various rough edges, but I'm not hung up about any of them.
Except...I actually really enjoyed the Skelmar content, particularly the challenge of recapturing the bastions. There was one thing that was driving me nuts on most of them, however, and that's the ones where you start with allies, most of whom are badly wounded right out the gate.
The problem is that ally AI in these fights is really terrible, in a way that seems different than enemy AI. Not only is their target selection really questionable on these maps, they also invariably run into the fires, even if there's no particular need to in order for them to path to their target. In an ordinary fight, I don't worry too much if someone's on fire even early in the fight, both because I have a fair number of squaddies who can't catch on fire and because most fights are over before it's an issue. But in these bastion fights, I generally want to heal people up before the second phase in the courtyard, and I want to be somewhat stingy with healing because managing valor points is important. That gets a lot harder when green allies are practically going out of their way to catch on fire and then standing next to my squad, sometimes after I've healed someone (e.g., the one NPC who has to survive often will at the end of Phase 1 run up close to the gate and go through the fire on the way.)
Is it that hard to keep them from doing that in the AI? Having a "no fire" tag in the pathing? I can see though that it might be in the sense that one of the weaknesses of the game generally is pathing. The amount of time you have to spend when travelling overland clicking repeatedly so that your whole party doesn't get caught on the landscape is really frustrating, and in various tactical maps, you often have to manage your own characters' paths incredibly carefully, especially to avoid fire. But a no-fire toggle would be a blessing for both allies and your own troops.
