I'm currently in the process of being diagnosed with narcolepsy or IH and this process has been exhausting on its own. I am a very anxious and nervous person by default.
I was in a car accident about a month or so ago, not high speed but my car was totaled and it was not my fault. I mention this in case it's related to my new symptoms. As I've gotten older more obvious symptoms have appeared starting in high school until now ranging from being tired all the time to hallucinating to dreaming incredibly vivid scary dreams nearly every time j go to sleep and I never sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time. I'm literally exhausted.
Recently I started having this thing happen where when I stand up and go to walk from sitting or laying that my vision goes black and I can't use my hands and now my legs have begun to buckle beneath me causing me to fall. I of course googled it and Google said low blood pressure but none of the remedies have worked. I'm just stuck waiting for my doctor's appointment next week and honestly my anxiety is through the roof rn.
I guess I just wanted to come here and see if that is what cataplexy feels like to anyone? Hoping it's just blood pressure cause that's way easier managed but the last thing I need is another diagnosis and more meds in my life. I don't have insurance so the only thing I'm waiting for is my injury settlement so I can afford insurance for the sleep tests. My doctor feels strongly that I need it so I can get one meds and try and live a better and less exhausting life.
Sorry I just felt like I needed to vent somewhere and maybe seek advice on how you guys deal with your symptoms when you couldn't get meds approved yet and maybe that will help me get through till this period of my life is over and I can hopefully get the help I need.

So last night was my first time using the Lilly Direct vitals instead of the auto injectors. I'm on my second month of 5mg. I also tried injecting in my belly instead of my thighs as I'd done with the injectors. Holy crap!
It is the same exact medicine as what's in the injectors right? Cuz man did I have some side effects from that. Nothing really severe but by comparison to my almost zero side effects since my first injection of 2.5, it was rough. About an hour after the injection I started to feel slightly woozy/lightheaded, like I get when I have a bad fever. Then really drowsy. Wake up this morning still with the wooziness and lightheadedness and a few hours later, feeling something like hot flashes followed by mild all over body aches.
I've read posts about injecting in different sites and the difference in efficacy and side effects but geez! I didn't expect this.
Speaking of efficacy, someone talk me down here cuz I decided to stay on 5mg for a while(with some advice from people on here and the ok from my doc), partially due to having difficulty with insurance but also because I thought I had a lot of success on it. Five pounds down between my 1st and 2nd shot of 5mg and another 6 pounds between my 2nd and 3rd shot. After that, nothing, but I haven't weighed myself yet to see the results from the week after my 4th shot.
I understand I'm not constantly gonna lose big amounts like that but I also am feeling like the appetite suppression isn't working as well. I'm sure I'm not back to eating the amounts I did before but I'm feeling less full and/or not staying as full for as long as I was for the first 6 weeks or so. For now, I have to stick with 5mg until I meet my deductible and my insurance company pulls their heads out of their butts.
But I was freaking elated with how things had gone up until these last couple of weeks between the things I just mentioned and the insurance problems. Just trying to keep my head up and hope for good results from the appeal but it'll probably be weeks before I hear back.

id like to build a new PC with a budget of maximum 2k€(rather keep it under). I´ve read some posts here but they can get pretty specific so i´ll just post mine and hope u can help me. I got a couple of questions regarding the components, i heard the 4070 super is pretty good in terms of price to perfomance and the ryzen 7 7800X3D has really good reviews, is that true? Also i guess its not recommended to use old ram(i have some corsair ddr4 4x8gb 2133mhz)? And how much impact does the storage component have on the pc? Are there any specifies where u need to look for, i upgraded my old pc with a samsung 970 evo plus m2-2280 which i can still use as a second ssd or should i rather not use it? I also have no clue how the other components syngergise with each other motherboard etc. Hope someone can help me, thanks already!

My daughter is 23 yrs old and has a new desire to go to church and grow in her faith. She has been invited to join a young adults group, but my issue is developmentally she is about 13 yrs old and will never progress beyond that, and is vulnerable to influence. How can I let her live and also keep her safe? I want her to be able to have friends at church, but have already had an experience where an adult tried to take advantage of her and I had to intervene to save her. It is my job to keep her safe. How do I do that and also let her live? She obviously can’t hang out with 13 yr olds. That would also be inappropriate. Has anyone else navigated this before? What safe guards did you put into place to keep your child safe? Please help!
