2025.01.23 17:34 Late-Flow-4489 Forgot to put water in the bottom chamber--anything to worry about?
Folks,
After waiting longer than usual for my moka to brew this morning, I realized I never added water to the bottom chamber. I took it off the heat, ran it under some room temperature water to cool it down, and then disassembled it.
The gasket came out ok, but was a bit deformed. I've already tossed that and have a replacement on hand.
Anything else I should worry about before using this moka again? Thanks!

The union failed members in 2022 by capitulating without COLA. The union cannot afford to make that same mistake again.
And for those (especially 24s, 27s, and 30s) who say they’re doing ok and it’s not worth striking for - if you can’t afford to live on $650 per week during a strike, how on earth do you expect Clerk 9s to live the rest of the year?
Members need to think long-term, or will continue to fall further and further behind.
Inflation per year for the past 4 years: 2021: 3.4% 2022: 6.8% 2023: 3.9% 2024: 2.4%

Can a faulty flame sensor cause the gas valve from going into 2nd stage. The system is currently running on 2nd stage except for the gas valve not getting 24 volts from H to C. Before it was loosing flame after 5 to 10 minutes of it running now it kicked into second stage but not the gas valve. I'm guessing it's a bad board. The day before I cleaned the flame sensor and it ran for 5 hours. got a callback today not running.

Just finished crying after the worst couple of hours of my life. I felt like no matter how much I studied I would never find the knowledge they wanted to extract for me because no providers are attuned to their ever-changing standards. I can’t believe I put in all of this work for nothing to show for it. The worst part is that I panicked in the middle of the exam and it threw me off the whole entire sit — I second guessed everything I thought I knew. Makes me feel so horrible to be frank.

What helped me during the whole process was chat GPT. Every time I get an email from Sam I would just put it inside a chat GPT and it would tell me what to do. So every time I get an email from Sam or anyone along the process. Chat GPT would tell me the steps to take. Some of the few minor steps that I had was waiting on the IRS to validate my tin for no reason there was a delay was it took 3 weeks to the date for them to validate. Next thing I had was a older LLC that I had ownership in that got dissolved and that came up as a question per sam.gov my good friend chat GPT I wrote the email and told me what to do and now I'm here. So, Harold and The Purple Crayon is up for a Razzie, and it’s not hard to see why.
What I don’t understand is how millions of dollars was poured into such a movie that looks like a flop.
I remember watching the trailer in the theatre and thinking “That movie is not going to break even.”
And yet here we are, living in a world where every highest grossing film of the year (since 1998) is based on existing history/media, or becomes part of a franchise.
I don’t understand why we can’t return to the age of more original material? Do you ever find yourself writing a story and you think: “One and done” No More
I’m just frustrated because I feel like this subreddit has a plethora of (non-fantasy) writers capable of putting together a better story than Harold & Kumar Visit The Peanut Butter Crayon
But instead we’re watching another version of the same Superhero movie every few months.
