I am keeping my portable ROMs and emulators on my OneDrive. This way, using something like FolderSyncPro, I can set up my Android emulation machines to sync save states with the Emulators on OneDrive.
I just discovered this method, so not sure how reliable it is. Is someone else doing something like this with OneDrive? Any issues? I would hate to lose my saves.

I (24NB) feel like I really need to get off this site. I'm spending 3-5 hours a day here. Especially on days I have shit to do. Preface I have pretty bad ADHD, which makes me extremely susceptible to addiction loops, and even more reluctant to identity any fun sources as such.
I've deleted accounts in the past, and I always tell myself the same thing, "oh I'll only use my home page", "I'll turn off recommendations for new subs", "I'm here because I have no one in real life to talk to about this", but every time I find myself eventually reaching a state where I'm constantly checking if a comment or post I've made has received more and more upvotes. Engagement for the sake of engagement.
Going cold turkey I don't think helps because I'll just find a new timesink to plug the void left by Reddit, but I need to figure out a way to cut down massively. I'm finding myself preferring to scroll for hours with the hope of finding or chatting with someone fun about something, over my own hobbies.
And I know exactly why. My ADHD means that longer term pleasures that don't necessarily have as much initial payoff are always de-prioritised, since almost all of my decisions are made based on how I can get the instant gratification. It's impulsion, and I know that, but it's so fucking hard to break out of it. Compared to actually studying for uni, or playing my bass, I can "entertain" myself for hours lying in bed with just my right thumb.
I feel like any strategies to overcome this that rely on routine will fail because I'm so prone to irregularities in day to day life, that I don't have the self discipline to be able to course correct if I've veered off the routine.
I just saw my streak approaching 300 and finally decided enough was enough. I initially started this Reddit to chat about games and media I don't have friends to talk with about, and to practice my short story writing, but I'm way past that now, and need to enact change. Even if I feel this... Protectiveness over this almost 2 year old account?

My mother just went through a heart attack, I’ve been confused with all sorts of information regarding the diet she should follow. She had an emergency angioplasty as she had 100% blockage. She has another 90% blockage which can’t be operated right now because she just went through emergency anthology.
Foods like tomato, almond I’ve heard both sides, that it could it could be beneficial or it could be bad because they have oil in them
While I read somewhere that pineapple and oranges are good for heart patients while one place said that they’re not
Dieticians also give a little mixed thought about salt, one said don’t use at all, while one said it’s okay to use salt.

2025.01.24 08:47 GTRacer1972 Can Pisco go bad? Not sure if Barsol even qualifies, but I swear it went bad.
I've been drinking some artisan one from a no-name company for a few weeks now. I'm tryin to acquire a taste for it, and I have to be honest, I was really getting into the one I was drinking. But I finished the bottle tonight. So I poured some Barsol and almost spit it out. I swear it tastes like Jesus is messing with me and turned it back into water. It had a bitter flavor like Barsol does normally, but the texture was no longer silky, it was "loose" if that makes sense, just like water. Like if someone partially filled the bottle with water. They didn't, which is what's confusing me. This same bottle was fine before. but it's also been in the cabinet for a few years.
I have never had any other hard liquor go bad. Have any of you had that happen with any Pisco, or maybe just with Barsol?

Hi! Dummy here. I have a small business, small budget. I went with SquareSpace at first, wasn't satisfied, switched to ElementoWordPress earlier this month but was having a hard time with that. Cancelled my subscription there and moved on to Wix.
Transferring my domain from SquareSpace to Elementor was a breeze, but now I can't seem to succeed in transferring it from Elementor to Wix? My website is gone from Elementor now and my domain actually expired yesterday; got an email from SquareSpace to confirm that. But apparently my domain is still at Elementor? On my profile it says 'hosted by Elementor (1)'. But I see no option to unlock/transfer it. How do I go about it?

Are they gonna improve the game ? It’s an expensive and they charge a lot on PlayStation, it’s crazy that there is lazy animations on some parts of the game like how the referee is the same guy and those commentators say the same things, how the ai boxer have a lot of health and can take hard punches while seemingly hurting you good and how they get up after you knock them out at the count 5 then 7 then the third one they don’t get up, it’s repetitive… the only reason people play this cause they love boxing or enjoy playing it cause not much if any boxing games are on the main consoles now days.. punches are wack sometimes

2025.01.24 08:47 Living-Opinion6711 how do you cope once you’re doing better?
I was diagnosed with bipolar2 at the end of November after living with it, undiagnosed, for a little over a year and it boiling over into a SSRI with no mood stabilizer driven mental health crisis. I’ve been in therapy and medicated since then. I started seeing real results two weeks ago. I feel amazing and not in a buzzy hypomanic way for the first time in nearly two years. I know recovery isn’t linear but I finally have my feet on the ground.
My life kind of fell apart.
Not catastrophically. But I was an overachiever before. Suddenly, I couldn’t hold down a job. I was abusing drugs and alcohol and self harming. I used to be a straight-A college student. I had to turn down job offers. I neglected my health and my friendships. It feels like I finally stood up and am just surrounded by wreckage.
I’m making baby steps a day at a time to get stuff back on track (my primary focuses are recovery and getting a job)— but it’s hard. I wake up every day and it feels a little like grieving a life I worked really hard to keep and gritting my teeth as I claw my way back to it.
I’m surrounded by loved ones who support me in this, for that I’m lucky. But I feel like they don’t really understand where I’m coming from on this topic.
I guess my question is: how do you overcome the shame from destroying your life? (Or not destroying, just wrecking a little.)
