I literally lost every single game in the event cause some how some way I was matched with someone who already had Melodie and they would just sit in the corner the whole entire game and do nothing. I feel supercell should add a report button for challenges so stuff like this doesn’t keep happening it doesn’t make sense that players can just sit in the corner the whole game and sabotage other players with no consequences to them.

I haven't been on Reddit for a few months now. Just been living life and ignoring the world. One of my favorite things is to meet new people, and one of my favorite ways of doing that has always been using these subreddits. I decided to check back in and see how everyone's doing out there. It's crazy out there!
I'm just a guy doing his best to take care of his girl and our cat. My days are spent performing my duties as a stay at home boyfriend. Whether that's cooking, cleaning, fixing things, or just playing video games, depends on the needs and wants of the day.
I'd like to hear about how life is going for you, what you've been thinking about, or what worries you. Your individual life is interesting and I wanna know about it.
I enjoy thrifting, spending time with close friends, and playing/collecting video games, and going for long walks. Exploring new places is fun! I read mostly autobiographies and WWII history books.

Parallels and opposites: Xavier and Sylus Forgive me if a lot of these are obvious, or if they're a bit far fetched. I can''t help myself when I get into a theory hole!
I'm just going to go over whatever parallels / opposites I've noticed between Xavier and Sylus. We don't know loads about Caleb yet, but I'll likely do the same for him and Zayne. And it seems pretty much confirmed we will have a sixth LI, so I might theorise about them and Rafayel!
Disclaimer: I don't have the og 3 limited myths, and haven't watched them as I am PRAYING for reruns and don't want it too spoiled for myself. Having said that, I do ofc know some basics of them, and if anyone wants to add to the discussion with spoilers, I personally won't mind :)
  1. Light evol vs. Nocturnal creature: I don't think it's been explained WHY Sylus can't heal during daylight or daytime, but it seems significant enough to me that Xavier's evol is light, and Sylus' is a dark, red and black Mist. So light and dark are the contrasts here!
  2. Prince vs Dragon: Xavier is a Prince of Philos, and Sylus is a Dragon from Philos, a fairytale trope about a Prince fighting a dragon.
  3. Natural partners vs. Natural enemies: Xavier and MC are often paired as training partners, work partners, etc. Whereas Sylus and MC are destined enemies.
  4. Saving a sacrifice vs. Self-Sacrifice: this one's a bit more abstract but it only struck me recently when replaying branch stories! Xavier wants to break the cycle of sacrificing MC, in order to save her, at the cost of his planet. Sylus on the other hand, sacrifices himself in order to save MC from himself. In a sense, they are BOTH sacrificing themselves, so that she can live, it just seems Xavier met MC at a time before he could save her as he was too young and had no idea. (Tbh this one ties into all of the LI stories with MC, right? Poor MC and LIs)
  5. How old are you REALLY? This one feels like a stretch even for me, but it's interesting to think about! Xavier APPEARS very young, however he is actually really old. Hard to even guess HOW old, but perhaps its near 1,000 years, or plus? Like damn. Sylus on the other hand, is the oldest LI (so far) in physical age, and was also locked away for like 1,600 years as a dragon, but MC pointed out in his myth that he is actually quite a young dragon. Of course, he would be older and more experienced now lol.
  6. Resenting vs. Accepting who they are: Xavier seems to resent being a Prince and does not wish to become king because of what it would mean. Sylus, on the other hand seemed to grow up not wanting to be a dragon because he was so afraid, but seems to now accept a lot more about himself.
  7. Gifting flowers: with Jeremiah owning a flower shop and all, Xavier seems to have quite the green thumb, and we see on a good few occasions him and MC tending to flowers, around flowers, or something of that sort. And it seems Xavier is more often the one gifting them to MC. Sylus on the other hand, is often gifted flowers by MC, both in his limited myth and in smaller interactions between them in current timeline.
  8. Loneliness by choice vs. Circumstance: Xavier without MC seems to be quite a loner, but it's by choice more than anything else. Comparatively, Sylus is more isolated by circumstance, being seen as a threat and danger because... he is lmao.
  9. Being liked by animals vs. Liking animals: xavier seems to attract small creatures to him, and tbh I have NO idea why this happens to him hahaha does anyone else? Is it because he smells like food all the time? Or does his light evol remind animals of the sun and its warmth? I really want to know! In contrast, Sylus seems to have such a soft spot for animals that don't really have it for him... not sure if I would say he is disliked by them, but he does talk about being scratched by cats a few times. And he seems to have an interesting affect on them, but thats also something I don't fully understand or can explain what it is.
I think that's it! Tbh there are a lot of personality traits in every LI that I would love to see explained somehow, but I understand people are allowed to just have traits that don't necessarily come from or have to do with their lore lmao. For example: Xavier often mentions different versions of himself, and which one does MC like most. Sylus says things like MC can be whoever she wants and he will give her that freedom. Xavier has a jealous streak, and Sylus has gaslit himself into believing he can sing (I think MC has gaslit herself into believing it too) ((even if he is improving 🥹🥹)). Even Sylus can become insecure, which I never expected until I read the most recent 4 star memory: Ordinary Traces (my SHAYLA my heart BROKE). And does Xavier just emanate Prince charming and hero energy without meaning too? He is so funny with everything he says about being adored by people and children and animals, and it kinda freaks him out lmfaooooo (as a person with resting nice face, SAME).

PE with cardiomegaly? Hey guys! So I (31 F) recently went to the ER for some pretty bad shortness of breath and they did a CT to see if I had a pulmonary embolism (PE) and they found pectus excavatum (much different PE) as well as mild cardiomegaly. I'm in a unique position where I have access to the raw data on my own scan being a CT tech at the ER I was seen at and was able to measure my images and on this scan I have an index of 2.7 (I was also breathing through the scan so that number is probably low). Does anybody have any experience with having both conditions or know how it would effect a doctors decision to perform a repair?

Ich weiß nicht ob ich hier mit meiner Frage richtig bin, aber versuchen wir es mal.
Ich wohne zur Miete in einem Wohnblock. Der Vermieter von uns ist ein Geizhals, der diese Blöcke für einen extrem niedrigen Preis gekauft und renoviert hat, weil sie eigentlich hätten abgerissen werden sollen.
Er hat das nötigste gemacht, damit die Wohnungen wieder vermietet werden können und mir fällt nach und nach immer mehr auf was hier nicht stimmt, ich wohne seit 2021 hier.
Nun hat mir meine Nachbarin von ganz unten erzählt, das letztens Leute hier waren, die das Wasser geprüft haben. Sie wohnt seit 20 Jahren hier, und das ist noch nie passiert. Die Blöcke sind aus den Sechzigern. Und nun befürchte ich, dass irgendwas mit den Wasserrohren nicht stimmt. Es ist ja möglich, dass dort immer noch die Bleirohre verlegt sind, besagte Nachbarin hat auch gesagt, dass die Rohre in ihrer Zeit hier nie getauscht worden sind.
Ist das möglich? Uns sagt niemand was, ich mache mir sorgen weil ich und mein Kind das Leitungswasser immer trinken, ungefiltert, weil eigentlich die Qualität hier sehr gut ist, und der Kalkgehalt sehr gering.
Kann man vielleicht selbst auch die Wasserqualität testen?
