I recently had a terrifying experience at my boyfriend’s (17M) house, and I’m struggling to process everything. His family has a 3-4-year-old pit bull that’s been kept in a small cage its entire life. It’s unsocialized and aggressive; the last time it escaped, it killed their pet cat. Despite this, they recently decided to make it an indoor dog.
During a sleepover at his house, they let the dog inside while I was in my boyfriend’s room. The dog immediately ran to me, jumped on the bed, and started sniffing me. Out of nowhere, it growled, lunged at my face, and barked aggressively. I was so scared I shielded my face with my arm. My boyfriend pulled the dog away but wasn’t firm enough, and it broke free and jumped at me again. He finally managed to get it outside, but I was shaking and crying. Instead of comforting me, he laid down and sarcastically said, “Let me guess, you’re never going to come here again, are you?”
I decided to leave because I didn’t feel safe, so I called my grandpa for a ride. While I was walking to the car, his parents brought the dog out on a leash. It barked and lunged at me as they laughed. I had to run to the car, terrified. They never apologized, and a few days later, his dad messaged me on Facebook, dismissing my concerns and saying I was being dramatic. He even implied I lied about the dog’s aggression.
I asked my boyfriend to help me get an apology, and while he eventually convinced his dad to message me, it didn’t feel genuine. His dad claimed the situation “wasn’t that deep” and refused to take responsibility. On top of that, his mom called me a gold digger, even though I pay for most of our meals and give my boyfriend gas money to visit me.
I feel disrespected and unsupported by both my boyfriend and his family. Am I overreacting, or is this a major red flag? I just need some clarity.

I recently bought a used MDX and I have seen some inconsistencies with the remote starter. The Fob model is a RS-08AC and i need to be 5 feet from the car for it to initiate the RS procedure. Otherwise it beeps three times (out of range). Fob batteries have been changed today and it still does this. What course of action should i take to diagnose the said issue? Is it the fob thats too old?
Would finding an oem antenna help? Would any two way antenna work? Etc.
Vehicle starts properly with the key, cranks normally, etc.
