Hi, I’m a current freshman student at a T10 university and got 2 internship opportunities, one as a Software Engineer at Aptiv and in Ally Financial. However the position in Ally kinda seems like it’s not pure SWE but idk as the job description lists it as Enterprise Technology Operations(Software Engineer, AI and Analytics). I need to decide on which company to intern at and which company will be best for obtaining future internships. I would really appreciate if you could provide some insights.

Heck, there are even some doctors who are in admin positions they're not even qualified for pero dahil may kapit sa mga city leaders, edi ayon nasa kung ano-anong admin position at di naman nagagawa ang trabaho nang maayos. Ang ending -- sacrified patient care, nagsisiraan ang mga doktor. Nakakadismaya. Bakit ganito ang mga doktor sa public hospital ngayon?
Nandyan din ang issue ng job security. Hindi naman lahat plantilla position. No matter what continuing or further studies you do, kahit mag Masters ka pa, pero if may ayaw sayo, hihilahin ka rin pababa. MO3 pa nga lang ang hirap nang iplantilla from contractual. Application to MO4 (not MS position) daw ay kailangan pa ng residency -- is this true? Nonetheless, is this really how low we've become?
There are really lots of things that need to change in the culture of medicine. Hay.

Just noticed these red little bumps under my tongue (not on the underside of my tongue but the space underneath on the mouth floor) and not sure how long they’ve been there. They kinda look like burst blood vessels but they do not hurt and are not bloody to the touch. I can’t find anything online about it so any insight is appreciated as it’s freaking me the fuck out. Good evening. I’m investigating soldering my guards now and have found some very nice flux core tin silver solder. Conventionally, you would use normal solder with solder paste and the solder pushes all the paste out of the joint and prevents remnant corrosiveness. May be a stupid question but - would the flux core still achieve this or would there be some remnant corrosive flux trapped due to it being the core?

It’s so infuriating that anything I do is a personal failure against me in general, but anything they do is like a powerful learning moment that my parents are so fucking willing to help them through.
For example, I have a car that has yet to get the insurance set up, but I’m also not using it right now for that same reason bc I don’t wanna be pulled over, but my parents are on my goddamn ass and treat it like I’m completely failing at life. Meanwhile, my sibling today, got PULLED OVER and handed a ticket for driving without insurance, and my parents worshipped the fucking ground they walked on when they came home to tell us about it! Like they did not fucking care it had happened, just that my sibling had told them about it before they had even remedied the issue.
I’m just so tired of feeling like I’m never going to be good enough, and that they are the picture of a golden child. It makes me resent them even though logically I know it isn’t their fault. Idk I just feel like I have no one in my corner and I’m all alone.

Context: 2 year lesbian relationship, serious plans of moving and marrying and all that, deliberately got dumped out of the blue, we talked about getting back together after a month, she was very hot/cold, I eventually said no, 2 and a bit years later I'm posting this. As far as I'm aware, I've moved on from everything appart from being confused with her behaviour (as in it didn't make sense, I'm not looking for hope or something).
I know everyone goes through their own processes after a breakup but I'm a bit concerned.
It's not like I was chomping at the bit, head over heels with every lass I saw before my ex. But I at least had a celebrity crush and, after 2 and a bit years, 1 real life crush. But it's been years of nothing.
No crushes, no feelings, no desire to date, not even some sort of "she looks good" or "she's attractive". I just feel bored. I want a relationship but I can't get over this bordom. My friends said to put myself out there and maybe that'll spark something but girls chat to me and I think "when can I get on with my chores?" I've even been offered sex and I just thought "I can't be bothered, I'd rather do some reading".
Is this normal? Is there something I'm meant to be fixing here? What's going on?

I’m doing my first re-read, and didn’t recall this from the first time around, but I feel this was one of the most surprising and abrupt ends to a character in the series, and partially because it felt very underdeveloped and half baked.
One or two chapters before he dies at the hands of Thraxa and Victra, we are told people believe him to be even better than Aja, who felt invincible. And then boop he’s dead. And his death story is told through Lysander watching video. It feels so far removed from the action and undeserving of a character that was apparently the best swordsman since at least Lorn.
I guess we have to assume he was outnumbered the whole time, and just committed to his mission and would not retreat, because no way in hell would Aja lose a 2 on 1 fight against Thraxa and Victra.
I love this series so much, it is a masterpiece to me, and this revelation on my re-read doesn’t make me love the series any less. It’s just the first time I’ve felt like I was left wanting more from a character, because we get so much from so many others, that it stands out.
