Hey people, I had an idea for a funny gift. I want to print some tickets for my girlfriend which would have the text "Ticket to make me watch any movie of your choosing with up to 150 minutes".
Having as inspiration the movie tickets with detachable paper, I wanted to make this object with weak points intended for breaking, showing that the ticket was already used. I was looking for information on this, and I couldn't find easy sources, as every search on weak points will be over how you can make your objects stronger instead of an intentionally, regionalized, fragile design.
The only advice I found was with chatGPT, which said to make holes in the desired break region and reduce its thickness. I'm not sure if this is enough and how thick should it be to be easily breakable by hand. Has anyone ever done something like this, or has any clue on what could be a good starting point? I'll be using PLA as the material, and my printer is an ender v3, if this is relevant for the matter. I know I could create, edit and test several objects until I'm satisfied with what I found, but if someone has done that prior to me and could share their experience, it would help me a lot.

Yung teacher ko ngayon sa PE kilala bilang mahilig mambagsak ng mga studyante niya, yung tipong isang performance task lang yung kulang out of 3-5 performance task ay bagsak ka na. Ngayon, mayroon kaming performance task na kailangan 10 consecutive namin na ma-hit yung washer sa larong sipa, dalawang bahagi ng katawan ang pwede naming gamitin maliban na lang sa kamay. Ang problema niyan, ako ay mataba. Uncoordinated ako at kahit ni isa hindi ko talaga ma hit yung washer, aaminin ko na grade conscious akong tao. Kinausap ko yung teacher kung pwede ba iba na lang yung gagawin ko o di kaya ay babaan ko yung number ng hit, basta magka-score lang ako ay okay na sakin yun. Hindi siya pumayag, sabi pa niya tanging yung may medical condition lang yung pwedeng iba ang gawin. Wala akong medical condition pero nahihirapan ako dahil sa katabaan ko, nagmakaawa ako sa kanya na kahit dalawang hit lang yung gawin ko, kahut mababa yung makuha kung score okay na sakin pero gusto niya talag dapat sampung hit. Yung mga kaklase ko hindi sila makalagpas sa limang hit lalo na yung mga babae pero walang pakialam yung teacher namin.

Picture it: me with my tongs, manning the bbq station. I will wear the fancy chef hat, no shirt, shorts and flip flops.
You walking gracefully around the house with your Versace dress, making sure the guests are comfortable and everyone has a drink.
Anytime someone asks us if there are any vegetarian options, we gently yet firmly ask them to leave the party.
Our pet dog would constantly try to steal a piece of chicken from the table.
Every half hour, I will yell that a new batch of grilled chicken is ready and you would bring a fresh cold beer to me and a peck on the cheek.
The guys would watch the football game, the girls would be annoyed that the guys are watching the football game.
We would all sit outside on a large table on the lawn with Christmas lights on the trees.
We would just be surrounded by good food, good people and good vibes.
I am honestly done with just the whole anxiety, depression drama. I just want a chill buddy to sit and watch the sunrise with.

The ongoing question is, which is easier. Here is my take as an expert with both syllabi.
Long story short: there isnāt one that is easier than the other.
AA SL:
Math AA SL involves understanding more sophisticated mathematical concepts mainly in algebra, functions, trigonometry and calculus. It involves one paper with a GDC and one paper without, and so will require an intermediate level of mental math and algebraic simplifications.
The exam, however, is much more straightforward. If the question wants you to find the area of a triangle, it will literally say find the area of the triangle. If it wants you to find the probability of event A, it says find P(A). No bs involved.
AI SL:
Math AI SL has a much more broad set of topics, but each topic is covered to a much more shallow degree. There arenāt any mathematical concepts that are actually too hard to grasp apart from optimization in differential calculus. Both papers are GDC active and involve zero ability to do mental math. Algebraic manipulations are extremely limited in the exam and accumulate to a maximum of 5 marks from a total of 80. Meaning, if your mental math is nonexistent and your algebra is terrible that you canāt even factorize a quadratic function, then you can still score pretty well in theory in AI SL.
The exam, however, is extremely twisted relative to the level of math involved! In AI SL, there is no such thing as a direct question. Each problem has to be a word problem with a background story. Instead of find the area of the triangle, the question will read something like
āJack wants to water his garden. The garden enclosure is made up from three sidesā¦ etc.ā
So basically, itās a collection of in-context, word problems that you have to decipher in order to extract the math that is required to be solved. Once the math is extracted though, it is mostly very simple to solve.
Conclusion:
If you like math, are good with numbers and donāt have too much trouble with algebra, AA SL will be EASIER for you to score well in for your final exam. Even if it requires more effort during the diploma, you will score better.
If you donāt like math, are bad with numbers and struggle with basic algebra, then AI SL will be easier for you. Learning the skill of deciphering word problems will be your main obstacle, but with enough practice it will be possible for you to overcome partially or completely. Itās still probably easier than actually becoming good with math after being bad at it for 16 years of your life.

My general understanding is that if you have Si + a vowel, it makes a āshā sound like āsiopā, āeisiauā, āsiwgrā
So why do people say ālo-sh-inā and not āloss-inā?
Are there any other examples of this and what is the general rule regarding the āshā sound?
