We know that there’s some connection between Cobel’s mother’s death and Lumon. What if she was one of the first severed employees and that is what killed her?
Also, on a completely unrelated note, I think Lumon is one religion/cult and what Ricken is doing is another religion/cult.

*It’s time to let go.* As the first thought of the day, this wasn’t a good sign. *Everything has led up to this. This is final.* She lay in bed with her eyes closed—her mind racing. So she lay for the next three hours, listening to her pounding heart and her dizzying mind. She knew getting up was worse than staying in bed. If she got up, she didn’t trust herself not to do something rash. As much as she wanted the end, she dreaded the ending. After finally getting out of bed, she dragged herself to the bathroom. Over the last year, her daily routine had fallen to pieces, so now she simply stood, staring at herself in the mirror. *Is this really who I am?* When she forced her body to move, the reflection moved as well. It mimicked every action of hers, yet it was not her. How could it be? The person in the mirror looked whole. She looked fine. It is what is hidden that holds the pain. *See. . .* She pulled up her sleeve. *Here is the pain.* Fresh cuts ran up her arm. Her skin stung as it remembered the bite of the knife from the night before. Somehow remembering was worse than doing. Sometime in the afternoon, she found herself in her bedroom. The walls were a dusty blue and the floor seemed to sink in the middle. She looked out as the rain dribbled down the window. Once upon a time, she would have loved to stomp in the puddles and play in the rain, but not now. Now the rain carries flashbacks and fresh wounds. *Plink, plop, plink, plop.* Her leaky roof cried along with the clouds outside. No place is safe. You can’t run from the demons inside your head. Every moment, feeling, and sense held the flashbacks of the past haunting her. This past hid in the shadows of her room, the creaky boards of the stairs, and the scars on her skin. She couldn’t escape. But she had to. *She needed to escape.* The shivering, clammy hand of her past life closed on her throat, it was time. The shadows, creaky boards, and leaky roof watched her. She hadn’t left in a while. The house had almost forgotten she was there, except at night. At night, the crumbling house could never forget her… the boards heard her moaning and groaning, echoing their constant creaks. The roof saw her tears, dripping along with its puddles. The shadows tasted the darkness in her heart, all consuming, yet shying from the light. The house saw her and knew her, maybe better than she knew herself. As she wandered the musty halls, her heartbeat stilled. Now she could no longer hear the distinct beat, rather it echoed with the fall of rain outside. She wondered if she truly existed. All she did was wander the halls, tainting the floor with the soft step of her feet. Despite the rain, she still stepped lightly so as not to disturb the house. It was fragile. Any wrong move and the entirety could shatter. As the years passed, the liveliness of the house had fallen away. It no longer remembered life. Instead, the darkness was embraced, the shadows welcomed - the doors closed. In a sense, she and the house were one. They had grown together and now were dying together. So she sat in the midst of the bare living room, the wood floor damp due to the stormy weather and leaky roof. She flinched as lightning hit the woods around her. Half a second later, thunder shook the earth. *That was close.* Surprisingly enough, she felt fear. It wasn’t an overwhelming, paralyzing fear, but more of an inherent, animal-like fear. I need actual Silksong discussion, talking about what we think is actually going to be in Silksong because I've been tweaking out man despite my best efforts not to
Here's how I think the area progression is going to look:
- Moss Grotto, Deep Docks, Coral Forest and Bone Forest, City area, Grey Moor, Citadel (anywhere else I have no clue where it might sit). Silksong areas are probably going to connect like Hollow Knight areas do, so it won't just be a clear-cut going from one area to the next sorta thing.
Apart from being Hornet's wife, I think Lace is going to be the biggest obstacle in reaching the top of the citadel. Speaking of Lace, there's totally going to be an ending where Hornet and Lace kiss (it's the secret true ending)
Farloom is going to be far from dead, very much unlike Hallownest, but I think bugs will be being controlled via silk threads (iirc I heard this theory from a mossbag video). We're likely going to find out a lot more about the world outside kingdoms from these bugs traveling to Farloom.
I could also talk about what I would like to see from Silksong, but Silksong is never coming out so there's no point.
What do you think is going to be in Silksong if it ever releases?
