(1) I think Nina Cassady gets too much hate. She wasn't my favorite or anything, but I think she was dealt a bad hand. Van Buren looked down on her from the start and Green never seemed to fully trust her either, that's a tough environment to be in. People say she's the worst character in the show, but I would argue that she's not even the worst junior detective.
(2) Danielle Melnick is overrated. I don't have a problem with the actress, I just don't like how she's portrayed. The show presented her as some huge obstacle to McCoy who knew all of his tricks, but he beat her damn near every time. I'm not saying McCoy had to lose all his cases against her, but at least make it a little more balanced.

Hi everyone, I'm considering a career switch from software engineering to a pilot at the age 33. Finally decided to pursue my childhood dream (while being able to afford it). I am a non European, non American individual who is looking to get a commercial license in Europe. One school I looked at was the "National Flight Center" in Ireland where I can apply for the integrated course that goes on for almost 1.5 years, costs 80k euros and guarantees that I will have a commercial license by the end of it. Does that sound right? Are these usually the parameters of a pilot instruction integrated course? What should I expect after? Will I be able to apply for any aviation position in Europe? Would my nationality be a problem afterwards? And how high would you say is the demand for pilots in general?

Hi, I am making a report in InDesign, and on one of my pages is a map made in Illustrator. Actually, it was created in ArcGIS and post-processed in Illustrator. Since it's a map, it has labels, numbers, and all of the stuff you would see on a map.
I wanted to make my document accessible (read aloud) and I don't know how to do it with this map. Testing it, the reader would read the labels and numbers on the map since it is a vector. Is there a way that the reader would instead read an alt-text as if the map is an image? Like I want to set an alt-text saying 'Map showing place xyz'. Thanks.

Hello everyone, this is my first post, and I want to share a project I've been working on over the past few weeks: creating a fully HDR version of Avatar: The Way of Water.
Reason:
The film is visually stunning, but it lacks a proper HDR version. Its HDR is capped at 203 nits, which essentially makes it an SDR signal inside an HDR container. This limits the platform's potential. Moreover, as far as I understand, the Dolby Vision version uses a "brightness" mode that provides a bright image on compatible screens but lacks depth.
Objective:
To achieve a natural image that resembles native HDR, avoiding artificially oversaturated colors, excessive contrast, or overly bright highlights. The goal is to perform a full HDR conversion that respects the original artistic intent and fully utilizes the wide color gamut that true HDR signals offer.
For a more complete experience, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ metadata will be included for compatible displays. On devices that don't support them, a standard HDR signal will be displayed.
After several days of work, I’ve managed to make it look really good. I’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions.

Hi all, I'm seeing mixed reviews on-line of how to properly clean the nano texture screens on the new macs. I only see the apple forum on cleaning the nano pro displays but I wasn't sure if that's the same screen or material as the macbooks. People have been saying to not use water, some peopel say you can wet the cloth that it comes with. Wondering what exactly I should do because when I try to clean it with just the dry cloth it only seems to get dirtier.

How can you not include an extra port for using both genlock and timecode simultaneously on this camera? We're struggling with workarounds to make both work at the same time! It's absurd.
