2025.01.24 01:50 Notyoursxxxx AITAH for crying when my step sister announced her pregnancy right before it was time for cake, on my birthday?
So I was about 12 when this happened and I remember my friends and I, having debates at the time. I just wanted a non bias opinion.
Small amount of context: So it was my 11th or 12th birthday, and my stepsister was about 16 or 17. She had gotten pregnant and a couple weeks before my birthday she told my family. So my mum, her father, and my siblings. And we were all supportive. Surprised but supportive.
So on my birthday, we were having a family barbeque, There weren't many people, as some couldn't make it. But it was just her grandparents and my close aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. But it was just before cake time. My stepsister all of a sudden announced to the family she hadnt yet told, that she was pregnant. Obviously my family and her family were happy. But the day was no longer about me. It was about her pregnancy. So I went to my room and cried. And when I was called for cake, I got up and went to where everyone was waiting for me. And as everyone was happily singing happy birthday, I stared at my beautiful cake and silently cried. After wards, my mother called me dramatic and said I need to be happy for my stepsister as she was already really nervous about telling everyone.
Here are the debates me and my friends were having at the time: All of us thought it was wrong and there could have been ways around it. Some said she should of just waited and told people on an occasion she plans herself. Some said they understood that it was easier considering all the family was there. Some said they should of told me first. And some said that maybe I wasn't told because I was only 12 at the time.
I obviously understand all of these reasons, and I have no hate to my stepsister or my nephew. But I would still love an opinion.
So what do you think Reddit? Do you think my family did the right thing by not telling me? Or do you think there were other ways around it, but still considering my age. And most of all, do you think my mother was right, and I was the asshole, or do you think it was fair?

And I saw the pictures and my jaw was on the ground as the first photo just looks wrong to me. And I would've chose the second option as the first one looks like two different pieces that don't look good. This was also the first time I heard Cassey name a romper a "Runsie".

Story was something like a queen sending her son(def a twink, thought he was a girl at first) off with a team to fight some evil.
It was really pretty, I think special moves had extra and nice animation. The lobby scene was in a tavern and you could pick your fave Character to be waiting sitting at the bar. There was like a world tree section of the game to upgrade stuff? It might be gone at this point cause I can't find it in my account history on googleplay anymore. If anyone remembers this game please let me know!

This just happened to me this week.. literally saw her walking towards me one night at the bar and had to be with her. We hung out for a couple of hours then proceeded to take her back to my place.. had the wildest 4 hours of my sex life and she left me hooked (not sure if limerant or just infatuation).. I knew that night I was never seeing her again oddly enough so we hugged it out and kissed one last time before she departed.
We messaged a couple of times back and forth but that was about the extent of it. And now I think of her a lot.. look at her pics etc..I should probably stop cold turkey but I can’t help but think that even though she might not be on my mind all the time, that specific night and details will be for the rest of my life and come into my thoughts randomly..

ok so i am a aromantic virgin, ive felt sexually attracted to people ive dated but never felt the urge to act on it, if that makes sense. i also have sexual trauma so im not sure if that plays a role in it, i just don’t want to tell people im asexual and be totally missing the mark, but its also a hassle having to explain it to people.
