Hi!! so I've lived in America since i was 6 and am still currently I'm now a 17 year old on h4 visa. I am currently in my second semester of freshman year(pursuing undergraduate). I might most likely want to pursue a job in here later, if possible. I am currently debating about which major I should currently choose. I really like anything business and my university is known for the business college, so I was planning on applying to business college(40% acceptance rate) during my fall of sophomore year to pursue supply chain management because SCM is something I'm really interested in. If I don't get into the business college, I plan on just pursuing applied engineering with a supply chain management concentration. Based on the later job market, I might switch to data science if none of these routes work out. I just wanted some advice right now if this is smart plan or not. Any type of advice and recommendations would really help me make a decision and I would really appreciate it.

It's been since July last year... and the solicitor has only just said the banks won't lend as our ground rent isn't fixed. But there's no escalating clauses or doubling clauses. I'm so confused. This is the clause. Please help us.
Clause: " "Basic Rent" means £100 per annum to be paid by quarterly instalments at the Payment Days by direct debit or such other means as the Landlord may determine the first of such payment to made on the date of this Lease and (if necessary) to be apportioned provided that the rent shall not exceed the amount (if any) at which from time to time there would be imposed a statutory restriction on the freedom of the Landlord to receive a premium on the transfer of the term of years granted by this Lease.".
He said we need a Deed of variation or someone to clarify that it is fixed. But management won't do this as they don't see the point as they think as there's no review clause we don't need a Deed of Variation.
Please help. Literally 6 months of waiting to hear this. My livelihood is in the balance. Our Landlord has just upped rent for March and is also selling so we can't stay here forever.
I'm so distraught everything is crashing around me. All my hopes, plans. I can't afford to rent anymore it's so expensive :(

2025.01.24 00:40 CawfeePig Started mirtazapine for IBS 9 days ago. With no relief, I don't know if I should stop now or risk withdrawal.
So I started 15 mg nine days ago thinking maybe it would help with IBS. The ONLY thing I have noticed so far in these nine days is feeling more tired, although that has started to fade a little. My stomach symptoms seemed to be improving the first few days, but I'm back to my normal symptoms at this point.
With no real information on how long this would take to start working for digestive issues, I am stuck unsure if I should keep going and risk withdrawal symptoms, or get out now before that becomes too much of a problem. Really torn about this.
