 | I'm gonna attempt to fish for some valuable, well-meaning discussion here rather than the dismissive approach that many posts get hit with on this sub, I think this is a topic that might actually interest Spider-Man players. I feel like it's no secret that Spidey's biggest problem, and point of major inconsistency, is the downtime attached to any one of his important abilities. At any given time your web shots, uppercuts, or web slings may be fully on cooldown, leaving you completely useless for a long period of time until they're back up. This creates a situation where a Spider-Man player at any rank can only be as good as the enemy support is bad. People glaze the idea that a cracked Spidey is an instant carry, and that because of that he's fine as-is, and while that can be the case, it flat-out ignores every other game that a Spider-Man player has where they go negative because their dive targets are receiving even an ounce of healing. My suggestion is this: replace the constant-regeneration of web shots with a more standardised reload, allowing you to regain your shots much faster, and giving you more control over your most important resource. To balance this, make it so that landing a Spider-Tracer requires you to land multiple web-shots. My gut says that two would be fair, but if that was too strong alongside this buff, you could increase the requirement to three. Potential adjustments to damage or fall-off numbers to help balance this aside, I think this would increase Spider-Man's presence in a fight, as well as offering him the option to poke at people before an engagement without it being a waste of resources. The flexibility of a standard reload would make it easier and less punishing to give up on a target once it becomes clear that you can't kill them, while keeping his skill ceiling and gameplay more or less the same. I think discussions about buffing Spider-Man are often inundated with people insisting that he's overpowered in the right hands, or that difficulty getting value is a part of his high skill-floor, when the truth is that Spider-Man is simply inconsistent. Almost any game dominated by a Spider-Man player could have been won regardless of what character they were playing, because the support line that he was up against either weren't good enough or weren't able to heal one-another. Spider-Man's burst damage is good, but he suffers from being denied a kill more than any other character in the game. Between two games a highly skilled Spider-Man player can either get 50 kills and single-digit deaths, or go completely negative depending entirely on the enemy support, and I think shifting such a high-skilled character's kit away from having it's value entirely dependent on the enemy healers not pressing one button to entirely negate every engagement you make is actually a very good idea. submitted by SiteAny2037 to marvelrivals [link] [comments] |

 | För några år sedan flyttade jag in i ett hus med flaggstång, och sedan dess har jag behövt byta vimpel minst en gång om året. I början var problemet främst att vimpeln slog knut på sig själv, men det har mer eller mindre löst sig efter jag började köpa en lite tjockare vimpel från Clas Ohlson. Det kan fortfarande bli en knut ibland men inte alls dagligen som det var på de varianter jag hade innan. Trots detta är jag ändå inte riktigt nöjd med den från Clas Ohlson heller, efter mindre än ett år är färgerna blekta och tyget börjar slitas sönder. Finns det någon vimpel man kan köpa som håller längre eller är det helt enkelt nåt man köper nytt varje år? You know how everyone always says that Splinter favours Leo over his brothers? Well I have another interpretation of that.
Splinter told Raphael that he was the reason The Shredder became what they know him as. He told him that if he hadn't snapped at his brother he wouldn't have lost his wife,daughter, brother and their father.
Sure, he could've said that to tell him that he understood how Raph felt.
He also could've told him to make him realise how much his words can affect the people he loves.
Splinter sees himself and his brother when he sees his two older sons.
He sees two brothers arguing harmlessly one second, and two enemies the next.
He can't help it. One of his sons is careless with his words, wanting them to hurt without thinking of the consequences, and the other is calmer, more calculating and perceptive, and his actions hurt more.
He tries to steer his eldest from the wrong path, hammering morals and positivity into him since his youth, so he won't turn into his brother's worst enemy.
Splinter doesn't favour Leonardo. He is scared of him. Scared of what he might turn into.
He doesn't want his son to grow with hatred and jealousy, so he does what he could, even if it sometimes seemed like he doesn't love his sons as much.
Then when he realizes that he's going to die, he intrusts his children to him, as it will force him to live for them, and he will have to think about them before ever considering revenge on anyone.
Leonardo only killed the Shredder when it became glaringly obvious that he would never stop until the Hamatos' are dead, seeing as there was no other options.
TL;DR: Splinter was scared that Leo would grow up like Shredder so he acted more affectionate towards him, but he loves the other three just as much.
I like to think Raph and Karai act like younger Yoshi, Mikey and Donnie kinda like Tang Shen, and Leo is mostly similar to Saki.

I am currently working on getting the achievements for Solasta. I want to create some magic items my party can use, while I get the enchantment achievement. I go to get the recipe at the merchant and it doesn't show if I already know this recipe or not. So I have to back out of the sale and look. Then the recipe doesn't really give me any information about what is needed to craft this and what the stats are of the item once crafted. I think all this should be in the User Interface while browsing the merchant.
I love Solasta and hope that the devs will add this to the Solasta 2 (that I will buy as quickly as it becomes available. I'm a fan)

Currently at season 2 rn, specifically at the Bo and Cheyenne wedding episode. I see what they're trying to do with Amy and Jonah, but I'm a little on the fence about it? I can see them as a couple, sure... But honestly, they are so much better off as friends. I think the "will they, won't they" works kinda well for them. But, yeah they seem like a really good blueprint for healthy platonic relationships lol

I'm running into a problem with my SmartView Duo monitor (use it for SDI testing). From my AV7K300 board is fed through SDI color bar. The SDI OUT on the board is set to 1080p 60 Hz. When I receive color bar on SmartView Duo, it rattles very badly (attached photo for clarity). There was no such rattling on the other monitor. What can this problem be related to?
