Some of it's harmless or predictable enough (such-and-such is coming back for a sequel, a certain film is being remade for the 18th time, etc.). But sometimes...there are announcements from the moment you read them, you're like, "Yeah, ok...I'll believe it when I see it". Has anybody else experienced this and if so, what are your favorite examples? Some of mine are...
*To be clear, I'm not taking about fake news. I'm talking about real announcements that either didn't make sense logically or just sounded like pipe dreams*
- Batman v Superman and Captain America: Civil War will open on the same day
- Quentin Tarantino is making a Star Trek film
- The next Friday the 13th film will be produced by LeBron James
- A 21 Jump Street x Men in Black film is in the works

Olá! Bom, eu estou dentro das vagas em uma universidade utilizando a cota PPI (Pretos, Pardos e Indígenas). A minha família é o puro suco da miscigenação (tanto paterna, quanto materna). Minha avó materna é indígena, mas pro nosso país, só é considerado indígena quem reside em aldeia (kk), e minha avó mora na zona urbana há muitos anos e está desaldeada, então ela não tem o RANI. Se ela não tem o RANI, eu tbm não tenho e não posso entrar como indígena (mesmo eu tendo traços indígenas). Coloquei como eu sendo pardo, mas estou com medo agora de não passar na heteroidentificação por saber de diversos casos de pessoas na mídia que não foram considerados pardos. Tirei algumas fotos de vários ângulo, com iluminação diferente e câmeras frontais e traseiras do celular. Gostaria que vocês me dissessem se me consideram pardo e se eu tenho chance de ser deferido ou não.

Hi everyone ✋, I hope you're doing well. This is my first post in this group. I have a few questions regarding certain aspects of world-building in Tensura.
First, I wanted to know how many "Voids" exist in Tensura's cosmology. They all seem to share the concept of non-existence, but to what extent? And what are the differences between them?
Also, what's the difference between the Void of Turn Null and the Abyss of Hell? Both seem to involve erasing existence, but Turn Null can not only erase but also create constructions. Do they share the same potential, or is the Abyss of Hell just a kind of negative energy acting like an anti-particle of existence, rather than a true Void?
Lastly, where does Turn Null come from, and how does it compare to the other Voids?

2025.01.23 14:43 Ok-City-9304 Where to get misc items?
I'm trying to be better about buying less stuff, and I've cancelled my Amazon Prime account as a start. I also subscribe to a local farm's in-season vegetable delivery service, and get local eggs and meat. But this past week I ran into a couple of cases where I truly did not know where to buy items and ended up getting them from the local Walmart, which I know is no better than Amazon.
For things like the following, where do you guys go for this?
- Baby Tylenol (my kid had a fever and a nasty cough and wasn't getting any sleep)
- Replacement shower liner (my dogs grabbed the old one out of the dryer and tore it up)
- Baby socks
- A space heater (our HVAC died, we needed a holdover until tech came out. I did a quick scan of facebook marketplace before getting the space heater and none were available)

I'm an incoming college freshman for A.Y. 2025-2026, and I qualified for all three programs I chose, but I'm choosing BSIT. I saw from the replies of a post here by user Aggravating_Body_849 that the profs for BSA are the least to say, not doing good. I was hoping to get answers from students under the BSIT program if the profs there at least do their jobs I've been worried since when I saw the replies under that post.

I know that Garcia and Riveira weren't exactly master criminals but Luis at least was a gangster. Why did they get a hire car rather than stealing one and putting false plates on? That's seems to be the standard criminal practice here (UK). Is it more tricky over there? Too risky?
Also Jeff was intimating they might have got a similar looking car to his. Is that practical? Can you ask for a particular car or do you just get whats available?
