Hi Everyone,
I have upgraded to the newest os 23.20.56.
I have also reset my tv fully, and turned off all my ad blocking. With all of this the chromecast option does not show up in the hub. I cannot see anything to do with chromecast in any place on the whole tv. This was the main feature I was excited for on this update. Has anyone else had this issue and fixed it? Is it a big with TVs in certain regions? I am in Canada btw.
Any help would be appreciated.

2025.01.23 17:29 Safe-Influence1551 Devpost glitch?
I'm looking at one of the hackathon devpost pages for a Hackathon I particpated in but when I try to look for the project gallery, I get mixed results.
On google chrome browser it gives me: The hackathon managers haven't published this gallery yet, but hang tight!
But on my brave browser I can easily scroll through all the winning projects.
I am logged into Devpost on both browsers so I'm not sure what the problem is. Does anyone know how to fix this and what this would mean for other people trying to view the project gallery?
Also, I know this is not a coding bug but I couldn't really find any appropriate subreddit to ask for help about this.

Currently undergoing MEPS and I'm in the phase where I have to choose my MOS. My recruiter told me before that the MOS I'm going for which is 17C is available. But now he's telling me they don't have the training dates and they don't have the exam I have to take for the MOS. Now he's offering me 17E which is not what I wanted because I don't think it can give me a good job after the army like 17C. Never been so discouraged and disappointed my whole life man I studied my ass off for 17C. Anyone here can give me any insights bout 17E?

He glanced at the door, mentally mapping the lock, the doorjamb, the half-inch gap beneath. He knew they'd try a direct approach — professionals but not military, which meant they'd rely on force instead of finesse. He also calculated their likely formation. Probably three or four men, with a lead tasked to breach, two in support, and maybe one looking up and down the exterior corridor. They’d bank on outnumbering him, not outthinking him. That was their first mistake. Reacher decided the best plan involved funneling them inside the threshold, breaking up their group so he could handle them one or two at a time. He took a breath and picked up the can of beans — weighty enough to cause damage, small enough to swing fast.
He moved to the side of the door, out of their line of sight if they peered in through the dingy window. He checked the corners for anything else that could come in handy. A coffee maker on the dresser — too big and unwieldy. The desk lamp — light and easily breakable. The can of beans was the best option, more solid than a fist, and metal that wouldn't shatter on impact. If he struck with the right force at the correct angle, it’d be as good as a hammer. He reminded himself to focus on the vital strike zones: temple, base of the skull, solar plexus. A blow to any of those spots would do enough damage to slow an attacker down, maybe knock them out of the fight altogether.
Then the first man forced the door. Reacher heard the deadbolt crack, and he inhaled slowly to keep calm. The door burst open and the intruder — a tall thug with a thick neck — staggered in, scanning left then right. Reacher wasted no time. He slammed the can of beans into the man’s temple, a quick arc from above that put his whole shoulder into it. The thug went down as if his legs had vanished. The second intruder was right behind, an expression that changed from smug confidence to confusion at the sight of his buddy sprawled on the carpet. Reacher drove a stiff elbow into that man’s chest, spinning him around and knocking him off-balance. Another strike with the can to the base of his skull, and he crumpled next to his friend.
By now, the remaining guy — or guys — had to realize something was very wrong. Reacher retreated backward a step, letting them decide how to react. If there was a fourth, he’d hesitate — give Reacher precious seconds to keep the upper hand. Sure enough, a third intruder’s shadow moved outside the doorway. Reacher lodged the door open with his foot, forcing the visitor to enter a narrow gap. Less maneuvering room for them, more advantage for him. The can came up again like a baton, and a precise blow to the third man’s forearm disarmed whatever he was holding: a short baton or pipe. Reacher seized it midair and locked the intruder in a chokehold, using the momentum to slam him to the ground. The man’s head hit the carpet with a muffled thud.
Reacher waited, heart pounding, but no fourth attacker materialized. He heard retreating footsteps in the corridor — someone deciding the odds weren’t worth it anymore. So he stood still, listening for a long moment. All he caught was the buzz of a neon sign outside. Then he let out a breath, wiped the can clean, and set it on the wobbly nightstand. Three men incapacitated, one probably gone. The fight was over. He glanced around the mess, and the squeaking bed, and the battered veneer on the door. Not an ideal situation, but it was survivable. He picked up the phone and dialed the front desk, voice calm, requesting medical assistance and perhaps a broom. When the manager asked what happened, Reacher said only, “Had a little disagreement over a can of beans.”

2025.01.23 17:29 ksupwns33 Games that immediately FEEL special, captivating, and transport you into the game through their Presentation! Menus, music, UI, etc. Early Monster Hunters, Phantasy Star Online, more? Make me feel it in my bones!
Okay, this might not make a ton of sense if you haven't opened these games before! I want games dripping in their own uniqueness when it comes to presentation. Games that are unashamed. Games that you hear that sound/see that aesthetic and you're there and ready to play. Games where even the loading screens have a way of making you want to be in the game world and interacting with all of it!
I implore you to just look up the launch sequence of Phantasy Star Online of dreamcast/gamecube fame.
The SOUND this game makes as the music swells and you select to start a new game or continue. The sounds the UI makes as you scroll, the chunky weightnyess of the clicks, the MUSIC, the interactive loading screen! And once you're in the actual game, the menu design, hub world, all of it just fits and drips with this aesthetic. Incredible. It makes the game so much more. The composers behind this game are IMO the actual goats.
The same goes for most Monster Hunter games, especially the earlier ones. Go through the new game->character creation in MH Freedom Unite. The fonts, the art around text boxes, the loading screens, the unabashed cutesy weirdness of palicos, the Pokke Village music as you start your new adventure, the MH language, the fact there's an actual farm you have to go to, to farm, and manually do those tasks, and upgrade it over time, it all just DOES IT for me. There's nothing like it. And though the new games definitely have charm and I do absolutely love them, they lost the it factor around/after MHTri, as it became more main stream and attempted to be less "weird" and in my opinion lost some of it's special ~feel~ in the name of smoother player experience/more AAA mass appeal (which I'm glad for, the world needed to finally see MH!!!)
So basically, just give me the games that transport you into them. That magnetically suck you right in. It's the outer elements that can really make a game special and I'm looking to find more of these types of game.
Some honorable mentions:
Disco Elysium- amazing music, those horns teleport me straight to Kim's side, and the art is incredible, the voice acting so unique
Halo 1-3 - the menus, etc, aren't as good but the music and art style of the first couple!!
Cyberpunk 2077 - somehow still kind of underrated for how unique it's style and presentation is
Star Wars Battlefront 2 - again with the menu noises and music! Love galactic conquest mode, love the sound design

Hey so our forklift at work (Hyundai 50L) has a pedestrian camera that has been working fine other than the colour going almost black and white the last little bit. This morning it is entirely black and white, with the display upside down and the settings in Korean. Also where as it would turn on with the forklift you now need to hit the power button to turn it on. Anybody know the navigation for language settings and/or how to prevent this in the future?
Any helps appreciated!

Pads are expensive, especially for people struggling financially. In that sense, reusable pads are helpful- but the cleaning can be annoying when you're almost homeless or homeless. So what if reusable menstrual pads were easier to care for in situations like this?
Would you consider using a reusable menstrual pad if there were an easy and portable way to clean and dry it without any contact with blood?

I have applied to these colleges so far: IMTG, XIMB, GLIM (in round 3), GIM & MICA ( totally depends on how I perform in micat 2).
Please tell me what other colleges I can apply to by keeping the financial aspect in mind. I can't afford to take very huge loans for an average placement ( like in IMI Delhi and TAPMI )
