So my bf is an immigrant and with everything going on I’m scared of ice taking him we been together for a year and the thought of them taking him makes me sick and not able to sleep and I just want to be with him forever I see a future with him I want to marry him I want to be with him but I’m scared to go out with him even to the corner store and I feel bad with all the stress he is going through he can’t find a job and I want to be with him I was born her in the us but I keep thinking of the possibility of them taking him and I can’t stop thinking about it and I haven’t been able to sleep for days and I can’t eat I started to take melatonin to help with sleep and with eating he is helping me but I get so scared to go out with him even though I would be fine I just want to be with him and the thought of them taking him makes me want to relapse because I even told him I’ll go over there with him because I want to be with him no matter what happens but he said no I need to stay here if he ever gets taken away because there is nothing over there for me once he is stable over there then I can go but I want to be with him thick and thin no matter what happens (I’m sorry I just wanted to vent about this) I talked with it to my therapist and she is kinda helping but it’s just still in the back of my head and I feel bad for him I want to be able to go out and go on dates with him without having to worry about Ice taking him if we ever go out it would only be an hour or a few mins and i know he is bored having to stay home but I try my best to keep him company but I can still tell he is bored and wants to go out we want to go to a show tomorrow but now I’m thinking of staying because what if something happens when we are at the show I just don’t know I just wish ice could just fuck off and leave everyone alone and let them live their lives they are human beings and it’s wrong they are ripping families and relationships and friends apart I hope they all burn in hell I just want to be with him.. that’s all I want he been the sweetest bf I ever had all my last relationships where shitty but he is the one for me I don’t want to lose that I see a future with him I want to be with him until we are old farts I just want to be with him. Minecraft is a hugely popular game, but not everyone knows how to play it.
I’d like to share some key points, in my opinion, that can help explain what you’re supposed to do in the game.
Here’s a few things I’ve noticed:
- Minecraft is unique in its nausea and headache inducing abilities, at least for me. I’m shocked that I hung in there because the physical discomfort was intense! I’m not sure how long I’ve been playing now, but the nausea/headaches are totally gone. I can play for hours now without an issue.
- It’s also a pretty intimidating game to get into without someone to show you the ropes. Most of the people I’ve played with tend to fall in one of three play styles: explorers, builders, or “engineers” (I don’t know if there’s a better word for that).
- Explorers like to go out and find caves and different biomes and just sort of wander around to see what they can discover. If you’re playing on a team and one of you is a builder, it’s super helpful to have one person who prefers to explore because they can gather materials while you build.
- Builders usually start out with some basic huts and progress to castles, lighthouses, or really anything your brain can dream up. It’s LEGO in digital form. Some people like to come up with their own designs and some follow tutorials on YouTube that will tell you exactly what materials you need and guide you block by block on the construction.
- Engineers are the kings and queens of red stone, a material used to make things move. It’s how you build machines that automatically grow crops, open doors, and more.
- Once you find your footing, there is a ton to discover in the game. You’ll want to craft weapons and tools to defend yourself and gather materials. You’ll start with wood tools, but then want to upgrade to stone, iron, and eventually diamond. (And possibly netherite? Someone correct me, I can’t remember if there are netherite tools) The tools break so you’ll want to keep a supply of wood/stone whatever on hand to craft new ones.
- To craft with wood, you’ll generally need to turn it into planks first. You don’t need a crafting table to do that, but you will need a crafting table for most things you want to make. Including chests! Make lots of chests so you can store materials for your backup tools.
- You’ll also need to eat. Meat will generally keep you fuller longer than fruit, but you need to cook it first. That requires crafting a furnace and using either coal or wood as a fuel source. If you eat it raw, you’ll poison yourself. (Don’t ask me how I know )
I’m probably forgetting a things, but these basics may help in terms of being less frustrated with the basic gameplay. Seriously, there is a TON to discover so don’t be shy about keeping an eye on the sub to start getting familiar with what’s in store. I hope you have fun!

We (family) booked a stay at Lions Dive in July and rented a car during the stay. I've checked Google Maps for the available parkingspots at the resort and to me it looks like when it's fully booked or a busy season, I may not be finding a spot available at the resort.
Google Maps shows a few parkinglots near Lions Dive, but I've read the parkinglot at Mambo Beach isn't without risks when parking overnight, so what would be a good nearby alternative for parking overnight when the parkinglot at Lions Dive is overcrowded?

2025.01.24 13:12 GoBestfriend- Probation officer said he would be sending a VOP to the courts for an FTA warrant arrest.

Rewind to last year, march of 2024 I got pulled over for speeding, window tint. Had court regarding this in July but the thing is I ended up committing my first felony. In June, resulting in an obvious FTA - Warrant. Note that the traffic violation vs the felony was in 2 different counties. So I obviously couldn’t go to court in the other county.. spent 4 months in jail accepted plea deal. Released to probation. BUT the jail put a hold on me due to this warrant, attached to the hold was only a $150 bail/fine w.e. I ended up getting that paid and a court date scheduled… No problem and released that same night, I was so excited to be released. But so anxious about how probation was gonna be etc etc it’s my fault. I should have remembered. But the very first time I meet with my probation officer. He takes my finger prints and mouth swab. BOOM 3 officers walk in the office with cuffs in hand. Probation officer said “sorry this is the part of my job that I hate” I simply put my head down. And fully accepted the consequences. There was no talking my way out of it. Running. No point in fighting or arguing or nothing. Just acceptance and silence. I asked my PO one thing. “Are you going to violate me for this??” And he told me no he wasn’t. He tells me to call him when I get released. The jail set my bond at $500 dollars. I was gonna pay it but decided I’d wait to see a judge the following day. To hopefully get this all over it.. the prosecutor allowed me to plead guilty to speeding and dismiss the window tint violation. I agreed. One day spent in jail. Processed and released that same night. Planned to call my po that morning but woke up to a text from him asking if I was released. I called and him and said yes I was he apologized again and set up a home visit for the following week, came in. Asked me how I was doing. Met my dog. And said oh “I am going to have submit a VOP to the attorneys office. And walked out. It’s been almost a month and I’ve met with him 3 times since.. I don’t wanna bring it up to him but does anyone know what’s going on? How long does these VOPs take /process .. should I contact my public defender ? To inform her of this.
