 | I usually wake up with some wrinkles under my eyes it could be that my skin in thin under my eyes or does it actually look thin? But I’ve had these eye bags since I was very young. My eyes are also not symmetrical so that could also be causing this. I’ve also noticed that my under eye areas look more weak and sunken. Basically it was a tough week, last week. I’ve taken on a new educational post and it’s been a trial by fire in the first few weeks of the year. It has meant most of my social life has taken a back seat and probably will be for the foreseeable.
Anyhow, it’s not all doom and gloom. I have some holidays planned soon and I cannot wait to go on them. In the meantime though it would be great to chat and have some company here. I’m happy for short or long term chats.
A little about me: British, 6ft, athletic, work in mental health, love to be outdoors, and love to keep fit. That said, I do love to chill and do absolutely nothing and read or game too!

Hello, so I've been using this PC with i7-4790 for about 10 yrs now and bought a GTX1660 like 5 yrs ago, but I have a feeling that it is progressively aging and it is time for a change. As the processor and subsequently motherboard are now pretty old I would need to basically change everything but the GPU, which I insist on reusing since it is running good for now.
I will be mainly using the PC for studying, for which i won't be using some kinds of heavy rendering programs, and gaming (mainly League of Legends) and that is mainly the reason im upgrading since it is now running around 60fps with hard drops in teamfights.
The current config is:
CPU- i7-4790
GPU - Gigabyte GTX 1660 Triple Fan
RAM - 8GB DDR3 (very old)
1TB HDD and 128GB SSD (non-NVMe)
I have an 144Hz monitor so i would like to utilize this and aim for at least 144FPS on some low-end games. I'm not playing AAA games, so this wouldn't bother me much.
The budget I'm aiming for is around 500-600€ excluding periphery (mouse, keyboard, etc.), OS and case.
Things I insist on:
CPU - preferrably AMD Ryzen line
GPU - retaining my GTX 1660
1TB NVMe SSD
32 GB RAM DDR4 ( DDR5 config would simply be impossible in this price range afaik, but can go a bit over the budget for it as it's more futureproof)

So I started an application and a recruiter reached out to me pretty quickly. They wanted to connect me with a colleague for a chat where I could ask questions etc. They responded to me initially when I gave times that work for me and said today would be a good day to have a chat. Then I sent my number and I haven’t heard back since with a confirmation on the chat today with a specific time. I noticed an error in my email where I typed spending instead of sending. Idk if that is why I haven’t heard back. I just don’t know what I should do. If I should reach out to another recruiter to have a chat before I submit my application. Or should I just do it without any guidance.

I've been unemployed for a few months (it's tough out there y'all) I applied to over 500 jobs. I was woefully underpaid at my last position before I was laid off. I am very proud of myself that during my tough times, I cut back and lived on less than 900$ a month and managed to put a bit of my unemployment money away (usually about 100$ a month). I live in a very very low cost of living area and after I expanded my budget back to basic comfort and crunched the numbers, as long as I avoid lifestyle creep, I'll be able to put away about 2300$ a month. Wish me luck with the new job and for being able to groove on the rest of my debts and a house down payment.

Hi, I use a flex budget and for the past week or so, the app has displayed a banner at the top of the budget screen saying $75 left to budget. I have made my budget so there is not actually $75 left to budget, but the banner won’t go away. I’ve closed the app and reopened it, but the banner remains. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? It’s really displeasing and makes it look like my budget is off or needs to be fixed when in reality everything is balanced. Thnx for any advice.
