Hey everyone, so I’ve been non union since I started 4 years ago and I signed the books a couple months ago and got a call for a union company and the benefits sound amazing and the pay is way better but I talked to my non-union boss and he has gotten in my head about union always has long layoffs and that there is reason to work harder because there is no Merritt system. Saying there is a cap to everything I do there but where I’m at there isn’t. He offered me more money to stay non- union and it’s almost as much as the union will pay plus I’ll get to keep my company van. They do pay for our medical but I’m sure it’s not great and they don’t offer dental, instead they say they will pay a small percentage. And in the union I won’t have one atleast right away. I was so set on joining but now I’m confused. I do know people who said they were in the union but now aren’t because they were tired of the politics and just wanted to work. I’m someone who wants to be able to have someone fight for me and have a better life and quality of work life. I hate how I feel like I’m always working so hard just to keep my job and not get fired because of you slow down they get on to you so you have to run your body to the ground. Is the union like that? Will it be more relaxed?

2025.01.24 17:49 powerdarkus37 Christian is flawed because Christians cannot follow Jesus.
This is perhaps the biggest flaw of Christianity so I'll keep it simple. Of course to be a Christian you have to follow Christian Jesus right. Whenever I ask a Christian where in the Bible does Jesus say he is God and to follow him? They'll then show me a verse in English and last I check Jesus did not speak English. Jesus spoke aramaic and there is no Bible that's the original with aramaic text in it. So how do Christians know what the Bible or Jesus actually said? Like what if I add something to the Bible now. You could say you'd know it's not in the current Bible and I'd say yea it was removed from the original aramaic Bible, how could you prove that person wrong? Now my whole argument falls apart if a Christian can actually provide me with the original Bible of which i would actually like to read as well. For example we can compare the Qur'an and prophet Muhammad(PBUH) to the Bible and Christian jesus for a moment. And you'd see what i mean, because I can follow Muhammad(PBUH) and know what he said because we Muslims still have the original Qur'an that was around during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The original arabic is even in our translated Qur'ans next to the translated text plus we have millions who remembered it orally as well since the time of the Prophet(PBUH). So how do Christians know what's actually im the Bible without the original Bible? And how can they follow jesus if as an example if Christian Jesus were to come back and speak aramaic most if not all Christians nowadays couldn't understand him. But another example if Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) came back (by the way Muslims don't believe this, just an example) we Muslims even in modern day could understand him and when he talks about the Qur'an. How can Christian follow jesus if no Christian even speaks or understand the language jesus spoke in? I eagerly await yalls answers as this a big question of mine for my Christian friends. And I hope to have a civil debate.

 | Long time lurker, first time poster, but I just wanted to share this clock I made from an old saw blade. Bit of backstory, but my grandfather passed away a few years ago, and I inherited a miter saw from him. When I changed out the blade it had, I realized he had etched his name into the blade, which was in his handwriting. The blade sat in my garage for a couple years, as I couldn’t figure out what to do with it, until I saw a video of someone making a clock using them. My mom is really into clocks and has a bunch all over her house, so I decided to make this as a gift for her, so she could have a clock that has her dad’s handwritten name on the face. 2025.01.24 17:49 Enonnaig Kitchen Redesign for Pantry or More Storage
Looking for ideas to add some much needed storage or layout designs for our 13’x10’ kitchen. As you can see, we desperately need some sort of pantry and would love to get a coffee bar and/or island for more storage and seating.
I would be open to blowing out the wall (seen in 3rd pic) if that would help with design flow. If that happens, the wall would add another 3’ of space along the one side.
Open to any brainstorming thoughts!

There are some false declarations my wife has made against me that are serious but can be rebutted with these post-session emails. But could that be deemed as a general waiver of privilege about everything discussed with the therapist during the course of our 3 years of counselling sessions? What about emails between me and the same counselor that are just 1 on 1?
