I'm going to get straight to the point first and then break it down afterwards. I. Theory On March 19th the Bank of Japan will raise rates another 25 basis points. This news will break after hours on March 18th local time. This is the rate hike that will break the camels back. The BoJ will raise rates tomorrow (tonight in US time zones) but this hike won't have the market crashing effect that you expect. Markets may bleed and fall a few percentage points, but they'll bounce back quick. America will continue to pump for the next 2 months until SPX hits 6400 - 6600. On the very same day that BoJ raises rates at their March meeting, GameStop will release the most bullish annual report that we've seen in 7 years. We'll have $.20+ EPS and $50-$100M in profits. The annual report will also be released after hours on March 18th, coinciding with the rate hike news. With this news, GameStop will begin pumping to the next level. This scenario is the fire emoji. As the carry trade unravels in the weeks following the March rate hike, GameStop will be inversing the market and rising. Negative beta to the moon. This will continue until something breaks, or explodes, causing GME to soar to the next level between $45 - $55. It will consolidate in that range for about 1 week until it happens. Giga Squeeze 2.0. Price target = Just up. Cheers everybody. I know we don't like to do dates but I think the $45 week and the Squeeze 2.0 week will occur between April 1st - April 17th. II. Charts Below is an image comparing the current weekly chart with the weekly chart leading into 2021. Where my crosshair is on Monday November 2, 2020 is where I believe we are right now in the algorithm. You can see the RSI and MACD lining up nicely. In other words, I believe my theory to be the worst case scenario. If it does come sooner, then this January rate hike would be the one that breaks the camels back. Meaning this rate hike would be the fire emoji. Which means you could push the entire timeline up. If I'm wrong, and we are at the orange box, then where my crosshair is would be a good idea of where we currently sit. This too looks pretty compelling on the RSI and MACD. I don't really want to give dates for this scenario just in case that its wrong, but if we keep tracking like this then that would put $45 - $55 week as the week after February OPEX. And then Squeeze 2.0 being the first week of March. I'M NOT ADVOCATING THE BUYING OF SHORT TERM OPTIONS AS IF THIS SCENARIO IS FACT! ESPECIALLY FAR OUT OF THE MONEY! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN AND ITS BETTER TO BUY FEWER OPTIONS WITH A FURTHER EXPIRATION THEN ALOT OF OPTIONS THAT CAN END UP WORTHLESS. IV. Tinfoil Fun Because who doesn't love some good conspiracy. Now, I don't know about you, but I saw DFV's tweet last night as being 1:01 long. Now it shows 1:00. I'm not sure which is right. But I will say that there's 101 days between January 9th and April 20th. April 20th is also the 110th day of 2025 (thank you Farm of Butts). I've also seen posts about him changing the song so that the lyrics "The time will come when all the waiting's done" occur at the 28 second mark. Could this mean January 28th? Or the 28th day out of 101 total days, which would mean February 6th. A February 6th return? Or a February 6th tweet? I don't know. But 2/6 is the reverse of 6/2, which is when DFV did his port reveal (thank you Bartuc). I also found it extremely relevant that he included January 2, 2000 in the beginning. Why would he feel the need to include this? Well, as you may have seen, two days later on January 4th, 2000 the market tanked. And two days after DFV's tweet last night will be Friday. That will be the first trading session after the Bank of Japan makes a rate decision tonight. Could he be hinting that we can expect a flash crash tomorrow? I too found it really interesting including the verbiage in the last earnings report regarding not having any plans of an ATM during the current fiscal year. But the truth is that since we didn't see $45 - $55 this week, the odds of us squeezing next week are extremely slim. But you never know! Remember, you could always buy further dated options and then roll them forward once we get to the $45 - $55 week. In DFV's YouTube thumbnail you see the guy pointing to the GoT candle and the mayhem which we all assume represents the BoJ arguing over the rate hike. I think this is basically equating the two as being equal or the same. So GoT candle = carry trade blowing up. He also includes the candle on the piano in one of his first tweets (GoT piano tweet) which is how we know his tweets are meant to be read in reverse. The candle is the fire emoji. Another thing to consider, after his Dog Days Are Over tweet we get the Gangs of New York and Ludacris "When I move you move" tweet which is also at the beginning of his tweet montage (thank you Squirrel). "Well well Monk, are you with us or not? For the last time Vallon, I'm with you if the money is right". Isn't there a monk in DFV's YouTube thumbnail too? Could each notch represent $10 over the $120 peak from 2021? In between the Dog Days are Over and Gangs of New York, we get a Wiz Khalifa song followed by a scene from Drive. Could the Wiz Khalifa song represent everyone thinking we're sailing off into the sunset as January 28th approaches only to veer of the exit to take another route? These tweets are also at the beginning of his tweet montage just like the GoT piano. V. TLDR Squeeze by April 17th. Covering happening between 1/09 and 4/20, ending in a climax. BoJ 25bp rate hike tomorrow followed by another 25bp hike in March which is the one that breaks the camels back. Or no rate hike tomorrow and a 50 bp hike in March.
