2025.01.24 18:40 stuartLittle24 Electronic city fly over: Was hit by a car as revenge , please suggest how I can handle this further
I was on my way to office around 12:30 pm, and i was almost at the end of electronic city fly over. A guy came speeding away from right side and it felt like if he was closer by 2-3 inches I would be done. He was travelling around 100+ kmpr and i was around 50kmph, I could not even sense him with my peripheral view and the vehicle sound.
I was agitated by that and try to confront that guy. He was slowed down near the y junction near electronicx city. I showed him my finger our of anger and frustation as it he drove away very closely at high speed.
Luckily he was caught near tollandr traffic police were present.Evenh hoysala arrivedandd just stood there. He was telling that I had molested her sister and he took out his car after that day.
In Electronic city Police stationii was sent to hospital for my treatment which I was not feeling at that moment. When I returned that guy was not present and he didn't come at all. Police didn't file FIR as they told I need to go to parappana agrahara police station and file a complaint. They have filed just incident report.
I have that guy's photo, number plate, address, the medical report which is sent by hospital to the police station.
I know I should have left it but it happenedoas a reaction as he was dangerously close like he was playing a video game. I am in Banglore from 7 years and have seen everything. I couldn't keep quite today.
I got a call in the evening from the traffic police station, said that guy's party had come and he doesn't know it they have taken the vehicle or not. Please suggest me what can be done about this.

 | Stumbled on these brass candle holders recently. Using Google image search, the closest thing I found was by Carl Aübock, but unsure if it's the same or not. For example, the Aübock ones seemed to have an engraving on the bottom and lack the two holes on the side. But I cannot find a design that similar other than that one. My partner and I are deciding between moving to Toronto or Montreal and would love some insights, especially from those who’ve lived in both cities. We’re particularly curious to hear from Ontarians (especially those who aren't fluent in French) who’ve experienced life in both places but happy to hear from anyone who has lived in both MTL + TO.
Feel free to share whatever you think is important, but here are some specific questions I have:
- How do you feel the overall quality of life compares between Toronto and Montreal?
- What are the biggest HEADACHES about living in Montreal? I want to be realistic and know what the challenges are and what to be expecting.
- How significant is the language barrier for non-French speakers living in Montreal?
- Aside from rent, how does the cost of living in Montreal compare to Toronto (groceries, dining out, shopping, etc.)?
- For those who moved from Montreal to Toronto (or vice versa), what do you feel are the biggest differences?
- Are there any other factors you think we should consider when deciding between the two cities?
- What’s the general vibe of the creative community in Montreal compared to Toronto? Is there more support for freelancers in either city? My partner and I are photographers, we love the fashion world, bookstores, coffee shops, running, interior design, etc. In Paris, we found it was very easy to meet and connect with people and they were quite up for meeting for a coffee or dinner. We'd like to do more photo work in MTL and I'm curious if it's very cliquey or if people help each other out, enjoy collaborating together, etc.
- What’s the job market like for freelancers or people in creative industries (photographers, designers, etc.)?
- What’s the general pace of life in both cities, in terms of work-life balance and social activities? Is one city more laid-back than the other?
- How does the weather in Montreal affect your daily life? I’ve heard winters are really long and harsh... Are people exaggerating or not really? How do people cope with the cold?
- Is either city more or less dog friendly?
For more context about us: We are M+F in our early 30s, we spent the last two years living in France, and we absolutely loved it. The only reason we moved back is Visa reasons. We aren't fluent in French, but we had a very easy time adapting to the culture in France and doing day-to-day tasks like ordering food or greeting people, and most people were very friendly and accommodating when we needed to switch to English. There were occasional challenges, like phone calls or specific situations, but overall, we had a really great quality of life despite the language barrier.
Since we came back to Canada, Toronto seemed like the logical choice since we’re from Ontario—we have friends & family here, and no need to deal with things like switching health cards or driver’s licenses, filing taxes from another province, etc... However, the cost of renting in Toronto is staggering. We are both currently freelancers and the only reason I could see us moving to Toronto is if either of us got a good FT job w/Salary there. Otherwise, with our current income, Montreal seems much more affordable, especially because we could find a place for literally half the rent of what we'd pay in Toronto. But we’re wondering how the two cities compare in other areas like groceries, eating out, and shopping.

I bought 10 of TCS34725 modules. I didn't notice then that it has not configuring address. Is it possible to connect more than 1 module via i2c, for example using "i2c address changer"? :)
I had an idea to do 8-ch color identifier on chip with 1 i2c bus but now I dont' know if it is possible to do at all.
Any suggestions? Maybe i2c address translator exists?

Hey everyone!
From what I understand a lot of people here believe that our current life is just a stepping stone in our soul’s life. We’re here in this life to learn lessons and we’ve had plenty of past lives and will have plenty of future lives. If this is the case it’s kinda upsetting that I won’t have my family as they are now.
I know that everyone important in our lives is part of our soul family and we’ll see them again in a different form but I love my family as they are now. I love my siblings and my parents and my cousins and I can’t imagine loving them any other way.
This isn’t really a question so I don’t know why I’m posting, I guess im just looking for other people’s insights into this?
I hope I’ve explained myself well enough. I also don’t want my soul to not care about this life, because this life at the moment IS ME. I love this life and I love who I am in this life
