Hi I’m still fairly new to the game with less than 100 hours gameplay but I’ve beat the game a couple of times
I want to get rid of all the evil biomes in my world later in the game but I’m still pre hard mode. Right now I’m in the process of sectioning the world off with 8 hellevators and a bisection right through (horizontal) the middle of the world complete with teleporters everywhere for quick transportation
To avoid spreading the evil biomes I want to avoid breaking any crimson altars my plan was to fish for all the hard mode ores I need. I have the golden rod a large supply of master SPACE bait and I’m working on getting the rest of the angler accessories I’m missing and making a large supply of fishing related potions
I intend to use biome sight potions and dynamite to isolate the evil biomes but I need decent armor to keep me alive as I will be near hard mode evil biome enemies
My question is has anyone done this before that could provide some advice? How long will it take me to get enough hard mode ores for a full armor set? And any other general information or advice you could offer me would be appreciated

Have posted about this several times before but still trying to figure out what it needs, if anything.
I was having a good chat with someone here about it recently, but I can't find that thread to go back to so have to start a new post.
I recently repotted it because it fell over in some winds, but that at least allowed me to see that it had grown some roots. When I bought it was just stuck in a pot with no roots, that was about 6 months ago. At the time I repotted it and put it close to the few so it would have some shade.
Now I've moved it into the sun a bit more as it still doesn't seem very happy. There's been quite a bit of heavy rain lately but also really hot days so I think that should be ok. Soil is a mixture of volcanic pebbles and the soil it came in which looks quite sandy.
Those calloused bits have always been there but I feel like they might be getting worse and the ribs are quite spongy.
It's been about 3 weeks now since it fell over and I re buried the roots. Thanks

Two days before the meeting, the government-controlled newspaper Dainik Bangla published a detailed report stating that Bangladesh's foreign trade-related claims against Pakistan amounted to 50 billion Bangladeshi taka at the time. It was revealed that $200 million, sent to aid East Pakistan after the 1970 cyclone, had been transferred from the Dhaka State Bank to the State Bank of Lahore during the war. According to the United Nations' UNROD, the war caused $1.2 billion in damages, while Bangladesh’s official estimate was 12.49 billion Bangladeshi taka. Following the report, Pakistan responded through the Urdu newspaper Nawa-i-Waqt, which claimed on April 19 that Biharis in Bangladesh owned assets worth 55 billion Pakistani rupees and that Bangladesh should return this amount to Pakistan. The counterclaim aimed to undermine Bangladesh’s demand for its assets. In June 1974, ahead of Pakistani President Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's visit to Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Planning Commission prepared a detailed document outlining its claims based on international law. It specified Bangladesh’s share of assets, Pakistan’s liabilities, and the foreign loans incurred during the united Pakistan era. Foreign experts estimated that excluding war damages, Pakistan owed Bangladesh $3.975 billion. During Bhutto's visit, a draft agreement included the asset-sharing issue. Bangladesh claimed $4 billion, including $11 million in gold and foreign currency reserves. Pakistan, in return, demanded 108.8 million Bangladeshi taka. Bhutto, citing the lack of financial experts in his delegation, attempted to sidestep the issue but eventually agreed to form a committee under pressure from Bangladesh. However, Pakistan stated that it was not ready to accept the proposal in principle. While Bhutto publicly celebrated his visit to Dhaka, he criticized Bangladesh’s demands upon returning to Pakistan. Meanwhile, Bangladesh prioritized asset-sharing and the repatriation of non-Bengalis as preconditions for establishing diplomatic and trade relations. When bilateral efforts failed, Bangladesh sought international support. On October 4, 1974, during a stopover at Heathrow Airport, Prime Minister Sheikh Mujibur Rahman stated, “Progress in Bangladesh-Pakistan relations depends on resolving unresolved issues. We demand our rightful share of assets. We are not begging from anyone.” In May 1975, at the Commonwealth Summit in Kingston, Jamaica, efforts were made to address the asset-sharing issue. As part of this initiative, the UAE’s oil minister visited Dhaka and Pakistan in June. Bangladesh also sought mediation from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) decided to revisit the issue at the upcoming Non-Aligned Movement summit in August 1975. However, after the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15, 1975, international efforts to recover Bangladesh’s dues stalled. In December 1976, Bangladesh announced compensation for nationalized industries, benefiting Pakistani businessmen who owned significant portions of these industries in Bangladesh. Despite protests, the government began compensating some Pakistani firms in 1978. In July 1979, a government order allowed claims on abandoned properties if the owner was a Bangladeshi citizen. Many non-Bengali owners exploited this by acquiring citizenship certificates and reclaiming properties, often selling them and transferring funds abroad. Additionally, Bangladesh assumed $13.485 million of the $506.761 million loans incurred during the East Pakistan era. Despite bilateral discussions, the recovery of $4 billion from Pakistan never materialized. When Bangladesh claimed $4 billion in 1974, the exchange rate was 8 BDT per dollar. 2025.01.24 05:43 EvilDarkCow Bought a car at Carmax, got a check engine light the very next day. What should I do?
Just yesterday (Wednesday 1/22) I purchased a 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan with 36k miles from my local Carmax. Technically my third Carmax purchase, though I returned a car I purchased last week to get this one (it just wasn't working out). I fell in love on the test drive, and the car exhibited no issues at all, felt like a Bentley compared to the Corolla I had returned. Finished the deal, drove off (got a low key battery warning as soon as I left - easy fix), and went about my business with this car I absolutely adore.
Today (Thursday 1/23), while parking back at work after grabbing lunch, I noticed the check engine light had come on. This was new, as the light had not been on before this. I pulled the code and got a P0491 (Secondary air injection system insufficient flow Bank 1). Some quick Googling reveals that this is a common issue in VWs and Audis, and can be either a quick fix, or quite a major repair (valve guides, engine head, etc.). Carmax has always taken good care of me and seems to have good quality cars, so for something like this to pop up within 24 hours is a little shocking. The previous owner seemed to maintain the car meticulously at a VW dealership, based on the service records that I could find.
I love the car but, as you can imagine, this is a little disappointing. I hope that once this is resolved I can get years of reliable service out of it. Of course I have the complimentary 90 day/4k mile warranty, but I also got 5 y100k Maxcare on it and there still seems to be a little tiny bit of factory warranty left. Should I call the local Carmax service department, since I bought the car there, or should I go straight to VW since it's still under factory warranty?

I’m not sure if this is the right group, but I really need to talk to a Muslim person about something important. I live in a foreign country where there aren’t many Muslims, so it’s hard for me to find someone to talk to in person.
I’m not currently wearing the hijab, but alhamdulillah, I have a strong desire to start wearing it because I believe it’s the right thing to do. The only thing that held me back before was my concern about being treated differently in school or in future jobs. I’ve come to realize that wearing the hijab is not a problem as I once thought. I understand how important it is, and I’m wondering if it’s too late for me to start wearing it now. Will I still be able to enter Jannah if I begin wearing the hijab at this stage in my life? Thank you so much!

Pro tip here, the UA lounge in Narita is crap. If you’re in busy class or are a united Gold level, for a short 10 minute walk you can use the quiet, uncrowded, better food, better booze ANA lounge. Really empty and super comfy chairs, nice view too. UA really needs to step up the service in Narita.

I booked the Toy Story hotel on the Shanghai side but it didn’t allow to me purchase park tickets more than 30 days out. So I purchased the park tickets through Klook instead as they allowed me to select a date farther out. Do I still get early access to the park since I’m staying at the hotel, even though I got my park tickets through Klook?
