 | Hey lads.... I'm 31 and these last few months I've been always thinking about my thinning hair since my barber told me to stop using hair gel everyday because it affects hair loss. There's obvious signs of thinning when it's wet or has gel, two years ago i used to be able to slick my hair back with gel and there was heaps, now there's nothing. I've been researching solutions and found that Minoxidil may be my best bet before it gets worse.... Otherwise I'll wait till it gets real bad and start a hair system, aka toupee. Yesterday night, my elderly mother answered the door for a girl in a SickKids vest and blue lanyard over a plain winter coat. She proceeded to ask about donating, and was very polite. She stepped inside to register personal information on her iPad, and called a man who introduced himself as 'Andrew'. Andrew proceeded to ask for her credit card information and said that the donations were monthly. My mother told me that she wasn't told that donations were monthly, and just agreed because she didn't want to be impolite. She told them her credit card information, and the girl left. She mentioned this to me when I came to visit today. I'm a bit worried, since there has been news of people pretending to be SickKids canvassers, but were actually scammers. My mother is one of those ladies that comment 'amen' on Facebook AI art. The whole thing just gave me a bit of an uneasy feeling. Has anyone else had this happen recently?

Got accepted EA and didn't apply ED for the sole reason of i couldn't guarantee i could afford it. I had a feeling this would happen and I'm bummed. I got in EA with 15k merit scholarship and I'm expected to pay $60k a year after "aid" (they gave me unsubsidized loans)
I know others are in the same boat and the sad answer is we just can't attend. I just wanted to voice my disappointment as AU was really where I wanted to be, just sucks I can't go. I'm super fortunate I got a state school to attend that's very good but still, sad shit. Congrats to all those who can attend AU, go do amazing things :)

So I took possession of my apartment on November 21st. I couldn’t move down to the country until December 10th - but initially came December 11th. I did however go back home to Canada for 2 weeks around Christmas, and came back December 31st..
Ohio Edison told me that 1. They can’t release the power used, as it’s in my landlords name until I get my notary signed (getting that done tomorrow) 2. That because they work on a “30 day cycle”, I would be charged the previous tenants power usage prior to November 21st?? Is that even legal??

Given that small mid caps have historically outperformed large caps, what would be the benefit of choosing VOO over VTI?
