Hey guys, I am long time distro hopper and that's why I can't use one distro for long. Everytime I install new distro I tried to tweak rice and then it's break then I install new os ,but I want to use single distro for long time ,which distro is best for me? bcz I used manjaro it worked best but after some time it's lagging when playing games.also I am interested in arch Linux how to install it without script and which DE should I install?

Okay, I’m posting again to give context about my break up..
I am STILL going through my break up. It’s a 6yr (actually 5yrs 11mos) relationship, and it has been 6mos since the official break up. 4yrs together in the same country, and the last bit was spent long distance. He was able to visit me twice in the country where I moved. Although the main issue of our relationship is his indecisiveness to follow me, the actual/ official reason of the break up is that he cheated on me. We were on a cool-off a month before the official break up to think things through.. 2days in the cool-off, I made up my mind that I’d be willing to go back to our home country if that would mean we can make our relationship work. When he contacted me a month after the cool-off, he admitted to cheating and broke up with me.
I was doing no contact after the break up. I learned in youtube vids that he was actually a dismissive avoidant, and no contact works best in getting them back and also the path to moving on. So I thought, okay win-win. No contact it is. Although his mom would check-in with me from time to time if we had been talking as she noticed a change in personality with my ex, like a dip into depression.. she gave me the idea that maybe if we’ll be able to talk in person we can work things out. So I booked a ticket to fly back home in 3mos time. During those 3mos, I conditioned myself that I was going home to visit my family so that I wouldn’t feel so disheartened if we won’t be able to talk. My friends were urging me to reach out to him then at least for closure, but I’ve already accepted not having one.
The day after I flew back home, he randomly showed up at my house. Hugged and kissed me in front of my family, and ate lunch with us. Did the usual catch-up and formalities with the family. When we’re able to talk alone, he told me about his problem. He apparently was drowning in debt because of financial obligations in family. He spent company money to pay for rent and bills for a couple of months. And so he was saying that he was not in the right headspace to be a partner to me. He just wanted me to move forward in my life because I’m already in a good place to the country where I moved to. And it’s actually the reason why I want hin to come and be with me, so we can help each other help our families with our financial situations. During the time I was back in my home country, we both spent some time together with each other’s couples. We were like the couple that were then. Same dynamics, same connection. He still dropped me off in the airport then together with my family. And when I asked about our situation, suggesting that maybe we just go back to cool-off as opposed to breaking up, he considered it for a bit and then told me to just park the conversation for later. I told him I’m starting to get sad as the time to check-in for my flight is nearing, and he told me to not get sad anymore as I’ll come back again in a few month’s time to attend a friend’s wedding. He dropped my family back to our home, and even asked about when’s my parents flight to visit me to spend holidays.
When I landed to my current country of residence, I messaged him for an update and it’s still unseen up to now. I didn’t mind it at first as he didn’t commit to getting back to a relationship with him anyway. I thought he just needs time to sort himself out. His mom actually cried to me and asked to not give up on his son..
There haven’t been any contact since before my flight back, and when I flew back again to attend a friend’s wedding, I learned from a friend that he’s already with someone new and they are already posting about it in social media.
That knowledge really reeled me back some several big steps in my healing journey. I cried hard again to my friends, and even already opened up to my family about the whole thing. I was keeping it all together before as I wanted to protect his image, and preserve whatever was left of the relationship.
I’m having a hard time moving forward again.. I’m taking steps to take care of myself such as morning reflections, daily walks, working out, listening to youtube/podcasts, reading books, etc. I feel like as much as I’m ticking off all these checklists on the path to healing, I’m afraid there is nothing substantial happening. The thought of my ex being with somebody new still pains me. And as much as I try to fight off the negative thoughts, self-doubt and questions on self-worth still arises.
I’m off social media now mainly because I don’t want to see any updates on my ex, and through our mutual friends but also I learned about myself that I am heavily insecure in many aspects about myself and social media is not a very safe space for me. I also have my reservations in going on a dating app because I also feel I’m still too insecure and wounded to get into the dating game.
I feel stuck and sorry for myself for being in this situation. My ex is happily moving on and I’m still picking up the pieces he’s left behind and tending to my misery..
