 | The lizards rode again last night with a 1000pts of dwarf allies against the foul Chaos dwarfs and the fouler Skaven. My army got wiped out by turn 4 due to a combo of solid plays from our opponents and some terrible luck. I actually don’t know how things ended but again a few things I’m going to keep in mind. Skinks continue to be the primary damage dealers in any list I’ve run so far. The barrage of poison continues to be very annoying. Chorfs and Skaven synergise really well one guy bought basically 1000pts of warmachines and a wizard on a Lamasu while the Skaven player bought giant rats, clarets and a frighteningly buffed bunch of gutter runners along with some other stuff. The chaff war machine combo meant you could were permanently under threat from ‘something’ which made things very tense. Saurus continue to be useless, scoring a grand total of two kills! This was my first time playing opponents who could seriously do shooting. The buffed gutter runners had a wizard who gave them fly which meant they could zip about and pepper targets with poison attacks. This was devastating and caused the deaths of 1 regiment of skinks, my Saurus and my Old-blood. The dread-quake mortar was also nasty, stripping swiftstride off my ripperdactyls and softening up my Kroxigor to the point where they fell over to giant rats. My allies had some terrible luck with dwarf miners that just failed to show! And rangers that also got shot to death by gutter runners but the cannons and thunderers were amazing at shredding and breaking chaff units. The cannons even scored some long range hits at the end and blew the mortar to fragments. So the lesson I’m taking here with shooty stuff is speed speed speed. I should have replaced the Krox with cold ones or more rippers and probably the Saurus too! The other frustrating thing is wizard tax. To take a lvl 4, I need a Slann. Any idea on when I can get my scram bracelet removed. I don’t mind wearing it it’s just the cost of it is so ridiculously high 387 per month. I’m approaching 3months with it on in 18 days and I have no clue on when it could be removed. I was arrested on October 13th, 2024 and ordered to get the device installed within 30days. So I saved myself some money installing it with two days left. I got myself a lawyer in early December and they require a case number to file a motion to remove it but it’s been close to 4months since the arrest and I call constantly to the clerks office for the case number but nothing is available. Every week I try for it the same response I get (it probably hasn’t been filed try again next week). I was speeding at 108 in a 75 zone so i understand that this impacted condition of my bail. Also it is a condition of my bail so im not sure how this stuff works, I don’t have criminal history other than speeding tickets. I’m new with this law stuff. I had a dmv hearing on December 9th, it was rescheduled due to my lawyer not receiving the discovery. Rescheduled hearing is coming up on the 27th of this month so I’m prepared to lose my license sadly. Getting a dwi is the worse and I hate the fact that the law have you and your wallet in their hands while others join in on the fun of picking at your wallet for years to come. I’ll be sure to never do anything such as this again because I don’t like working for free and I don’t like being in the hands of people who can put me away for some time.
