2025.01.24 03:31 im_a_jenius MOD Idea: CS2 using real city street names of your choice by selecting a region or specific city of your choosing in the MOD
Here's my semi-useless idea for a MOD. Main point of the MOD would be letting the user set a specific city to use that cities roads, streets, avenues, boulevards, expressways, freeways names in the game, I'm assuming there's a fixed list of street names in the game. I was thinking that a MOD could allow you to select a particular real life city or say region and the game would only use real street names from that area, even freeway names like my local Nimitz freeway. This whole idea is assuming the MOD would be able to retrieve the street name data from the internet. In my most simplest research, I was able to get city street names in what I could only describe as DATA. So....am I crazy?

I recently acquired 4 Troubleshooter mods. I’m curious which other mods would work well to add with my Hellcat Power Armor to take on EN06. Any suggestions would be very helpful, I’ve been out of the game for a while but just grabbed all the mods for an Anti-Armor Gatling Plasma. Currently I’m using the Juggernaut 3.5 build with an Over Eaters set of PA. 2025.01.24 03:31 Lukeholmy Weird Exec. Level Door Handles?
Something that really stood out to me for some reason was the Door handles on the upper executive level of Lumon in S2E2. This can be seen at 02:50 for anyone wondering, but these are incredibly odd.
They look as if they have symbols, or maybe possibly runes (yes I know that's a stretch) on them, but they are a very stark contrast from the clean and "corporate" style that we've exclusively seen from Lumon so far. Did anyone else notice these? Not sure if they're anything they just seem very odd to me, almost arcane/occult vibey, and knowing their practices- that doesn't entirely shock me.
Is this something or am I just crazy...

I like to play my games in the center of my 32:9 Samsung G9. All my other games, I can go windowed, drag up to the windows 11 snap feature and center it. This game, the snap option doesn't pop up. I have spent an hour trying to figure this out, including editing the user file as suggested in many other places. I believe the resolution I want is 2560 x 1080 which is 21:9 in the center. Editing all the settings in game just creates black borders on the sides where I like to have my web browser and other apps.
Ideas?

I don’t like it. It feels like victim-blaming and seems very unfair. This approach risks devaluing the pain and injustice someone has gone through, focusing only on their reactions while ignoring the abuser's actions. I also think it can be counterproductive, especially for deeply traumatized people with severe mental health disorders and difficulties in expressing anger and asserting boundaries. But judging by the comments under the video, many people seem to like this advice.
What do you think about it? Does it seem empowering to you? Or is it counterproductive?

The date of October 6 runs strong on the maternal side of my family. My birthday is October 6; maternal great grandmother died on October 6; a maternal great aunt was born and died on October 6, and had a daughter (my second cousin) also born on October 6. Long before I’d ever heard of number angels, I started seeing 10:06 on a clock popping up regularly enough that it caught my attention. Sometimes even twice a day. I thought it was kind of odd, thought maybe it was my internal body clock associating with a regular activity such as break time at work, bedtime, etc., even though I had no set break or bed time. It was just plain odd and continued along, even after I retired. I was with my mom when she passed and when she took what was her last breath, I glanced up at the clock and what time was it? 10:06. Since her passing, 10:06 continues to show its presence in my life in various ways of which a couple I’ll go into detail about.
Nobody loved going to the casino more than my mom and it was a regular activity for her and me, especially in her last few months as cancer did its evil thing. We often went together with my stepfather and uncle (mom’s brother) and on occasion with an aunt (her sister). A couple of months pass and my aunt and uncle and I make a trip to the casino. We don’t gamble together but gather together when we walk in, glance at our watches and set a time. So we walk into the casino that day, glance down at our watches and what time is it? 10:06. A few months later, a different aunt put a seasonal flower arrangement on mom’s gravesite and texted me a picture of it. What time did she send it. 10:06.
No can convince me that any of this is just random. I truly am surrounded by my number angels and fell blessed by it. How I discovered what number angels are is another story for another post.
