2025.01.24 13:11 gelsnake I intentionally run many apps/tabs on my M1 air that causes it to freeze and force reboot, will upgrade to m4, just wondering if m4 air would suffice or m4 pro (no issues waiting for release).
Hey, so I trade on my laptop.
I generally always have like 20 tabs open regardless of whether I'm trading or not.. but having think or swim open with bookmap charts open REALLY hoses up my machine, especially when I also have webull open, and trading view with 8 charts going.
Sometimes I wake up and it has restarted overnight when not even in use.
So clearly the m1 isn't enough, and I'm ok with that for now. However, the m4 allows 2 external displays WITH LID OPEN, and I need that. So the m4 is the minimum requirement for me to upgrade.
I'm just wondering if the m4 with many many tabs open, webull, think or swim charts, and trading view charts, will the m4 air be enough or would I need to shell out for the pro? I'd assume 95% of the time I wouldn't be traveling with it, but as trading is going well I might want to trade on the go while traveling, the air would be better for weight/carrying costs, but performance is the most important for me, without wanting to just spend money on overkill. If I could get away with an air, I'll choose that.
Not really a fan of buying and returning things, either, lol.

Hi! Been living in Makati our entire lives and my wife and I decided to buy an empty lot in Alabang due to it being much more affordable and for it being a potential asset to pass on to our kids.
Our work is both located in Makati near Buendia Skyway exit and no issues naman sa car / gas expenses due to the lot being much cheaper than Metro Manila. We also feel that Alabang might be much more accessible to Makati than San Juan / QC area.
Having second thoughts due to the unfamiliarity in the area. Anyone here living in Alabang care to share their insights? What to expect? Also, how is Alabang with a growing family? Having a hard time to decide due to the possible change of lifestyle, convenience and building a house also costs a lot these days.

Hi there,
We recently moved into a house with a small garden. Our son has mobility challenges so we're trying to figure out the best way of making the whole of the garden accessible to him. We're putting in doors at the back of the house as per the picture. Our original plan was to install a ramp from the door to ourside and then from the lower level to the higher level where the stairs currently are.
As we've thought about this more, given the height of both the house to the outside and then from the first level up to the higher level of the garden, and the fact that the garden is very small for the ramps to not be too steep it takes up a lot of space and seems like it isn't a good idea.
What other options do you think we should consider? To me it seems levelling the garden by lowering the top section and having a single ramp from house to garden is the most straightforward option but don't have any experience with this stuff so thought best to see if there is anything I'm missing that might be better.

I met him on a study site and I never thought it would come to this. We're basically on the opposite poles of the country but that doesn't stop me from loving him. He fell for me before he saw me. It was just our conversations that brought us closer. I just realised that I started writing this post but I'm at loss of words. It's so difficult to put it in words but yeah he's the best thing that happened to me. Love really does finds it's way into your life when you least expect it. He makes me happy and take care of me like nobody else ever did(obviously apart from parents) and makes sure that I never feel bad about myself. I love this feeling of belonging somewhere He's my go to person now. I have so much respect for the kind of person he is. The purest soul honestly. I wish we could spend more time with him irl tho but ig thinking about the time when we can finally be together keeps us going. To all the couples out there in LDR, you guys got it!!!
