Good timezone, everyone!
I got a pretty decent pc about a year and a half ago, absolutely love it and I’m able to run most things on it. I recently got Ready or Not and have been playing with some friends with very VERY little lag, even at max graphics. However, Path of Exile 2 seems to be lagging almost constantly. I’ll have a solid 10-15 seconds of happiness where I can play, and then everything locks up for a few seconds before speeding forward to where I am supposed to be. It’s literally only Path of Exile that does this, too; I’ve played other online games, including Phasmophobia, Marvel Rivals, and Risk of Rain 2 without any lag or buffer in any way shape or form.
I don’t currently have the specs on hand for my pc, but I will also say I bought it prebuilt if that matters at all.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I’ve been trying to fix this by any means necessary; I deleted old shaders, I flushed my system, I restarted my pc and my WiFi several dozen times, I’ve altered, returned, and altered every single option in the menu that has anything to do with performance to no avail. I really don’t know what to do, it makes the game functionally unplayable as a minion build because the enemies run past my minions and rip me in half in three hits. Can anyone please help and give me any assistance that might help me? Thank you!

2025.01.24 18:30 TheReallyBoringOne Iron Marines trouble
I recently remembered that this genre exists and was happy to play another KR game on my phone after 4-5 years. Been playing for a couple days, I'm on the first planet and am stuck at level 7, where you have to kill the Fell Bishop after breaking him out of his cocoon. I've done every spec ops level thus far and have gone back and done a few levels over again just to get a couple more perks, but nothing has stomped me like this guy has. He kills all of my heroes in just a few hits, my units in 1 or 2, and then demolishes buildings before I can build up again.
I'm wondering what I'm missing. I've seen people say you can beat the Bishop with 6-8 of the melee warriors, but you're only given I think 3 units for that level. Is there another part of the game I'm missing, or am I already supposed to be grinding levels for hours? I've just now gotten to the perk that bottlenecks the beginning set of perks.
Side note: this is already the end of the first planet and there are only 3 planets. Are all the games this short and I've just forgotten?

Hey All,
I'm about 6 months into Netsuite...coming from Quickbooks, primarily. Trust and believe I know that Intuit is not an answer to everything, but I'm just so underwhelmed by Netsuite I just have to think I'm missing something.
What's really pushed me over the edge is that I just realized that my and my co-worker's balance sheets are out of balance with each other. I found the transactions, but I don't have a high enough subscription with tech support to have anyone help as it's not a 'critical issue'. What's more critical to accounting software than posting errors? We pay almost 2k/month and I can't even get out of the AI tech support loop to talk to a real person. My salesperson is also unhelpful. This isn't a budget issue either, the company's pockets are plenty deep...I just can't justify throwing money at this terrible product when I don't see any results. It's like we got halfway onboarded and left to the wind.
EVERYTHING is an extra $499/month. EVERYTHING requires a "professional" or "advisor" to help set up and integrate. I am very well versed and comfortable with apps, light coding and I'm being told I need to spend thousands to make every little change. I got bank feeds running well for few days...they kept breaking and all I'm told is that I don't have the skill to install the plug in? Cool. I found out at SuiteWorld that this plug in is garbage and doesn't work well for anyone....so say that?
My boss sent me to SuiteWorld - which was also no help. It's just a nonstop commercial for how great Netsuite is (if you want to spend thousands more a month.) I've also taken a Udemy course and have spent nauseating amounts of time in SuiteAnswers. You wouldn't believe how much time I spent getting Locations to turn on for line item expense tracking.
We're stuck with the software for another 5 years...I just don't get what the appeal is.
What are resources you've found helpful? What am I missing here?

Her biological father said to her mother he was a descendant of the Imperial Family of Li, and left the half-jade plate with her Mom.
After the incident, Joka made a decision on retiring of her life as a courtesan to disappear from the city. And left the plate to Mao Mao get rid of it, or investigate about it, because she knows her little sister has contacts with powerfull people, like Jinshi and Lakan. Now I wonder, what Mao Mao can do to help her sister disappear.
1) Send her to Ah-Duo's Village: unless is already clouded and there is no vacancy there, I think Joka would be safe.
2) She can be Mao Mao's lady in waiting. Since she helped raising Mao Mao when she was a baby, and Lakan would do it if his daughter asked to buy her. But according to Lahan, they are strugling to pay some debts, so that would be difficult.
3) Send her to the palace to be a court lady or concubine? I don't think Joka would like that. And Mao Mao knows that being a consort is not so much different than being a courtesan.

2025.01.24 18:30 RainbowSovietPagan Looking for volunteers who know (or are willing to learn) C++ and OpenGL to help build a custom game engine for recreating FFXI as an offline single-player RPG
Similar attempts at recreating FFXI as a single player offline RPG have already been attempted using existing engines like Unity and Unreal, but neither of these engines uses the same rendering techniques that are used in FFXI’s official engine, and so the zones always required extensive modifying, which was incredibly time consuming, but even then the zones never looked quite right. Plus the sheer number of zones meant that only a small handful ever got converted over. While this has certainly produced some impressive fan projects, it has not produced a playable game, which I have come to believe is because using Unity or Unreal kind of compels the modder to focus most of their time and attention on the art and 3D modeling aspects of development, rather than the code for functional gameplay. And since there is a snowball’s chance in hell of SE ever releasing their own official engine and tools to the general public, the only other viable option is to reverse engineer the game and build our own custom engine from scratch using C++ and OpenGL (using DirectX would limit the engine to Windows machines, and Vulkan is too fucking difficult).
The goal is to first build a functional model viewer, and then continue to build gameplay systems on top of that until we have essentially recreated all of the major gameplay systems in the game, thus making FFXI Offline a reality. Because this new custom engine would be able to read the official unaltered DAT files directly, no time would need to be wasted on ripping and reassembling game assets, as is necessary for fan projects built in Unity and Unreal. Also, it would also mean that every zone in the game would be accessible without having to manually recreate and rebuild each one. (this is basically just me raving about the game) Ok so basically, I downloaded the game at ots peak but deleted it pretty quick cuz I kept getting the casual day 5 bad ending and got frustrated 😭 I was pretty young and stupid and wasn't really that phone addicted. Now I just restarted the game a few days and am using a chat room guide and also basic instructions from the internet to play, and it's so good!! I started with Zen's route and I plan to get all his endings and then get all pf Yoosung's and then Jaehee's before moving on to Deep Story (i really wanna do seven's route but i have this weird thing of doing a game in a proper order). I'm so happy i picked it up again!! What about you guys? Whats your story with the game?
