Hey everyone, I’ve been in the market for a 25 Genesis g80 sport prestige, and all I’ve been told by dealerships near me is that they don’t lease well. I’m not sure if I’d want to keep it and wanted to lease in case I wanted to return it. What’s a decent lease deal on one of these? Would I be better off buying it and then trying to trade it in should I not like it? Lease numbers have been all over 1100 per month with 4999 down. I noticed the loan numbers were very similar. Can anyone give me some advice, or is there a broker in here familiar with the brand that has some example numbers they could share? Thank you in advance!

2025.01.23 17:02 arckyart Husband hits snooze for hours
I'm pregnant and so exhausted. My husband works very hard and is always exhausted too. He has a hard time getting up in the morning and always hits snooze at least 4-5 times. I usually never complain about this.
Yesterday I hit a wall. I was so tired I felt like crying and went to bed super early. My husband came home shortly after I got to sleep. Him coming home woke me up, so I stayed up with him for a few hours before going to sleep at the usual time, around 12:30
8am rolls around and his alarms go off. He snoozes them every ten mins until 9 and then gets up. Once he is up, I was able to drift back to sleep. He wakes me up less then ten minutes later saying “its cold out there” and crawls back into bed. Ten minutes later, another alarm, then him telling me he's going to message work to see if he can be late, more alarms until 9:45. He leaves and now I have to get up too, I have work to do too (I WFH and the dog needs me.)
I sent him a message asking if he could at least not come back to bed once he’s up and sleep on the couch for his extra few mins of rest. He says its too cold in the living room. I suggested taking the space heater with him and blankets. He’d prefer to be in the bed. He started getting upset. He then told me he wishes he had my life, that I have it so much easier than him. He’s not wrong, working from home is easier and I work less hours. But I'm making a baby now and sleep is important for its development and for my health. I explained how I'm struggling to get done the bare minimum because I barely have any energy. He ranted about how much his life sucks and he wishes he had the house alone and how I should leave the house more so he has time to himself. I told him he made a poor choice in deciding to have a kid if he wanted more time alone. He is done speaking to me today.
AITAH? Should I have just not said anything?

I’ve mentioned this here a few times, but out of embarrassment I usually delete my posts after a while. So sharing this but it’ll be a bit long because I want to give some back story.
I haven’t been to the PCP since 2019. I was drinking socially, not anywhere near what I was drinking the last year or so. Always clean health, no issues, no medications, Nothing. So 2020 happened, and my doc kept canceling my yearly physical for obvious reasons. I finally got an appointment in early 2021, but I had a 6 week long cold and bronchitis, neg for covid, but they refused to see me due to potential covid. Ok fine. Never rescheduled, and then in 2023 my doc retired. By then I had upped the drinking, gained weight, and my BP was creeping up, so I was burying my head in the sand and making excuses as to why I didn’t have to find a new PCP.
2023 and ‘24 I got out of control with the drinking, and everything was spiraling. I kept telling myself I’d stop, but I never did. Then I got the worst stomach pain ever, I thought my appendix was bursting. Went to urgent care where they said it was just gas (lol) but ran labs and my liver enzymes were high. Again, buried my head.
Fast forward to December 2024, I had a re-evaluation at the chiro and my bp was BAD! I don’t actually think this was the number because it was SO BAD and the girl (secretary at the chiro, not a nurse) but it was like 170/120. I really do not think it was that high, that’s like deadly and I felt fine. I had stopped drinking for a few days then, and decided I just needed to stop and . Called and found a new doctor, set up an appointment and was a nervous wreck leading up to it.
I did stop drinking completely on 1/1, so I was hoping and praying that things would at least be trending towards better.
Went today, FINALLY, and was a complete emotion mess. I was nervous going into it because I had Jo idea how this doctor was going to treat me. I didn’t know what my vitals or labs were going to be. Also haven’t had a pap in like 7 years, so worried about that. Just a complete nervous wreck. But the doctor was sooo kind. Kept congratulating me for making positive steps forward and noticing that I was in a bad place and making changes to get better and healthier. I couldn’t stop crying, I felt so bad that I was unleashing but he was so kind and comforting and on top of That, he has no concerns about my health. I literally could not believe it. My labs haven’t come back but my BP was normal, my liver wasn’t inflamed, and I still need to lose some weight, but I have lost 10 lbs since 1/1 and so obviously that is a step in the right direction.
I feel like I have a new outlook on life right now and I just want to keep moving forward. If you told me on 12/31 that on 1/23 I would have a (fairly) clean bill of health, and that everything is just so positive and looking up, and that I would feel less stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed, I would have laughed in your face.
This was a huge hurdle that I worked really hard for, and I’m just really happy and proud. This group is such a wonderful resource. Now just hopeful my labs are ok, and I can move on with my life.

So I (44 M) have recently been diagnosed with Inattentive type ADHD, well I haven't had any official paperwork yet but I had my assessment with Psych UK and was put on the Tritation waitlist so I have made a slight assumption based on what was said.
I am wondering if I should tell my employer. My wife thinks I should and I work at a University who are, at least appears to be, very accepting of additional needs. I am not sure if they can do anything to help but I guess my manager knowing this might mean they make some allowances. I have told them about the fact I have been on antidepressants for a long time but my work was suffering a little while back so felt I had to, having said that I haven't noticed them treating me differently because of that.

Starting off I’ve been having this nagging cramping and pain in my left side under my ribs, which has been going on for months, and it feels like no one is in a rush to get me to a GI doc. it feels like my stomach cramps really hard then it passes. As of lately though, I have had some really sharp pains in the left side, and this little rash looking thing basically appeared directly where the pain is typically felt. The rash doesn’t itch but typically burns randomly. The GI pain has extended down near my pelvis as of recently as well. I haven’t passed any concerning stools or anything bloody for that matter. I’m now dealing with random bouts of nausea throughout the day. This comes on the tail end of the flu that I had 2 weeks ago to this day. I have had a whole host of medical issues lately which I will go into detail further. Rash below.

Going more into my medical issues as of lately, I have multiple herniated lumbar discs, along with this I’ve been experiencing pain in my groin area and in my penis. This pain can also sometimes be in my anus area as well. I have stiffness in my neck that is undiagnosed as for right now as well that seems to have no discernible trigger as it comes and goes randomly but the pain is enough to give me headaches. I had a neck xray which found nothing. Speaking more to my headaches, I’ve been having a headaches that comes and goes occasionally on the left side of my head, typically and sometimes it’s on the right side.
On top of all of this, random parts of my body will twitch and spasm, particularly in my forearm, left flank, calve, and my eyelids.
I am working through the the VA unfortunately and it feels like no one believes me and I’m just told relentlessly that “this is just stress and anxiety”
I’ve been to the ER a couple of times for these concerns, but they always just take standard labs and tell me “your bloodwork looks good so you should be fine”. At this point I’ve had a chest, neck, and hip xray as well as an abdominal ultrasound, all of which found nothing.
I’m at my wits end here, I’m deeply concerned for my health and I feel as though no one is listening to me or addressing my concerns. I try not to be annoying with my provider but I feel like I’m spinning my tires here as these problems date back almost 4 months. I have always been in great health my whole life, and as of recently it has become deeply concerning. I appreciate anyone’s advice here.

Why won't drivers bring packages up to our apartment? I get over 50 lbs for lifting legal requirements but this was 30 lbs and our apartment is very strict with clearly posted notices not to leave packages in building lobbies and yet FedEx time and time again refuses to bring packages to our door. The lobby is unlocked so it's not a secure location and in my delivery instructions it's clearly stated to bring to the apartment door

2025.01.23 17:02 SnapperCard Espresso machine stuck on 'steam'. Any ideas? [Smeg ECF02]
This machine is a replacement of a replacement (electrical arcing noise - ECF02) of a replacement (constant leaking from the steam nozzle - ECF01). Now today we turn it on and it's somehow gotten stuck on the steam light.
I've unplugged it for hours, looked through the manual, tried pushing other buttons, and turned the steamed nozzle on off etc. We regularly descale the machine.
Does anyone have any ideas before I send another machine back to Smeg?
