Basically what the title says. I’m looking into Traveler’s Company notebooks for my upcoming trips and one of them being Japan. On the TNC USA site, they have the Tokyo Edition refill notebook which I plan to buy for my Japan trip but I would also like the cover too but it’s sold out everywhere. Does anyone know where I can find one without paying too much? I do have Kinokuniya where I live but it doesn’t seem like they have the cover in their online store. I plan to visit the store sometime this weekend.
Some context: I live in Seattle and this will be my first TCN so I’m a newbie lol.

2 days ago I visited my friend to do shrooms for the first time, we took a low dose and were initially disappointed to not feel anything but then as she was showing me something on her phone I started experiencing slight visual distortion. long story short we're like 3 hours in, really relaxed and I start rolling a joint, not expecting her to join since she dislikes smoking but she was like fuck it. we sit outside and smoke 2 joints total while talking about really morbid thoughts we both have (we're both diagnosed with bpd) but in a very matter-of-fact manner and not at all emotionally, it was actually kind of funny. she's a lesbian and I'm bi with a strong preference for men but at that moment as she was talking I felt that the whole situation was incredibly romantic and I really wanted to just kiss her, which I did not do. fast forward to the next day we're sat on the couch and discussing yesterday's events and turns out she felt it too. I stayed for one more night, we smoked that night too and I could not shake this feeling that awoke in me, I don't know if I should tell her or just keep it to myself and hope it passes.

I'm a 26-year-old Italian guy with 3 years of experience in web development.
I'm currently unemployed because I recently quit my job at a Big 4 company to move to Dublin. I know I could have kept my job until I found something else, but from what I’ve read, It’s quite difficult that someone calls me from Dublin while I’m still in Italy. I’ve already applied to a few positions without any luck. So, I decided to take a leap of faith, life is short, and I want to bet on myself. 😄
I plan to start my job search in Ireland in February and am currently reviewing my resume.
I would really appreciate it if you could give me some advice or tips on improving my resume. I also have a few specific questions:
- University: I haven’t finished university yet (I started working at the end of my first year), but I plan to complete my degree in the future.
- s it a good idea to include this on my resume and specify that my degree is still in progress?
- Would it be useful to list some relevant courses I completed and include their grades to show that I studied computer engineering with (I think) decent results?
- Gap between high school and university: I started university three years after finishing high school because I spent that time studying piano. During those years, I also worked at a small web agency (I was the only employee) and did some sales work. How can I present this experience on my resume to show I wasn’t just sitting idle, without being too verbose?
- Career transition: I’m okay with continuing as a web developer for now, but my long-term goal is to transition into software development. I know this means starting from scratch in many ways. How can I clearly communicate this to recruiters without sounding uncommitted to web development?
- I worked primarily with SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), a platform mainly used by consultancy firms in Italy and Greece. In your opinion, could this be seen as a drawback? Should I present this differently—for example, by highlighting that I worked on a Node.js-like backend (since the SFCC language, RhinoJS, is essentially a Java implementation of Node.js)?

I’m in a dire situation right now. I have finals in two months, and basically have to study about ten hours a day, at least
But I have been facing an weird problem for the last few months. I cannot stop sleeping in. I just cannot. Just no.
I got multiple alarms for the morning but man, this exactly what happens every. Single. Day. I wake up, I turn the one alarm that is ringing (it’s one of those puzzle alarms actually, so that I cannot turn it off right away), alongside the other two (these are backups in case I didn’t hear one for two), and go straight to bed.
FYI, I get about NINE hours of sleep before I can hear the first alarm. Nine. And after turning the alarms off I’ll get four-five more hours.
I get at least about twenty minutes of exercise a day, get as much sunlight possible, eat healthy. I’ve seen two doctors so far and both of them came to roughly the same conclusion: I don’t have a medical issue.
One of them noted that possibly it’s just a psychological thing and would sort itself out. I don’t have depression either (not self-diagnosed).
I’ll take ANY advice. I’m desperate.

Hi friends. I noticed that chips in grocery chains are around half the price as they are in convenience stores. I'm told by the C-Store owners that Frito-Lay charges them far higher prices than it charges the chain groceries, even though the products are made at the same plants and delivered by the same fleet of trucks. Does anyone know why and how Frito-Lay does this? As in, does the company assign customers to different "channels" and have different prices in each channel? Thank you!
