So my best friend has started dating my ex but it gets more complicated, they were friends before me and (Let's say Sam) were dating, but after me and Sam broke up she and him started dating about 2 weeks after. Also, she's the only person I told all the details about the breakup including all the horrible things he did you me. I'm really hurt and I've told her we can't be friends and blocked her cause I feel super betrayed, but am I overreacting about it all or are my feelings justified??

2025.01.24 11:11 pds314 Giant Anteater speed?
I have seen a lot of things online saying that giant anteaters can run either 30 mph or 50 kph. This is never given a citation and it seems like it's just one of those facts that "everyone knows" I have never seen a source for this. Given they are a Xenarthran obligate insectivore with a mesothermic body temperature and I've never seen a video of them exceeding about 10 kph under any circumstances, including running away from predators, consider me skeptical. They also do not seem to have running away as a default predator response. Encountering a Jaguar or something usually seems to result in them ignoring it or harassing it with their claws. It seems strange for a prey animal that can run quickly to simply charge at a cat larger than it is which also suggests to me that they don't really think speed is the answer.
Is there a study anywhere that looks at how fast giant anteaters either do, can, or should be able to move? Like, is 50 kph actually reasonable? Is there video of them outrunning a cyclist or a car or a dog or something that could suggest they are actually capable of sprinting?

2025.01.24 11:11 Bring_back_the_acog Youtube patch not installing, comes up with update app
To start off with, I have disabled the original youtube app in my settings.
I have downloaded the apk for the recommended app version on revanced.
But whenever I try to install the app after patching, it comes up with a promt to update youtube, and then the installation fails as it can't update due to conflicting files.
Any help with this issue would be much appreciated

2025.01.24 11:11 Remote_Soil_7559 my aunt who hates our family has three days left
my aunt and my grandma has always thought the allowances our parents they gave as for something granted. when we left to abroad (dad's job) they got mad at us for 'abandoning' them there, despite my aunt inheriting my grandpa's money and his house. we also borrowed them money on multiple occasions on than the allowances, and once again so they could buy a new apartment flat. this all hasn't been repaid, so my dad tried to cut off ties with them. we still send them tiny allowances though. my aunt, who has cancer stage 3 (or so it seems) always sends my dad a monthly text of how he is going to kill them, and that he abandoned them for his own family (what??).
but now, the doctors called my dad saying my aunt at most has 3 days left. i really hate her and grandma so much for being such a hateful to my dad and my mom and my brother, and i just really can't bother going to her funeral. should i go, as a common courtesy?

2025.01.24 11:11 Significant-Box-5864 Script ideas/ movie ideas that I’ve thought of.
I’m not a writer to be honest but I’ve thought of some movies that I’d like to see get made. Possibly some good ideas.
Idea number one: A young man inherits a decent amount of money from his family. He’s kind of a lonely person, and gets the idea from a movie to start paying people to do crazy stuff on camera. Or just offering people obscene amounts of money to do moderately bad things. Like a mean prank, cheating on their spouse, starting a fight, shaving their head on video, saying something racist, etc. Just like weird, not extreme things but definitely bad. Like offering someone 30k to cheat on their wife. Obviously these schemes would be a lot more complicated and well fleshed out. But that’s the general idea. At the end of the movie he ends up ruining someone’s life and they kill him.
Idea number two : Extremely lonely young man develops an obsession with audio recording random people’s conversations. Like a scene of him planting small audio recording devices on the bottom of a park bench, In a hotel hallway or room. This starts as a weird hobby mainly. This movie would be more of an exploration of what loneliness does to someone’s mind. I’d want it to have like a weird, tense tone to it where the audience can’t tell if the main character is a bad person or not, and wonders where his mind is at when he does and says the things he does. At some point he gets desperate enough to try to strike up a conversation with a girl that he’s previously audio recorded. They become friends, and she finds out about his hobby of audio recording random people and stops talking to him. This pushes him into doing more risky recording attempts. He starts intervening in the lives of the people he’s been listening to. Maybe he upgrades to blackmail, or armed robbery. Eventually ending up alone or dead at the end. I don’t think I’d want the audience to be directly in the main characters mind, it would be more of an objective directing style. The audience gets to examine the actions of the character form a neutral lense.
