So, I was making a build, and noticed that I'd like Danger Sense from Barbarians, but I mostly wanted to use a heavy armor artificer. I figured I'd go into the abilities that interact with rage, and I noticed something odd- at least, within Prism, the app I use for dnd sheets.
For some of the Totem Spirits, such as Bear, it doesn't specify that you can't be wearing heavy armor for the benefits it gives while raging. However, for Eagle and Elk, it DOES specify you can't wear heavy armor to receive the effects. This seems to be a quirk that several websites have too where some features oddly don't have the specification that you can't wear heavy armor to receive an effect, unlike the normal rage text, and other subclass text.
Another thing to note is that nowhere does it say you can't rage while wearing heavy armor- simply that you gain the benefits of the level 1 Rage feature if you don't wear heavy armor while using it. If you Don heavy armor, it also doesn't end the rage (or at least, not because you put it on- It takes 10 minutes to don heavy armor anyway) BUT for Bladesingers, which have a similar feature, doning medium or heavy armor or a shield is specified to end the blade song. So for anyone that is wondering, I CAN rage while wearing heavy armor- I simply wouldn't gain advantage on Strength stuff or get bonuses or resistance from the lvl 1 feature.
I'm sure that, Rules as Intended, this is likely an oversight, but Rules as Written, wouldn't the Bear Totem Barbarian running sub-optimal heavy armor gain resistance to everything except for psychic, despite not gaining a bonus to melee attacks and other standard rage stuff? And how likely is it that it isn't intentional, but simply poor wording on the part of WOTC?

I always had a spark in my eyes back then and I can't help but be proud of that spark. I was so innocent, but during the pandemic, I went through some pretty terrible shit. I knew stuffs that I wish I never knew, and I saw stuffs that I wish I never saw. I lost my spark.
However, over the past years, I've made some new friends and got reunited with my greatest friend. It's been good, but I've never been the same. I can no longer see the world the same way again, or feel happiness the way I used too.
I always find myself crawling back into that same cycle of darkness. It's the only place I feel safe and comforted, even though no one's there.
Will that spark in me ever return?

With Jagex's recent investment into holiday events, we see a pattern of attempts to monetize Ironmen by offering pay for convenience features via bonds.
Stepping back a year when Carlyle tried to boost their numbers prior to the sale to CVC, we had hero pass. Again a system where Ironmen were incentivized to pay for convenience by purchasing hero pass levels with real money.
Premier membership offers the 100 extra bank spaces to normalize Ironmen into filling their bank then do a rug pull so Ironmen are incentivized to commit to a 1 year membership because it is more convenient than clearing 100 bank spaces.
Not to mention all the bank boosters, keepsake keys, and a variety of cosmetics that are unavailable through standard gameplay.
These are just direct monetization.
How monetization for main accounts affects Ironmen is an entire other issue and I just don't care enough to go into the details. Just briefly how I feel when someone tells me that it's none of my business if someone wants to blow 800 keys every few months.
My response to that is, why would Jagex as a game studio invest in their developers, increase their budget for game updates, and improve their game, when they can put the least amount of effort possible and promote MTX, holiday items, TH key offers, and double XP weekends?
tl;dr, mtx affects ironman, don't bury your head in the sand. telling people to play ironmen is not a serious argument.

This happened a long time ago, circa 2006. My wife and I were renting an apartment. We were both late 20s early 30s. Our front door faced our neighbors front door. He was a young kid, very early 20s. He had a “friend” who started living there too. I figured out they were a couple when I looked out the peephole and saw them kissing on the front porch. But I digress…
One day I came home from somewhere and there was a trail of dripping blood on the sidewalk. It led right up to my neighbors door. I followed it the other way and it led to a pool of blood.
I of course immediately think the worse. I don’t want to knock on his door because we weren’t real friendly and I didn’t want to end up his second victim of the day. So I called the cops.
Out my sliding glass door, I see them follow the train to the blood puddle, then the other direction to the apartment where they knock. Original kid answers, and they ask if everything is all right, that there was a trail of blood leading to his apartment. He says “oh, it’s nothing. My friend and I had a fight but it’s ok now”. The cops ask to speak to the friend, but he says that he’s talking a nap. My thought was “LOOK IN THE FREEZER!! He’s in the freezer!!!!”
Anyway, disappointingly, after the cops insist, the other kid comes to the door and is fine. But I thought I had a murder mystery on my hands. Kid was a jerk, I was glad when he moved out and a very nice young lady moved in there.
We also had potheads that lived above us, but that’s a story for a different time.

Now that Aloe Vesta perineal cleansing foam is discontinued does anyone have a good alternative. I'm looking for someone that uses to use it but can't find any good alternatives now. 2025.01.24 08:25 Dogbold Ace and SVP Doesn't Really Mean You're the Best On the Team
There has been many times I saw a Strategist with Ace, and then at the end SVP, because they had kills, and kills are valued way way way higher than healing or anything else.
So naturally they think they're amazing, the best player on the team, and absolutely not why we lost.
But they still can be why the team lost.
I have seen several matches where someone like Jeff or Rocket had Ace while the match was going on and SVP at the end, blaming other people on the team, thinking it's absolutely not their fault why we lost. Except it is, because they were more focused on doing damage over healing, and because of that we didn't get enough healing as a team and repeatedly died.
I look at the scoreboard, and our Rocket is 10 kills, 8 assists, and 17k healing. But the enemy Rocket is only 3 kills, 27 assists, and 26k healing. If our Rocket just did the same, focused on healing, then we most likely would have won.
But you can't say anything like this, you can't judge them, you can't be upset at them, because they have SVP so that means that the loss "obviously" had nothing to do with them and they are 100% blameless and perfect and it's everyone else's fault.
I hate Ace and SVP, it's a trap, and too many times people use it as a shield for why they did nothing wrong, everyone else on their team sucks, and they only lost because they have bad teammates.
