"Hates" a strong word, but for me it's the Wave Runners, and I'll explain why ...
I only got into Yeezys recently, I've obviously seen and heard about the classics like the Bred or Zebra 350s, but I didn't know the story behind them, and wasn't there when they dropped. For me at least, nostalgia has a lot to do with it.
Take the grape Jordan 5s for instance, I was a little kid when they released, but my older brother had them and I vividly remember how much I loved them. Had they never existed though and dropped today for the first time ever, I wouldn't like them nearly as much.
So back to the Wave Runners, I'm just not a fan of the aesthetic. I have Salt 700s so I like the silhouette, but I think it's the teal and orange I don't like.
Anyone else have a classic Yeezy you don't like? If so, what about it don't you like?

I know they’re innocent but anyone who tries to relate to me by mentioning that they either: considered going to go to law school, took the LSAT, or “did really well in a criminal justice class.” The most annoying part is how they look at you expecting you to be in awe.
Or people who say things like “I wanted to go to law school, but I didn’t want to have a career where I’m pushing paperwork all day!”
They were annoying as a law student. But now several years in my career whenever they come up I just don’t have the patience to indulge them anymore.
Again, I know they’re innocent. I know that they don’t know what this career is actually like so it’s not their fault. But still. Annoying when they come up.

As a Scrum Master, I've been reflecting on how our daily standups and other ceremonies sometimes feel more like a security blanket than actual value-add activities. Team's been joking that they spend more time reporting on work than doing it, and honestly? They might have a point.
Started trying something different - made standups optional twice a week, encouraged more organic team interactions, and focused on removing impediments instead of just talking about them. The interesting part? Our sprint goals are actually being met more consistently, and the team seems more engaged.
Fellow SMs, what's your experience with this? Have you found ways to maintain transparency without falling into the meeting trap? Curious if others are seeing similar patterns in their teams.

Hey guys! I wanted to ask here since most of you know how hard it is to reduce media intake as an autistic person. I don’t need something in the background or constantly something I can watch when I am with friends and family, but as soon as I’m alone I need constant stimulation or else I will get really stressed out. My thoughts are not really scary or traumatic, they’re just exhausting. Existing as pretty exhausting. When I go into communities that are focused on digital minimalism they don’t really get how difficult it is as a disabled person and that it’s often way harder to reduce media intake. I am already pretty stressed as is so I wanted to know if you guys tried something that eases someone into sitting alone with their thoughts. Because I really want to get back into reading, but I can’t really concentrate on it because it’s not stimulating enough and if I have something running in the background, I sometimes can’t take in what I read.

I just had a match where the enemy Spider-Man absolutely dominated us. He had 32 kills.
he ripped people to pieces, constantly wiped the backline of healers and moved away just as fast as he came in. He was relentless.
This surprised me, because in general I never experience Spider-Man as a threat. This is actually the first time since day one that I experience how dangerous he can be.
Is this just because of the high skill requirement?

It seems like small town is killing me, the economy is horrible, the only viable career options are retail and food services. Travel is hell and expensive. And the dating scene is even worst and that’s not talking about entertainment. As much I love Northern Cali sometimes there’s a lot of negatives that are dragging me down. Hey all, we just recently purchased our leased gle 350 and found out today is the last day we can buy the extended limited warranty. We have about 41,000 miles we’ve put on it with nothing going wrong outside the normal maintenance.
The brakes are also due to be changed soon and they quoted us around 1700 and 2100 (front and back separately) pretax.
The extended limited warranty is around 4800 for 3 years. Any suggestions on if we should or shouldn’t get it (adding both up adds about an extra 10k being dumped into the car)

The overall condition of the laptop is excellent, apart from the smeasmudge on the top left of the screen. It is mainly visible in white/bright backgrounds. I went to the Apple Store to see if they would change my screen, but they found out that this smudge is from water entering the panel (obviously I wasn't able to "trick" them) So I decided to buy a replacement display from AliExpress (which is about 160 euros). If I change the whole assembly, I will lose True Tone and probably I will have issues with the lid angle sensor However, there is an option to buy only the panel (without the house) and "replace" it myself. Has anybody done it? Is it doable?
