2025.01.23 19:01 PatientConfusion6341 Why was I charged twice for a balance I paid last Friday?
I’m a little confused and mad about this whole situation but last Friday when I got paid I put down $400 to pay off some of the balance, that was on the 17th and I can see on my account it has the ‘thank you - internet payment’. I didn’t purchase anything until the 21st, my balance showed the $400.
Yesterday I made another payment of $328 and that went through fine but I was negative by $-400 on my bank account despite having the money so I was confused. I already called my bank and they’re going to put in a claim, I called discover and they said they resubmitted the payment twice because of insufficient funds I had on the 17th but I got paid that day and had enough to cover it.
Now i’m seeing the “represented internet payment” as well as a charge for a check return. I’ve never really had this happen before and all my transactions are usually smooth.

My 16 month old is around 33” tall and 24 lbs. He still wears his 12 month clothes but they’re getting short on him. He can even wear 6-9 month pajamas from Target very comfortably. I’m struggling to find clothes that have a 12month waist but 18 month length. Or something adjustable. Most of the time, he wears 18 month Nike jumpsuits or 12 month long sleeve onesies with 18 month sweatpants that I tighten as much as I can but eventually they start sagging off his diaper.
He mostly wears Little Sleepies, Carters, and Target brands right now.
What clothing brands tend to have adjustments for waists, or run taller and slimmer?

Hello, I myself see me as a medium and have often paranormal experiences which never endanger me but they are there. But today i am overwhelmed and i find nothing on google and i wonder what it was. It was around 07:40 am when i was waiting for my taxi to work in the hallway of my house. And all of a sudden i saw outside through the glass door of our houde a bowned thick buckled Figur running past my house with a light infront of it in a gold i never saw before. I rushed out anf opened the door but no one was there. To explain . There is just a wall towards the house door. So no way of a car or a window could have coused this . Than my mom opened the flat door just seconds after and asked why i rang the flat doorbell aggressively but i did not .... i wad outside. Can someone help mr what that could have been ? It gave me a paranormal feeling but neither fear nor cold . Just the happenings anf the thing i saw . Best wishes

TDLR: Is getting a kindle and then kindle unlimited worth it? (Does it have enough popular titles or would I pay for the popular ones?)
I read a lot in high school and am getting back into it. I am someone who loves the physical book in my hand but there are so many books that I might read once and not keep. I don’t have room for a library yet (ultimate goals).
What kindle is worth it for basic just want to read and take anywhere with me?
- yes I know there are libraries you can get books for free. I am notorious for being late to get fees to basically pay for the book in the end. So I try to avoid getting library books 🙃

It’s been a bit but I’m making a return to RP after a good long break! I am currently looking for partners who are interested in Long Term Romance focused Roleplays. Everything from dark, twisted, and taboo to more light and fluffy options as well. Given that the type of RP I am looking for is Romance focused NSFW content will be present, for this reason I would prefer to find someone 25+ years of age or even better a bit closer to my own age (34). That said I will not RP with anyone younger than 18. Thanks for understanding
My ideal partner is someone who is very detailed and creative. Someone who is descriptive in their writing and able to build an immersive story with me. World building is one of my absolute favorite parts of a RP so if your idea is to rush past the set up and jump straight in I won’t be the right partner for you. While I don’t have any requirements as far as how many words or paragraphs each reply must be I don’t like lazy writers so please no one liners. I Roleplay exclusively in 3rd person past tense and my normal replies are generally around 2 - 5 paragraphs depending on scene and how much detail is needed at any given moment. I’m certainly no master at spelling and grammar so I don’t expect my partner to be but again no lazy writers. I like to feel immersed in the world.
I’ll also appreciate those who are understanding of schedules. I work full time and can’t always reply right away but I will always get back asap. We all have lives which is completely understandable and if you ever don’t have time I’m always up to chat OOC as well and make a new friend!
The last thing is discord is a hard requirement so please keep that in mind. And bonus points to those who are willing to share or play multiple characters or supporting characters
As far as ideas go I have several that I really enjoy and I would be happy to share them. At the moment I am more interested in really dark story’s so if that sounds like you even better!
I do not do sci fi, fantasy ( anything with magic), super natural, or fandoms. I prefer original characters, worlds, and plots though SOME exceptions may apply

I'm a new teacher setting up my first classroom. I teach 3d printing, coding, and hardware design classes.
What's some solarpunk decorations I can put up? I'm hoping for the optimism, and the innovation ideas that are inherent in solarpunk. Bonus points if it inspires my kids to think about solarpunk as a viable design methodology.
I'm thinking posters like in that old hand-drawn sci-fi book cover stye, kind of atompunk-ish, "The City of the Future!" kind of stuff, but I'm sure this community has a ton of good ideas to get the kids thinking in a more Solarpunk frame of mind.
