Ben made another statement to the press. "Good morning, I hope you all are well. Well, I know what you all were thinking- a government official willingly talking to the press twice in a row? What a strange sight- and it's true. I prefer to talk when I have a lot to say, but right now, I sure have a lot to say.
To begin with, let's turn homewards. I'm sure you've seen Mr. Scribba's article in the Catalyst by now. There are just a couple of things I'd like to say in response. First of all, there is a full plan that will be implemented in response to their implementation, which is close to competition. The only reason that details haven't been further announced is due to not wanting to aggravate this administration more than they clearly obviously are. In addition, this is obviously a highly complicated process, requiring a delicate tango of departments and bureaucracy, and to pretend this can be done on a dime and presented to the whole cabinet immediately is a bit disingenuous to me. I believe that statement harms the reputation of Canada globally, and is untrue, and for that reason I ask Mr. Scribba to take it back.
In addition, attacking me as just writing letters is just disappointing. I have a goal list for this term, which we will get to in a bit, and I will get them done. As for the attack for not immediately heading down to Washington, I'm not quite sure what he was thinking. Besides directing our staff to prepare and making letter contact with the then President elect, what did he want me to do? Talk to the Biden administration, the government that literally had a two week timer? There is no 100% great way to handle the situation, certainly, but I think it's not the right angle to attack me that way- though of course I may be a bit biased on that front.
I will apologize for my lapse of memory that Mr. Scribba served in our Armed Forces. Obviously, I thank all soldiers for their service, including him. Our military is very important to us, and though I have strong disagreements on the military funding issue, it shouldn't call his role as a former soldier into question, so I apologize.
However, I am concerned by the blatant political stunt being pulled here. It's been clear to me, reading the NDP's explanations, that this is solely another action to get headlines and increase polling numbers, more so than out of any concern on policy. I'll give the NDP full credit, their stunts do get attention, that's for sure. I'll never forget the (alleged) amusement park debacle back in my riding. However, is it the best for Canada? I don't think so, and I hope that they consider that in their future actions.
Speaking of, let's talk about our government plans. I realized I could be more open in my plans, so let's talk about some of my efforts this term, more specifically the non-American ones. I hope to collaborate with our Commonwealth friends, especially Australia and New Zealand, both in general and on a specific endeavor- customs and security clearance. This is an area we all lag behind in, and collaboration will be important. I hope to expand our relations with African nations on an equal footing, and to that effect will be traveling to Namibia and South Africa tomorrow. I hope that Canada can fill in as a protector of democratic values in areas that the United States seems to be receding from, such as Ukraine. I know that I will dedicate every day in this term to serving Canada in the world and Centre of Quebec in the House. I work for the Canadian people above all, and I hope my actions will make you proud.

So, I'm 38, Male, a skier, quite adept (I can ski anything in Pennsylvania without much trouble), live in Pittsburgh and generally ski 7S, Laurel Mountain, and Blue Knob - sometimes Timberline and Wisp. I have a handful of friends that ski or snowboard, but it seems like in the past few years, I can't coax any given individual out more than once a year (kids, work, and generally just not being as into it as I am). I generally try to go ten times a season, which leaves me skiing alone a lot of the time. Obviously I'd rather go alone than not at all, but it would be nice to have some company. Anybody else in the same boat? I'm happily married, pretty sociable, and normal enough, despite posting on Reddit for people to ski with.
I joined the Pittsburgh Ski Club a couple weeks ago, and although I expected the median age to be fairly high, I was shocked to see just how old virtually all of the members were when I went to the January Social. There was no one there other than me whose hair was not gray - literally not a one. If we could get a cohort of younger people together to join that club (it's $25 a year, so, very reasonable), that would be great - multiple people told me that they need younger members.

I'm out here trying to contest space, only to look back and see that my team is 500m away from me. Its not like we have placement games and these people started in diamond. They climbed all the way from gold to diamond, and yet they don't even understand the basics of the game.
Not to mention 90% of games are just solo tank with 3 insta lock dps. one of them is always a stupid punisher who has no game sense. Even worse is how racist these people are. Being indian comes with the drawback of easily recognizable accent, you open your mic to comm, to tell them to shoot the backline, and you invite a whole game of racist comments.
Duelists are partially blind, the only think they can see is the tanks, and keep shooting them while healers keep healing them. they don't shoot enemy healers, they don't shoot groot walls, they don't shoot loki clones, they don't shoot namor quids, they don't shoot peni mines, they don't shoot squirrel girl ult, they dont shoot punisher turret. And then they boast how much "damage" they did, while having single digit last hits.
I've yet to get a dive dps in my team that knew what the term means. Not to mention, if the enemy team has a semi decent dive, they'll struggle in a 1v3. I don't wanna peel as a solo tank, i feel like 2 healers and 3 dps should be capable of doing that on their own, because every time I try to peel , we lose space.
Do you wanna know why no one picks vanguard, because playing vanguard sucks and will always suck unless netease change the core gameplay

Each day there is a thin layer of dust on the wood floor. No sure where it comes from. I have to clean it every other day. In addition, I mop the floor twice a month.

2025.01.23 17:36 Novel_Cheetah_557 Water start sizzling when filling the chamber
I've been using my Flair 58+ for a couple weeks and I feel there's something wrong with the whole temperature management.
From many videos it seemed that long pre heating at max setting and pouring close to boiling water is the go-method to obtain, in the end, the right temperature of 93 - 94 C
I've been following this and I've noticed that after pouring some water it begins to sizzle / bubble (have done many combinations of filling method).
I noticed that If I pull the shot with the water that's still bubbling the Flair behaviour becomes herratic.
I've tried to lower the temp significantly, like using only medium heat setting, just a couple minutes of extra heating before adding water, and set my kettle (which I have tested in the past and seemed to work pretty accurately) to 90 X instead, but I still get bubbles few second after I begin pouring. The bubbling last longer than few seconds and I often turn off the heating just to make it stop istabrly (which seems to work but I'm not 100% sure, might be coincidence).
Do you think there's something wrong with my unit?

Would like to run a 21/7 live stream monitor over lan connection without internet access after initial login like TinyCam does but a third-party package that will run on linux or windows with hardware decoding.
KonstaKANG on a Pi doesn't have hardware decoding and runs at very low fps. Rtsp is discontinued and "unsafe" but also breaks Wyze app notifications for that cam. x86 android in a virtual machine doesn't have hardware decoding. Android emulators like BlueStacks and Nox don't have hardware decoding.
