Hi everyone,
I was hoping that someone might have some thoughts on these results.
I’m hoping to get some insight on my daughter’s one-year-old kitten, who’s been unwell. The kitten has been intermittently vomiting anything she tries to eat for about a week. She’s always had a good appetite and would usually scarf down her food.
My daughter first took her to the vet on Friday, where she was given an antiemetic and IV fluids, but unfortunately, that didn’t seem to help. She went to another vet yesterday, and while they ran various tests, they weren’t able to determine the cause.
We have called multiple specialists for further testing, but so far our soonest appointment is in 2 weeks. I'd take her to another vet, but its getting expensive and we aren't well off by any stretch of the imagination. The first vet cost $200 and the second a little over $600. Also, they charged my daughter for Clavadrops and never gave them to her.
Right now, she's doing okay, but is having problems eating. My daughter is trying to give her wet food, but the kitten wants dry food. She has thrown up twice with a little blood. Yesterday she was full of energy. It's sad because her sister can tell something is going on. I hope it can be managed and isn't terminal.

 | Hey everyone! Recently adopted two kitties, and they are growing really fast!! I never had cats before, so everything is new. Today i noticed one of the cats back is kinda curved when he is standing still on all legs (check the photo). Is this normal? I don't see anything else different. He eats, drinks, plays, and mostly, he sleeps ehehe. He used to be like these when we got him, two months ago. He was so small, and probably scared at the time, but i don't see any reason to be scared anymore, he loves cuddles and to be around us! Maybe he was like this before and i never noticed... My blomberg dishwasher is stuck on evacuating water - when I start a program, it makes noise and gets warm, but is stuck on this mode and never progresses to actually filling up with water and washing the dishes.
I realized that it's probably stuck on some function that is meant to remove all remaining water before starting the program. I opened the door and pressed the latch to make it operate as if the door is closed, and any water I pour into it is pumped out, but the noise from the pump never stops. It's like it always thinks there's water in there.
I don't remember why, but I tilted it up and some water came out the back of it, and after doing that the dishwasher would work fine again for another run, after which it would return to the behavior I described.
Any suggestions on how to fix the issue?

So, my father listens to JRE, and I hate it. Now, listening to this I decided to be a Googledebunker. He's talking about some stupid "archeological" site (it's just a naturally formed stone wall) and as it's playing I'm researching all i can about it. Now, there's little to no discussion about it (it's the Sage Wall btw) but I could find a few posts, on reddit and off, that talk about it and (aside from posts by alt history groups that all say "just look, it can't be a natural formation") anyone with actual knowledge on geology agree that it's just a natural granite formation. And I feel 1. Proud, I did my own research and debunked it and 2. It shows how easy pseudoarchology is to show is bs. Anyway, sorry for rant, its kinda related to Milo, but mostly it's just anger at people who spread misinformation.

2025.01.23 23:05 jamesholden68 Runaway Mold - Noob Mistake!
I watched a few videos about mining runaway mold, and I found a "deposit" on a planet, built a base with a teleporter and spent some time bouncing between the site and my freighter. Soon I had 60k nanites and was able to upgrade my hauler to an S - awesome. Today I went back, did a harvest, thought "if there wasn't such a slope here, these balls would be easier to manage and wouldn't role away so fast" so I used my terrain manipulator to flatten the spot, then went back to my freighter and then warped back to the farm...you probably know where this is going - only 1 ball had returned! In flattening the terrain I had destroyed the place they were spawning. Ugh. Lesson learned, and in the future I'll used the terrain gun to dig a trench or build a wall to slow the role.

2025.01.23 23:05 Suddenspike First time player, add DLCs or start plain simple?
I have just bought Stellaris plus few DLCs (Utopia, Federations, Distant Stars and Synthetic Dawn).
I'm new to this game and I don't know if installing all DLCs will change the game overall or they can be enable/disable singularly in the dashboard. A lot of people said Utopia is a must to have, but do I have to add it from my first game or is it better to understand the fundamental of the game and after add it? What about the other three DLCs?
In general, the DLCs change the game mechanic or they "only" add extra stuff (i.e races, ships, planets, etc.) but the rules remain the same?

So yeah as title says. Is there anything but cheaters in the game? Feeling like playing ranked is absolutely idiotic right now. Facing Helas doing nothing but headshots and punishers shotgun auto aim like crazy. They playing like 30/1 and no one calls them out?? It's crazy to me.
How you all feeling. Would be interesting to hear from some of the cheaters also!
