I am planning a trip to the north of Europe and am stuck with one leg of the journey. I will be taking a ferry from Moskenes to Bodø and I need to get to another ferry from Nynäshamn. I have 2-3 days for that leg, and I'm wondering which route is best:
A. More direct route via Sweden (e.g. Bodø to Umeå and then south along the Gulf of Bothnia)
B. A slightly more curved route to see more of Norway (e.g. Bodø - Trondheim - Lillehammer - Nynäshamn).
I'm leaning towards option B as I suspect Norway will be more spectacular, but I may be wrong as I have never been there. Those of you who know the region well - what would you suggest?

I have been observing German Politics and the rise of Alice Weidel in the new far right AfD Party over the last decade. Recently I watched the series Handmaid's tale and was impressed how well written the character of Serena Waterford was. An ambitious woman, somewhat an ideological master mind of the totalitarian state she is about to build, seeking power and recognition for her achievements just to be later on constantly suppressed by that very system. I cannot explain it well enough - you must watch the series - but the character similarities between the fictional character and the far right leader from Germany are simply too compeling.
I come to the conclusion that the author of the Handmaid's tale book and the directors of the series must have well studied those tragic characters that thrive and fall im fascist movements. What are your thoughts on it?

I know that logically I'm not very fat, but I'm definitely not skinny either. I feel like a failure. I tried so hard and even then, it didn't work and I'm not a low enough BMI. It also sucks with the hate perpetuated in my real life. I think social media has really perpetuated an idea that if youre not super skinny, then youre fat and must be eating too much. I've been trying so hard to recover due to developing anemia and flunking my exams because of my eating disorder, and through recovering i gained about 5 kgs back. I know that if I confessed that I was anorexic to anyone, they would think I was lying. But no, unfortunately this hell of starving myself and barely losing any weight while simultaneously destroying my health is my reality. For some reason, no one gets it that its not that i eat a lot, i just have a messed up metabolism from being anorexic and bulimic on and off for three years along with various other diagnosed mental disorders. Its so painful. I cant eat without thinking of my weight. Not a day goes by where I dont wish I was skinnier. Im just so fucking tired and I dont know if I can keep going like this. Why do people think its so fucking easy to drop weight. I tried starving myself and that just made things worse. I cant do this anymore, why are people so fucking mean. What happened to empathy? Do i really need to be reminded that my existence is disgusting everyday?
