My favourite/most played games are Borderlands 2/3/Pre, Overwatch 2, Ghostrunner. For more reference, outside of first person I enjoy other games with difficulty such as Terraria, Don't Starve, Risk of Rain 2, and some rhythm like JS&B (though I am mostly looking for first person recs).

2025.01.23 14:44 QueenWiggler Booked - help with a couple of decisions?
My boyfriend and I are coming Sept 26-Oct 5 and land at 9:15am. We have a Jeep Renegade with Lotus reserved as the higher clearance gives me a bit of comfort. With that being said, we have 9 days and I see a lot of people recommending to do the whole ring road. I want to...but it also seems really rushed? Or am I overestimating how long we will be at stops? Not doing the westfjords this trip but I do have a lot of activities I hope to do (Glacier hike, silfra snorkel, horseback riding, and considering a super jeep tour of Thorsmork). Would sticking to the south coast and back be better? The biggest issue I have with that is I really want to check out Studlagil (even if its brown) and he is a HUGE walter mitty fan so I know he would enjoy seeing the road in that area from the skateboard scene. I welcome all thoughts on this as I try to finalize plans and start booking hotels soon. I'm very torn on experiencing the different sections or taking it a bit more chill to account for the weather maybe causing us to miss a lot.
Second question: With us landing at 9:15am, what are the thoughts of doing the silfra snorkeling that afternoon. Their latest booking is at 4pm. Especially if we do the whole ring road, I want to hit the ground running. I am not worried about jet lag as we have never had a problem with it, thank goodness. I have seen first group is best for clarity and wait times so doing the rest of the golden circle and doing this first thing on day 2 is also an option.

Hey I'm thinking about creating a new project, but this time I want to try to do it right. Like start by creating a design in figma, then writing the requirements in trello so that it would have a defined end and wouldn't end up forever adding features until I'm no longer interested in the project.
I'm thinking to this time start by creating all of the styles, screens, compinents, with hardcored data and navigation.
And only then start populating it wiith real data, backend implementation and so on.
How do you usually start a new project, what approach works for you?

The other day I went to Zara and I saw a printed polyester shirt. My eyes welled up because it reminded me of the shirts you wear to work.
I went to 7/11 and when I was in the cashier I saw cigarette packs you like. All of a sudden I was transported to the moments where I was so excited to go on cigarette errands for you.
I was making marinated korean eggs and when I tasted it the only thing that ran through my mind was “I know he’ll like this so so much”.
When I was with my friends and family I tried to avoid eating hotpot at all cost because that was our comfort food. My favorite food now is now something I can’t enjoy because it’s so painful to eat without you.
You were my comfort, my shelter, my world. I revolved around you. But things have changed. You’re no longer here, we’re no longer together. Why are you still the center of my world?

The lights seem pretty nifty with the ring mode selector. I'm just wondering what people use the color mode for. It seems fun but not very useful, which is totally ok! I suspect there are practical uses that I'm not thinking of though.
