Ive been boarding for a few years, I know how to land softly with most falls and not injure myself but over the last 2 seasons ive had a few really really bad falls on my tailbone. The hills near me are REALLY icy and don’t get much snow so during the season catching a heel edge suddenly and slamming on my tailbone at higher speeds hasn’t been fun, especially in the park too 😂😅
I don’t need much protection other than my tailbone as I’m good falling 90% of the time, but I’m really scared to injure myself seriously as I also just got out of a surgery last year and this is my first season back riding full time, I was looking at impact shorts but also was looking at the demon AZZPADS d30 and wondering if anyone has good recommendations. I looked at some impact shorts on Amazon but the tailbone protection looked sub par.

i have a bachelor of science in applied biological sciences and a bachelor of science in psychology, and i’m starting medical school in august. i also did a year of computer science in college before dropping out (to pursue med school), and i still love learning new programming languages and algorithms and using them to create programs and implement them into my own projects. i’m also a polyglot (english, french, german, russian, hebrew, ASL).

It was a hard morning in our household. One of the kids woke up cranky. I went to toast my gf bread for a lunch sandwich. The loaf is less than a week old. It was already moldy on the last 2 pieces. As I threw them away, I realized I was throwing out over a dollar worth of bread in 2 small, sad slices. I wanted to cry. Stupid celiac disease. Stupid expensive products that usually taste like disappointment. Stupid bread that's either super dry or goes moldy in a few days.

I feel mentally okay but physically awful—like, I understand what’s happening to me, but I just can’t stop feeling this way. Psychoeducation helped me understand what’s going on, but I’ve reached a point where the biological side is taking over my rational side, and I don’t know how to move forward.
Does this mean I’m getting better, in the sense that I understand the illness?

Hello all! so to start this off I M22 and the girl i am currently seeing F20 have been together roughly 3 months. We generally get along well and love to spend time together even with our distance. Well i noticed early on she shared alot with her cousin which is also her best friend. No real problem there, the issue then becomes when that cousin learned of us she sent me a message threatening me if i ever did anything to hurt her, which i have nothing to fear since im not like that but still stood out. Then during almost every date the cousin would call her about SOMETHING even the smallest things which gf happily picks up and answers and then is trapped in phone hell for at least half an hour with this cousin and then complained about after for taking so long. I definitely dont blame her for sharing me and her life. im flattered actually, but i can tell with every interaction this cousin just does not like me and feels like she is trying to get in between us. Well fast forward to our last date, we had sex. To preface this im not big on physical touch and sexual stuff but she loves it so yk I just kinda go with the flow. WELL maybe 2 or 3 minutes after we finish up she gets a call and i can hear over the phone its that cousin and well gf texted her that we just had sex and that cousin was not too pleased but kinda just made some sly remarks. Heres where my question comes in, AIO in that i feel like something that should have stayed private go shared within not even a day of it happening? Im not the most sex positive person out there so i may just be ignorant on the matter but i feel kind of hurt that our intimate moment got laid all out for someone that doesnt even like me.

I've been going through UGlobe B/B questions, untimed. Worked my way up, and I've been doing 59Q sections for about two weeks now. Bad things is that I always tend to take about 1h45m with each 59Q section, and my scores are always around 55-60%. Would love to know how you guys are getting more of these questions right and reducing the overall time. I have been trying the flowchart method but still working on getting better at that.

Also sidenote - slightly starting to get worried about not doing so great on these UGlobe questions and how that correlates to AAMC FL performance. I'm supposed to take my first AAMC FL next month. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated as well.

So I haven't bought tickets in years from Ticketmaster, but today I bought some via Live Nation for my son (Glokk40spaz). Afterwards it says to download Live Nation app, which he did, but when I go to Live Nation online it says to download Ticketmaster app so we did that too. We can see the tickets minus a barcode & now it says to add to digital wallet. Does it matter the app? I know from posts on here the barcode can show up later.
*Note: we previously bought the tickets through Ticketmaster last month but the concert was postponed so we canceled & repurchased the tickets. The canceled ones did have a barcode for The Regent Theater. This is a different venue too.

Hi all, Just wanted some perspective and input from y'all. I'm from Louisiana and that's where my family is from and settled as well. For context: I converted to Islam, got married to a Muslim man from another country (he's been here 8 years though and is assimilated really well, highly educated working in an engineering field etc), and moved to California afterwards. Anywho, he wears thobes usually. For those that aren't familiar with what a thobe is, it's those traditional outfits you'd see on a man in Dubai for example, or like a middle eastern sheik. It looks like a dress as it goes down to a man's ankle but the shape is boxy so it looks more like a cotton night gown. I'd like to visit my parents in Baton Rouge soon and I'm sure I'll take him to other areas as well. He wears regular western style clothes when we do visit but I'd like him to begin wearing whatever he wants (which is the thobe) no matter where we are. However, not if it threatens his comfort, safety, or hostile public attention towards him. Do y'all think south Louisiana people in general can handle seeing a bearded Muslim man in a long robe out and about without staring too hard or making it uncomfortable? Or is it not a good idea and I should just tell him to wear pants and a shirt? He really is the whole Muslim package so to speak, the beard, the thobe, and his complexion is darker. I also wear hijab so it's just a double whammy perhaps. Thanks for reading!
