My (48f) niece Julia (23) has always had a rocky relationship with her parents and siblings. Her mom Kathryn (my sister) was pretty hands off when it came to raising Julia. Since Julia was the youngest of her seven kids my sister focused all her attention on the older kids and often forgot about Julia. This put a pretty big wedge in Julia's relationship with her siblings and parents. Since we lived so close to them Julia was often at my house spending time with my husband, myself and my children (24f, 22f and 14f).
Over the years Julia was basically like another daughter to us. We took her on family vacations, we had her over for the holidays and we were the ones throwing her birthday parties. While she didn't live with us my husband and I were the ones raising her. We took her back to school shopping, packed her lunch, took her to school and helped her with homework. We also took her to all her checkups and doctors appointments. We brought her clothes, hygiene products and made dinner for her. We also helped her with college applications when she was applying. We did everything for her.
Recently Kathryn has been trying to come back into her life after five years and Julia doesn't want a relationship with her anymore. Julia and I have talked a lot about this and asked my opinion on what she should do. I told her that if she wanted a relationship with her parents and siblings I would support her and if she didn't I would still support her because at the end of the day it's her choice whether or not she wants them back in her life. She ultimately decided against having a relationship with them and cut them off completely from her life. Now my sister is angry with me telling me that I told her daughter to cut her off but I didn't. So am I wrong for giving my niece advice? Should I have not said anything? My husband and children think what I did was fine but my mom is telling me that I overstepped boundaries so I'm wondering if I shouldn't have said anything at all. I'm just feeling very confused right now and would like some advice on this situation.

Okay so I knowwwwww Shera says that online dating is not the move and I get it, I really do. I usually freestyle but I’ve been busy and it’s freezing outside. I’m very strict and set my preferences on older men that are CEOs and business owners which has worked out pretty well. I say I want a generous gentlemen and I’m happy after I go shopping, listed my job as admin even though I have a nice job. I put a nickname on my profile so I’m really not giving too much. I’m saying this to say he’s not even in town and offering to help me! This is the time for me to ask for help with the tow or repair cost but I’m nervous since I haven’t given my number yet because I was waiting to go out on the date to give him my Google voice number lol. Anyways, I need help leading him off the app to ask him for money to help with my car! This is literally why you’re not supposed to online date but I didn’t think he would ask to help before he met me so here we are. And I just want to say that he put on his profile that he likes taking care of his loved ones financially so he’s game for sure.
