2025.01.24 06:03 Mammoth-Entertainer8 Only making 9PSI Max boost 23' WRX Limited mt
hello lovely wrx knowitalls... I have a 23 WRX with 13000 miles and can't seem to get anything above 9.8PSI boost. I would say I average 7-8 max but here and there i'll get a flash of around 9.2. This is on hard pulls btw, i drive the car to drive the car if you get what im saying... I recently put snow tires on which is the only change to the car since i noticed the i ssue (obviously irrelevant but gotta say it). I've had the intercooler off to install a pitch stop mount last June, so I think it's safe to say the issue wouldn't arise over half a year later. On top of that, i removed and reinstalled the IC and piping just in case and that didn't seem to do anything. i did however find a little oil pooling right where the piping disconnects at the metal clip on the top plastic section of the charge pipe. I wouldn't say it's an insane amount, but there's a coating all around the tube and more than a few drops pooling at that flat spot of piping...
I was leaning towards a boost leak until I saw all the oil and now i'm kind of thinking maybe something with the turbo seal.. would love some other thoughts.
Still under warranty, oil changed at 1000 miles, 2000 miles and then every 2500 following. Ow-20, never over filled. My AP is arriving tomorrow, hopefully i'll be able to add some pictures of the readings i'm getting from that to post in comme v if that'll help at all...

Does any one have experience going catless? I currently have headers and a tune, but I will be installing a m112 supercharger in the next couple months. I would get Quantum to adjust for it in the tune. I still plan on using it as my daily, so I don't want it too loud.
My idea was to replace the cat with a short section of pipe and have someone weld a flange on each side. Are the exhaust flanges on each side of the cat fairly universal? Is removing the secondary cat going to make a big difference in sound/flow if I keep the dual resonators and my flowmaster mufflers?

2025.01.24 06:03 mjohnsimon Would a Kriss Vector be worth it?
Alright, hear me out.
Yes, I know the Kriss Vector is pricey. Yes, I know there are better options out there. And yes, I know itās basically screaming to be in full auto, which I definitely canāt have (legally, at least for now). But hereās the thing, I think they look cool, and Iām not exactly making decisions based on pure logic here.
That said, I think I got a golden opportunity: there are two Vectors sitting at a nearby Bass Pro Shop, and thanks to a blessed combination of reward points, gift cards, and questionable financial priorities, I can snag one for under $1,000. One is chambered in 10mm and the other in .45 ACP.
Hereās the dilemma:
- The 10mm: This makes sense to me because I do want a Glock 20/29 eventually since I plan on doing some hunting in the future (where gators, hogs, and the occasional Florida Man might require some persuasion to leave me alone). Since the mags are interchangeable, it's one less thing I'd have to worry about. A major con is that 10mm ammo is more expensive, and I heard that the quality has declined (emphasis on heard).
- The .45 ACP: The Vector was basically born for this round, and being subsonic, it pairs beautifully with a suppressor (which I will convince myself to buy one day). The only downside is that I have no plans to get a Glock 30, so there goes any mag-sharing convenience, but the silver lining is .45 is cheaper than 10mm and I heard has better QC.
Or do I just stick with something else?

I am male. I hv noticed that siri in my phone gets triggered by almost an male voice that says hey siri unlike google assistant wherein it gets triggered to only my specific voice while using android.
Due to this i cannot give access to siri to perform specific tasks like reading out messages or whatsapp and such which reduces the functionality as almost anyone can access it.
I hv tried registering my voice multiple times but still it does the same. Is it only me or its an apple problem?

Does anyone have any good chapstick recommendations since getting pregnant my lips have been insanely chapped to the point where they hurt sometimes. I increased my water intake thinking maybe I was dehydrated but that didnāt help. Theyāve gotten so bad that if I sneeze or even smile they split and bleed. Iāve tried a couple cheaper ones that my mom has picked up while out. She got me Aquaphor, Regular Vaseline, Carmex and Blistex medicated and none of them have worked I know Carmex and Blistex arenāt the best but I donāt want to spend a ton of money one something iām not sure is even gonna work. I know the cold weather definitely isnāt helping either but this sucks

Itās been like forever since Iāve used this thing. When I say forever Iām talking when this game came out. Back then I was much more computer savvy and now Iām very very rusty.
So from my previous post I asked about Civ colors and how to change them. It was rather simple actually. I was a little overwhelmed with all the options I had to mess with. I looked through everything in all the menus and such. I didnāt go looking into anything though, just looking.
Anyway, I did what I set out to do which was change the primacy and secondary colors for who I plan on playing as next. I changed nothing else even though I was tempted and saved. Question is, how hell do I use it? It created a .biq file. What do I with it now?

So we recently purchased a house and were looking to do some remodeling/updating to it. We got a quote to replace all the flooring in the house 2300 sqft with tile. This includes removing existing tile in main areas and carpet from bedrooms and installing new tiles and baseboards.
Also includes redoing tile in a master bath and 2 guest baths. Also removing a soffit above 2 of the showers and having them go to the ceiling, removing tub from one and making it shower, replacing shower valves on all 3 and also replacing the countertop on the 3 vanities. Also installing glass door and "window" on master shower.
Includes replacing countertop in kitchen and making it one level. Currently it has like the counter and then a bar height section. Also doing tile back splash.
Also includes enclosing a small weird area of the house to make it like a small office or walk in pantry. Would involve just building a wall with door.
The quote is for labor and the countertop material which will be a quartz and includes the glass for the master shower. We would have to supply the tiles for everything. It's coming in at around $45k. Never done any remodeling so I'm not really sure if this is a good price or not. Company seems to be reputable and has good reviews.
