I haven't built a computer in years so I'm out of touch with what's new.
I currently have a 12 bay synonyms nas that I bought in 2017 with 12 10tb drives. It's almost full and while I like turn key reliable things, the price tag of the latest 12 bay synology can go throw itself off a cliff.
I'd like ten or more 20/24 tb drives. It will be a media server and run plex and my docker media stack. Will need at least one 10gb network adapter
Will probably go with unraid unless someone convinces me otherwise. It seems stable enough.
What's your dream build?

We ordered a 511i Max and received it today. We live very close to one of the current major fires occurring in Los Angeles and have had four germ guardian 4800 series (and one Hamilton Beach) running constantly at their max since the fire started 2 weeks ago.
When I turned on the BlueAir this afternoon it said that my air quality was very poor- the light on the front is red- that hasn’t changed at all today.
Do I trust the sensor? Anyone have a similar experience?

So my band is delving into the IEM world, and everyone keeps telling me I need an audio interface with the IEMs. We bought the galaxy audio IEM system btw. Do you absolutely need an audio interface? what is the purpose of it? Im kind of clueless when it comes to anything other than guitars and amps if im being honest. If you all do recommend getting one, what kind should I get? most people keep telling me I need one with multiple sets of stereo outs. why is that? ok, so it was more than one quick question....my bad.

I know I didn't have to accept it. I accepted once, then canceled it after realizing the size. Noted it wasn't worth it. It kept coming back to me, each time with an additional $1. I decided to go ahead and take it. Because it was gonna be my last run and I might not get anything decent paywise.
First stop 40lbs of dog food 10lb roll of ground beef Gallon of milk
Second stop 3 - 40 bottle cases of water 4 - 12 packs of soda 3 - 1 gallon jugs of juice And a ton of food that loaded the back end of the SUV
Pretty sure the pending tip is on the first stop. The second stop, the address did not exist in navigator. I called first they didn't answer, I texted they didn't reply. They texted me through the app to let them know when i'm there so they could meet me up the road to help because their road was icy...praise the Lord. It still took numerous back and forth messages and phone calls to get me going in the right direction. Like I know where "Eagle Bay" is...this is down in the Ozarks where every little community has their own name. My anxiety was up there. 20 miles later I get there, took them about 5 minutes to meet me. I'm thinking Spark is going to cancel because I'm clearly late. I really didn't care if they handed me a tip or not.I just wanted to go home. They unloaded the bulk of the order, no tip and I went home. I still make decent money but these people were clueless. They were just so happy that Walmart now delivers in their area. 🙄😵💫
Oh, and the pending tip is $3.04.

Finally got an evening to sew some of the custom stuff I’ve had in mind … several sets of fairy wings with lacy-elastics, for adults and for babies/newborns. And one baby dress, haha. Simple, but cute, and a nice way to get some of the tiny fairies I’ve been covetting without buying a whole set, haha.
Some of these wings I’ll be keeping for my own collection, but I’ll be giving a few to my niece for her upcoming birthday.
Mama Husky’s new dress is the next project on my docket, so she won’t be so chilly for long!

Hi everyone! Thinking of planting clumping bamboo in a planter box for privacy screening/ hedging (need 5-6m tall). Looking for a variety that will grow into a tall dense hedge, and also minimal maintenance (as little leave drop as possible would be great)!
Location is Sydney Australia. Slender weavers are very popular here, I also heard of Taiwan Jade variety which supposedly doesn’t shed leaves, but they seem less popular.
Any suggestions/ photos from you on what to go for? Thanks!
