Hey all,
I am going through the process of getting documents updated. I wanted to get my name changed. My birth name is gender neutral so it doesn’t immediately out me, but I don’t go by it any more and haven’t for years. Doing this in the state I’m in shouldn’t be an issue. I wanted to update my birth certificate as well but, unfortunately, I was born in Florida. There is no way to update the sex marker to reflect the person I am now, and likely won’t be able to for a very long time.
I guess my question and worry is if it’s even worth it to go through with the legal name change if I can’t even update the other legal document. That is the only thing holding me back from having full legal backing to the gender I live as. It just feels like it’ll cause me more headache in the long run and possibly out me further.
Maybe a silly concern, but wanted to source opinions here regardless.

Ben op zoek naar zsm behandeling. Momenteel ineens sinds 4 mnd last van oncontroleerbaar trillen, druk in mijn hoofd. Heb daar in 2008 citalopram voor gekregen. Eerst moest fysieke oorzaak uitgesloten worden dus naar neuroloog. Ook weer lange wachttijd, mri gehad…niets te zien. Nu nog EEG en uitgebreid bloedonderzoek..Kan zijn dat die niet meer goed werkt zegt neuroloog. Wil wel graag afbouwen maar zo gaat dat niet nu. Dus daarom wel zsm consult medicus/psychiater maar wachttijden zijn erg lang en ben inmiddels wanhopig. Wil desnoods psychiater zelf betalen. Radboud poli psychiatrie kan optie zijn, wachttijd is 40 dagen. Controle medicatie is het meest urgent, verdere behandeling kan daarna wel weer. Radboud is/was aangesloten bij CASS18+ dus zou ook kennis van autisme kunnen hebben. Maar of dat nog steeds zo is nu dr vd Gaag weg is? Huisarts heeft mij verwezen naar PGZ, die heten nu ineens “Bloezem” 🙄Zouden dé autisme expert zijn maar na invullen van een vragenlijst van 16 pagina’s (and it’s not over yet..🥵)twijfel ik daar ernstig aan. Bovendien is daar de wachtlijst 18 maanden. Absurd! Iemand nog andere ideeën? Ik woon in Roermond. Thx alvast🙏🏼

Hi all, I got a lululemon mat for christmas and LOVE IT. It is the one that is 5mm and rubber on the top and a softer material on the bottom. My issue though is that it slides like crazy around on the floors. Does anyone know what to do to stop this? It is so annoying during class, especially when the class is crowded and im trying to not encroach on other people space.
Even the most basic things like getting into childs pose from tabletop, I can feel the mat slide backwards on the floor and it bunches between my hands and knees/almost tents upwards.
HELP!

AMEX is offering 100K points after spending $10K in the first 3 months.
I have a purchase in mind which will cost around $18K CAD (after conversion from USD) so that should satisfy the requirement.
My question is whether this offer is worth it, considering the annual fee is $799 plus $450 (foreign exchange fee for the transaction). And I'd convert the points to Aeroplan for future travel. So effectively, I am buying 100K AP for $1250.
You get an additional 40K points for making a purchase between 14-17 months but that means keeping the card for another year and paying the $799 annual fee which doesn't seem worth it. I have the Cobalt and will just keep that instead.

Hello everyone. I do apologize if this is not the place for this question. I'm not a Redditor by the slightest. I usually just browse.
A little about me, I have well over 20 years of maintenance experience, and 17ish years of managing maintenance staff, housekeeping staff, etc. I make what I make and have generally been fine over all. Recently, I've applied to and was offered a position with another company that would provide a $40k a year raise. It is a regional maintenance director position. It is for Long term care. It requires 60-80% travel and each building is about 250 miles from where I live. 5 or 6 buildings overall. Some overnight stays in their lodging is expected with this role.
I am on the fence on if I should take this job. The money is great compared to what I am making. I am looking for possibly a first hand account of someone or multiple someone's who have experience with being a regional.
For me its not all about the money. It also about my quality of life. For the position, I am not on-call perse however, if a maintenance person I'm supervising does call off or is off for an extender period of time, I'm expected to be in their role at their building while they are out. Not sure what i should do. Just looking for some advice.
