Hello :) I have a number of SSD’s I’d love to shift through and trim some footage off of. So I’m wondering… Let’s say I take a shot and it’s 60seconds long, the first 10 seconds are solid, the next 30 seconds are unusable, and the last 20seconds I want to keep. Or however you wanna put it where there’s a space between the two. I was hoping there is a way to bring a project into the timeline, trim a ton of clips up, cut that in between of bad footage out and then export with keeping, well everything. Same quality, same color profile, codec, etc? I use Mac and I know there’s the way to trim clips using QuickTime, however it just seems much slower than if there was a way to do it through Davinci! Any insight is appreciated :)

Has anyone tried if Starlink Mini can work through an RV windshield?
I know it's not ideal, but we will be renting an RV and don't have the luxury to mount it on the roof. The external view doesn't seem promising but I think the driver seat pic seems to be facing *some* sky.
Wondering if anyone had any experience with this matter. Thanks!

On a very cold January night, a boy was walking through ice that the horrible blizzard left behind last week. He was determined on picking up his Butter Chicken from this newly opened Indian restaurant, a mile away from his house. Hands almost freezing yet he’s holding a cigarette lit up, as he takes quick puffs every 3.5 big steps he takes through slush. He steps into the restaurant after quickly taking the final puffs off of his damped cigarette and stamps it with his feet on the ground.
He goes inside the restaurant, and stops in the middle of the aisle, and turns his head to right. There she was, standing about 12ft away from him at the counter, in her white hijab, leaning against the refrigerator at the back, looking at him. The guy slowly removes his beanie. Followed by his dripping wet jacket. Eventually drags the neck warmer under his chin, while his steel bangle slides down his right arm. He can’t stop looking into her deep brown eyes, as she rolls them out too loud. He finds it cute and slips out a smile, and tries to contain it by slightly biting his lower lip. Then snap!!!
Some jerk honked for so long just outside the restaurant. They both twitch. The guy carefully composes himself before walking towards her and she gently starts turning further towards him. He reaches the counter and says, “hi, I’m umm here to pickup my order of one ccchicken biryani and one chicken sixty… nnn…five” as he blinks in awkwardness. “Oh you!” says she in a very bleh tone. “Yeah! Me” says he in an ecstatic tone. She chuckles. He blushes. The chef then comes and slams the food packets at the counter and storms back inside. The looks at the guy in guilt. His hands were cold so he started rubbing vigorously. Then she asks, “do you want a chai?” Surprised, he says, “ummm, yeah I’d like that. Thanks.” Takes the hot cup of chai, puts it between his palms. Nods and leaves, without looking at her. From the corner of his left eye, he could see her standing there for a couple seconds before she storms through the swinging doors and disappears.
He gets out of the restaurant and kicks the pile of ice that’s lying on the side of the road. The ice splashes into air in an arc, and just then the tea spills on his jacket. He throws the tea, and furiously starts walking towards his house. Behind him, through the window, is the girl. Watching him walk away from her. From the swinging doors, just when it shuts.
The next week, the boy sits in his balcony and a big cloud of smoke rises above him. He’s smoking up again. He decides to go out for a walk…probably to the Indian place. Instead locks himself in the bedroom. Picks up his phone, drafts a message to a contact called X. Types, “Je T’aime”. His thumb starts shivering over the send button.

2025.01.24 06:41 lorenna_ I'd like to build a subwoofer to use both on my PC and my car, is it possible?
I would use it mainly on my PC, and when travelling, hook it up to my car. (hoping it will be easy to detach from one and attach to another) So, Is it possible to build this kinda passive subwoofer? My budget is very low and things here are pricey.
I already have a ZK-MT21 (50W*2+100W), which is a 2.1 amp for my PC.
Haven't bought the subwoofer yet, neither the car amp.

I have a metabo 18 gauge finish nailer that isn’t performing how I’d like it to it is not that old maybe 2 years. I tried my buddies who has a rigid 18 gauge finish nailer and it shot with some real power like a piston it felt smooth and sharp seeing rigid I assumed it would be worse. It ended up being way better. I tried my grandpa‘s old senior 18 gauge finish nailer that I gave to my brother and once again that fired 100 times better than my metabo. I’m over the metabo I bought the best one they had it’s a POS. Any recommendations ?? Corded / pneumatic nailers only!!! Im shooting through hemlock doing a T&G ceiling
