2025.01.24 06:31 Parfanity G14 for Video Editing
I don't play a lot of games but I love the ROG series, and currently own the X16 (2022) 3060 with Intel I9 which is a fantastic laptop.
I'm in Broadcast and editing a lot of packages, the X16 does the job but it is big and the battery life is okay but not the best, I also suffer from slow transfer rates moving 4k videos between flash drives.
I just purchased the G14 4070 AMD 8945HS at Best Buy, they had a open box in excellent condition for 500 less than the asking price. Haven't tested it because I just saw a coming soon model for $2100 with AMDs new CPU set and 5070ti.

Since I'm not a gamer will the 2025 version have any noticable difference to the 2024 if I'm mostly using it for video editing and multimedia consumption? I would rather save $600-700 if it won't be much of an upgrade in the long run.

Hey there!
[[Hashaton]] looks so far like the most appealing legendary spoiled in Aetherdrift so far!
I was thinking about a [[Raffine]] Reanimator Deck anyways, so lucky me.
So far I have seen a bucnh of greatz lists, and while I do enjoy cEDH and already know about the [[Lion Eye Diamond]] stuff I wanna try a highish powered casual build.
Discard's Fist I used the tag function to make it clear, what is what, ie Discard Outlet, Discard Target etc.
That's what I compiled so far and I've got 47 more cards to cut so I'm gonna ask you: What to cut? What do add? Did I forget something?
Cards like [[Frantic Search]] are just awesome and of course [[Tortured Existence]].
My goal is to definetly discard [[Elesh Norn, Grand]] Cenobite or a [[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]] and get the zombified versions of them.
The thing I do struggle with if the ratio of discard outlets to discard targets.
With abilities or spells it get's really expensive, mana wise, so the ones that loot, like [[Likeness Looter]] or the free ones like [[Putrid Imp]] are key.
So far I didn't include any infinites, but I wouldn't mind if you had any in mind, that fit the discard and reanimation theme. Again, I don't want a cEDH list (split second wins sound awesome though)

 | On July 30, 2023, someone using a Cancun, Mexico, phone number called the Four Winds Casino Hartford and identified himself as “Charles Martinez,” the tribal chairman of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, an FBI agent said in a complaint against Gaytan-Garcia. “Martinez” was connected with a manager in the casino cage, the area where large amounts of cash are counted and secured. The FBI agent alleged that while that conversation was underway, the cage manager began receiving text messages from a New Jersey phone number from a person who claimed to be her boss. The “boss” said they needed “discreet” assistance making an urgent payment within 20 minutes. According to the FBI agent, the fake chairman and the phony boss convinced the cage manager to walk out of the casino cage with $700,000 stuffed into a Michael Kors bag. Another employee immediately reported the cash removal to casino security. As tribal police and the casino began investigating, the cage manager drove to Gary, Indiana, while speaking with and getting directions from the “chairman,” officials said. At about 2:15 p.m., the manager stopped at a Citgo gas station in Gary and handed the money to two men who pulled up in a Chrysler Pacifica minivan. x The FBI agent alleged that while that conversation was underway, the cage manager began receiving text messages from a New Jersey phone number from a person who claimed to be her boss. Through various other techniques, investigators determined that a phone and a Gmail account associated with Gaytan-Garcia were used near the Citgo gas station at the time of the cash hand-off, the FBI agent said. Armed with that information, agents secured a search warrant for Gaytan-Garcia’s home in Chicago. With the assistance of tribal law enforcement, agents raided the home last February and found a brick of $100 bills inside a safe. According to the agent, the cash was wrapped in a band stamped with the word “Hartford” and the date of the casino heist.
