So I really don’t know what this room was originally designed for, but the son of the owner said it was where he kept his guns and ammo. There is a drain pit that goes about 3 ft to a stone bed and a hose that comes through the exterior wall routed to the drain but I’ve never seen any water transmission over the 2 years I’ve lived here and we’ve had wicked rain storms in that time. The door is heavy steel and there is no handle on the inside. The vent on the inside is blocked off with thin ply wood on the side going to the main basement. The ceiling is what I can only describe as an upside rock bed cemented into a mosaic. The dimensions are roughly 9’by6.5” and there is already a short wall that could be a bench if I remove the shelving. It has a single 110 electric Line feeing the light in the room but I should be able to get 220 there and my service box is only 10 ft away from the menacing door. I’ve been using the room for storage this far but after renting an air b&b for a week that had a nice sauna I’m hooked and it seems like a perfect solution for the space.
My biggest concerns are the cost of framing and lining with cedar and the issue of venting the room properly and if it’s an issue to vent into the main 2500 sq ft basement.
Does this seem like a viable space? I would prefer a traditional steam sauna but would infrared be a better option? If the finished room is 8lx6wx7h what would be an appropriate heat source?

Vou ser muito breve, nunca tive uma relação muito boa com a minha mae e quando fui morar com o meu pai se iniciou um ciclo, no qual ela falava comigo uma vez por mês, as vezes eu visitava ela e ate que era legal, porém quando eu voltava ela só ignorava minha existencia ate a proxima vez que eu fosse ver ela. Aconteceram muitas coisas em um período específico quando morei com ela, eu estava com fobia social e nao conseguia sair de casa, eu tinha crises de pânico só de pensar em sair de casa, houveram varias vezes que fiquei sem água ou sem comida. A alguns dias eu parei de tomar meus rémedios e estava na casa dela, entrei numa loucura de que ela tinha que sofrer alguma consequência por nao ter me ajudado muitas vezes quando precisei, e peguei 500 reais dela que estava guardado e gastei, acabei voltando pra casa e voltei a tomar meus remedios de novo e e caiu a ficha do que eu fiz, ela descobriu e agora nao vai mais me ajudar a pagar minha faculdade, to desesperada procurando um trabalho pra conseguir pagar ela, e tentar pagar o curso mas eu sei que nao vou conseguir. (eu peço que sejam gentis pois nao estou bem da cabeça e so precisava desabafar de algum jeito)

2025.01.24 00:46 eerie-eclipse Are Petco fish genetically inferior?
I'm curious if they're as genetically healthy as a hobbyist/more ethical large scale breeder or if there's not much of a difference when it comes to fish? I don't mean whether or not they'll come with a curable sickness but whether or not they're maybe more likely to have a weak immune system or other genetically passed issues because of their breeding? Increased likelyhood of cancer, tumors, ect.
I used to breed mice and started with stock from Petco that had a lot of health issues that needed to be worked on so I'm wondering if it would be the same in fish. I don't wanna get some from there if babies down the line will be genetically screwed so if anybody has experience or advice it would be appreciated. I'm probably getting corys from there soon since it's too cold to have anything shipped to me and would eventually like to breed them so that's why I'm asking, thanks!

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a side project called Ugly House Finder—it’s basically a tool that tries to score properties that might be distressed or undervalued. The name is a little goofy, but the idea is to find those “rough around the edges” properties that have potential for wholesaling or flipping.
What it does:
- Pulls public property data to identify signs of neglect or potential for a quick sale. - Analyzes street-level images with AI to identify signs of neglect (think boarded windows, overgrown yards, etc.). - Recently integrated with US Census data to add neighborhood insights (like median income, vacancy rates, and other demographics). - Uses a scoring system to indicate which properties might be the best leads for wholesalers or investors. - Allows for Skip Tracing right in the app.
I’m still refining the tool, and I’d love some genuine feedback and ideas. Specifically:

 | Ok so about a month ago I shared an ss of me buying fake rhode off eBay to compare to the real thing, and they came into today, 4 day away from being a month, and I’m surprised tbh, the above is the fake and the below is the real one, I got a bit nervous bc they looked so similar and kinda thought my wasnt real. That being said my strawberry glaze box is a bit battered due to carelessness but I added it anyways to show the comparison The lip treatment you can obviously see the difference as the fake one is a pure white and looks kinda chunky, the biggest giveaway for me was when I took it out of the box, it is LIGHT, like it feels like plastic and not the good kind, like Rhode is way heavier, u can feel the heaviness of it and this is how ik mine isn’t fake lol, Next I got the stickers, unfortunately it was bent and idk what else to compare it too and I do not have the stickers, they were a dollar it and the have a matte velvety sheen to it, the seem like good quality tbh and I might use them. That being said I feel most people buy these for the packaging and not the lip products I didn’t use the product inside, but I’ve seen those Pinterest pics where they have the boxes and then the price, the boxes look pretty similar (except of the slight discoloration) but if u don’t have the og to compare it to no one will notice lol, but if u lost ur box or ur is badly treated like mine lol u can replace it for like $2 free shipping and get u some pretty nice stickers for $1 each too! also don’t worry, but I didn’t put it on it rather i swatched it on piece of paper and it smells like those strawberry candy the church grandma always have, consistency wise it comparable to the polite society polite pout, but idk what it feels like on skin, I’m also not trynna find out. submitted by Comfortable-lurker to rhodeskin [link] [comments] |

Full disclosure: I know this gets posted several times each day. I don't care if you downvote out of annoyance. Just looking for some genuine input.
I've been a Samsung user since the S6. Got the S7, the S8, S10+, Note 20 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and the S24 Ultra. Unfortunately, I lost the S24 Ultra and am now back on my S22 Ultra, otherwise I wouldn't be asking this question (I was, as many others are, perfectly happy with my S24). The S22 Ultra's battery and performance are well degraded and the screen is broken. My only gripe with the S24 Ultra was the camera; hardware was great, but they ruined photos with post processing, even with all the settings toned down. The split second after taking a photo and before post processing finished is when I felt the camera shined brightest. Battery life was phenomenal, screen beautiful, performance great. Then came 2024 July Unpacked and I was really disappointed with their summer releases and did not think Samsung was headed in a good direction, as I felt like they were just putting in minimal effort and copying (mostly) Apple. Fast forward to yesterday and I can't say my mood changed in regards to Samsung's outlook. I love One UI and am obviously very used to it, but for the first time in 10 years, I'm wondering if jumping ship to the Pixel or iPhone is the smarter move.
If you've crossed platforms, are a longtime Samsung user who feels similar, whomever, I would really appreciate any feedback.
I hope this doesn't get deleted. One or two replies would be enough and be greatly appreciated.

I (f, hw: 200 lbs, sw: 178 lbs, gw: 136 lbs) would like to add more strength training at home. Most preferable bodyweight exercises or if necessary with dumbbells. I have two relatively heavy ones for my back training that I do 3 times a week (22 lbs).
Who can recommend great workouts using bodyweight (e.g. on YouTube) for me to do at home?
If I still buy dumbbells, what weights would you recommend?
